Twin Battle Generals, Fragmented Pill Ascends the Dragon Elephant
Jack led the way, stone-faced. Jill followed, eyebrows practically tangled. Ten meters apart—a sweet spot, perfect for attack or retreat, and their breathing synced so tight it made the Six-Armed Battle General hesitate. Its three eyes flickered from yellow to red, then it stomped the ground and charged. The twins kicked off too, launching a double attack.
All three were pure muscle—no fancy footwork here, just raw speed. Dust exploded up as they moved, the short distance vanished in a blink, and fist, sword, spear—bam!—everything crashed together at once.
Boom! The shockwave kicked up a cloud of dust. Jack and Jill tangled with the Six-Armed Battle General, trading blows like phantoms. Unlike last time when things were clean and quick, this fight was a blur—countless moves in seconds, then bang! They bounced apart, landing on opposite sides.
Jack braced Jill’s waist, and together they hopped back a dozen steps, cracking the ground with every stomp before finally easing off. “Whoa! That was insane—power, speed, and some seriously refined blood energy!” Jill couldn’t help blurting it out. They’d swapped a ton of attacks and defense in just a few seconds. Dragon Elephant: Seventh Level, four-plus tons of force, and they still got steamrolled!
But the Six-Armed Battle General also got knocked back—actually, it retreated twice as far as when it tanked a full-power punch from the Diamond Dragon Elephant: Tenth Level. Two dusty fist marks were left on its jet-black armor, proof of the twins’ mind-blowing teamwork. Jill took the hit, Jack scattered the energy at its chest, then when Jack went in, Jill smashed it with all she had. Split-second timing, total trust—no way you pull that off without being totally in sync.
Too bad, those punches barely scratched it. The Six-Armed Battle General’s three eyes flashed, the red deepening, and it leveled its spear for another attack.
Limb count’s even—six arms, four arms and four legs—but the twins were getting squashed. The Six-Armed Battle General’s moves were sharp and ruthless, its six arms weaving a net you couldn’t break through. Attacks poured in like mercury, defenses were airtight—no way to slip past.
Strong, fast, skilled—these all-rounders are the scariest things on the battlefield. If you don’t have a monstrous base stat, you gotta rely on god-tier gear to break through.
Snap! Jill’s sword got skewered by the short spear and shot toward her face. Her eyes flashed like headlights—she dodged by a hair. The Six-Armed Battle General switched it up, pressing down hard, aiming for her shoulder. Jill lifted her hand to block, Jack slapped the spear—perfect coordination, hard and soft, defense and counterattack.
Boom! The Six-Armed Battle General staggered back, its guard open for a split second—but the twins didn’t press the attack. Instead, they leapt back over ten meters, squaring off again. Clang! The broken sword spun out and stabbed into the dirt, Jill chucked the other half with a dramatic flourish.
Even our gear's getting crushed! Where'd this guy come from—are all aliens loaded or what?
We're not their match right now. Even with Advanced Internal Martial Arts, it's tough to do any real damage.
Jill nodded reluctantly. This Six-Armed Battle General was a jack-of-all-trades, and that shell was just ridiculous. Even with Advanced Internal Martial Arts, maybe you could hold it down, but who knows how long before it shakes it off—not to mention landing a real hit.
The real problem is, we're just way outclassed in raw power!
Ugh! Since when did I ever lose in sheer strength?! Losing in other ways, fine, but this—this is just unacceptable!
So what now—do we fight or bail? We're running out of time.
If they ran, they could grab that little pile of Secondary Meat Pills and get out of there, then wait for the right moment to come back. If they really wanted to escape, even the Six-Armed Battle General couldn't catch them right away. Safe, guaranteed, and they'd score some pills. All things considered, it was the smart move.
But Jill just flashed her tiger teeth and gave the Six-Armed Battle General a wicked look: "If I were you, would I even ask? Of course we're fighting! And not just fighting—we're gonna take down this turtle and snatch all the pills and its fancy gear!"
Jack nodded. He didn't bother asking how—they both knew. He stepped forward alone to meet the charging Six-Armed Battle General, buying Jill some time. Gold flashed in Jill's hand as she pulled out a handful of Secondary Meat Pills, popping them left and right.
Just a little farther to the limit. Once I level up, you're toast!
Munch, munch, gulp. Life energy spread from Jill’s belly to every limb, kicking her body into a new round of evolution. Four months since the Antarctica battle, and Dragon Elephant: Seventh Level was almost maxed out. Normally, she’d ration the pills, squeezing out every last drop before popping the next one, so progress was slow.
