Evan Yang was currently locked in a struggle with Titus Skyflood. In Titus's eyes, if things kept going this way, he’d soon catch up to Evan. But Evan wasn’t stupid—he knew that only by using the surrounding Chaos Stones and manipulating gravity could he avoid being caught.
"Evan Yang, hand over the Soulreaver Godblade and I’ll spare your life. All our past grudges will be wiped clean," Titus Skyflood said.
"Titus Skyflood, you’ve tried to kill me more than once. Why would I believe you? And as for the Soulreaver Godblade, there’s no way I’d hand it over," Evan replied.
"You don’t have the strength to unleash the Godblade’s true power. Keeping it is just a waste—why not trade it for your life?" Titus continued to tempt him.
"My life is mine to decide. And my Godblade is definitely not something I’ll hand over to you," Evan said with a smile.
Seeing Evan unmoved by his offer, Titus Skyflood snorted coldly. "So be it—today, your life ends here."
Evan was about to speak when he noticed Lan Wind and Cole Wood trying to break open a Chaos Stone, attempting to retrieve whatever God-grade artifact might be inside.
"Damn it, how dare you steal treasures right under my nose!" Titus Skyflood roared in fury when he saw this.
At that moment, Damon Darklord spoke up: "Leave those two to me. You focus on dealing with Evan Yang."
Titus Skyflood trusted Damon Darklord, so he said, "Alright, I’ll leave them to you. Give those two a good lesson."
With that, Damon Darklord began tangling with Cole Wood and Lan Wind.
But all three of them were on the same side, so naturally they wouldn’t truly attack each other—just routine strikes.
Titus Skyflood didn’t pay attention, focusing solely on capturing Evan Yang. But Evan’s multiple strands of divine sense noticed that Damon Darklord could have attacked the wounded Lan Wind several times, yet always missed.
"What’s up with those three anyway?" Evan wondered to himself.
As the battle between Titus Skyflood and Evan raged on, Evan kept dodging Titus while also keeping an eye on those three.
Lan Wind and Cole Wood had some kind of artifact—a rope, one end held by each of them. Then, in a flash, the rope turned into a net. Once it became a net, the two quickly dragged it and rushed off in another direction.
Damon Darklord snorted coldly, "Trying to escape? Courting death."
Hearing Damon Darklord’s voice, Titus Skyflood hesitated for a moment, but remembering Damon’s strength, he stayed focused on dealing with Evan Yang.
Evan Yang knew those three were acting strangely, so without hesitation, he headed in the direction they disappeared. Seeing Evan follow, Titus Skyflood hurried after him too. But Evan wasn’t just chasing those people—he was also using nearby Chaos Stones to block Titus’s path and slow him down.
"Luckily, speed here is reduced to one-thousandth. Even though I’m slowed too, my treasures aren’t affected," Evan thought. His Fly-Fire Boots were completely unaffected, which let him avoid Titus Skyflood’s attacks—otherwise, with Titus’s strength, Evan would’ve been seriously injured already.
Evan Yang flew faster and faster, gradually widening the gap between himself and Titus Skyflood. He then saw that Damon Darklord was following Lan Wind and Cole Wood, but wasn’t actually attacking.
Evan dodged aside, wasted no time, and drew the Soulreaver Godblade, slashing straight at the Chaos Stone. He quickly stashed whatever was inside the stone into the Strange Spiral Shell, then slipped away.
The whole move took just a single breath. By the time Lan Wind and Cole Wood realized what happened, Evan was gone. Damon Darklord and the others only saw something flash for a moment before Evan snatched it away.
"Quick, stop him!" Damon Darklord shouted in shock. Evan immediately sped up.
Lan Wind and the others reacted and hurried after Evan, but without the Divine Demon Saber, the Chaos Stones Evan had sent flying blocked their way. The distance kept growing, and soon they lost track of him completely.
"Damn it," Damon Darklord said, furious and shocked.
"How is that guy so fast?" Lan Wind couldn’t believe it.
"I don’t know. His speed is barely restricted here—and I have no idea why," Damon Darklord said, frowning.
"Forget it, let’s just figure out how to find him," Cole Wood said angrily. The God-grade artifact he almost had was gone, just like that.
No one was more upset than Lan Wind—it was a fire attribute artifact.
"You two should leave now. When Titus Skyflood arrives, you won’t be able to escape," Damon Darklord suddenly thought of something and urged them to go. He kept chasing after Evan Yang.
Lan Wind and Cole Wood took Damon Darklord’s warning and went down another path, avoiding Titus Skyflood.
When Titus Skyflood caught up with Damon Darklord, he found no one else around. Suspicious, he asked, "Where did everyone go?"
"Those two escaped, and Evan Yang took the God-grade artifact and went that way," Damon Darklord said.
"What? Evan Yang? He took the God-grade artifact?" Titus Skyflood said, furious and shocked.
"Yes, that’s right. I’ve already left a trace of dark element on him. In this darkness, he won’t notice it—I can use it to track him," Damon Darklord said.
"That’s great. Quick, we have to find him before he leaves the Chaos World," Titus Skyflood said.
Damon Darklord nodded and headed in Evan Yang’s direction, secretly keeping in touch with Lan Wind and Cole Wood.
Meanwhile, Lan Wind and Cole Wood exchanged a glance, then headed toward the information Damon Darklord provided. Soon, Palace Lord Gale found Lan Wind and Cole Wood.
"Where’s Evan Yang?" Palace Lord Gale asked, having arrived later and not knowing what happened.