But today, I’m going all out—no holding back!
Jill downed four Secondary Meat Pills in a row, then let out a burp—her cheeks instantly flushed. "Ahhh—!" Her belly felt like it was on fire, every pore blasting out steam. Blood pumped faster, heart thumping like a drum, and the Dragon Elephant technique raced toward completion.
But, “Not enough—still a little short!” Jack was barely holding his own against the Six-Armed Battle General. At a time like this, they needed something way stronger and wilder!
She flipped her hand, revealing a Fragmented Pill the size of a hawthorn slice, smelling crazy strong. Jill shoved it in her mouth, but her teeth barely made a dent—crunch, crunch, nothing. “Come on, work with me! Are you seriously this stubborn?” Annoyed, she balled up her fist and punched herself in the chin, uppercut style!
With a mix of bite and punch, the Fragmented Pill finally gave way—crack!—and crumbled to powder.
Jill winced at the toothache, but swallowed the powder anyway. Instantly, her eyes went wide, blood-red veins crawling across her eyeballs as she hugged her belly and collapsed with a muffled groan.
Jack, who was sparring with the Six-Armed Battle General, shuddered for a moment, slowing down just a beat. The alien instantly seized the chance—six short spears shot out, aiming for a kill. But they stabbed nothing but air! The Six-Armed Battle General’s eyes flickered in surprise—Jack’s dodge was way faster than before, catching it off guard.
Suddenly, it turned to look at Jill. Its three eyes flashed nonstop, shifting from yellow toward red.
Steam hissed out all around Jill, her whole body surrounded by thick white fog. She staggered to her feet, looking just like a character about to go berserk.
So—hot—ah—!' Jill suddenly looked up and yelled, the gust of energy blowing away the steam to reveal her face—redder than a chili pepper. Boom! The ground exploded under her feet as she shot forward like a phantom. "Yaaah!" Maybe from too much energy, her hair was practically standing on end, and her punch whistled through the air.
The Six-Armed Battle General stepped forward, swinging a punch—its black arm met Jill’s white armor.
With the first clash, Jill’s gauntlet shattered into tiny pieces, flying out in all directions. Her bare fist—red as a tomato—collided with the Six-Armed Battle General’s, but unlike fighting the Titan, this time neither backed down. Thud! They hit dead even.
Its eyes flashed—another punch coming! But before it could move, Jill’s other fist smashed into its chest like a thunderbolt, way faster than expected.
Crack! The Six-Armed Battle General went flying like a baseball, crashing through the ground in a cloud of dust for dozens of meters. Jill’s punch sent it soaring!
But Jill didn’t chase—she just hopped in place, sticking out her tongue like she was on fire. “Ahhh, so hot! My stomach’s exploding—can’t take it!”
The Fragmented Pill’s energy was way stronger than expected, surging through Jill’s body like lava, even making her bones crackle. Meanwhile, Jack’s skin started turning red too—the power was flowing into him as well.
But Jack strode over, planted his left hand on Jill’s shoulder, then punched her belly. “Ugh…” Instead of hurting, Jill actually felt better—the wild energy calmed down a bit. Jack raised both palms, eyes flashing, and started slapping away.
When the Six-Armed Battle General shook itself off and got up, it saw Jack going full “domestic violence”—beating Jill with expert moves. Waist, belly, limbs—every slap made her bones crackle. Her silver armor was long gone, her skin less red now. After a round of “massage therapy,” Jack’s sleeves whipped through the air as he aimed a double punch at Jill’s chest—
Smack—Jill knocked Jack’s hand away herself.
“Don’t need you—I’ve got this.” Jill squinted at Jack, clenched her fists, and threw her head back with a long howl: “Aaaah!” Steam poured from her mouth, every pore hissing so loud even regular folks could hear it.
Out came all sorts of gunk too—gray mist and impurities shot out with the steam, Jill’s body crackling as she literally grew two centimeters taller. Her platinum hair got a few inches longer, shinier than a photoshopped ad.
A moment later, the howling stopped, steam faded, and her skin went back to normal. Jill flexed her fists, her face flipping from surprise to disbelief, then lighting up like she’d hit the jackpot.
“Whew—cough cough…” After a couple laughs, Jill realized her throat was dry as dust. She grabbed her canteen and chugged water. The Six-Armed Battle General charged in, spears whistling through the air. Jill ignored it, kept drinking. Once she finished the last drop, she tossed the canteen and finally threw a punch at the charging alien.
This punch was on a whole different level—unstoppable force, with a roar that wouldn’t quit.
