Ryan Ling felt that everything happening was just too miraculous. There was no doubt this time—the branch he’d found wasn’t just powerful, it was basically no longer a branch at all, but the entire trunk of the Primeval Heavenwood itself. And the moment its aura surged wildly into Ryan’s body, his own internal Primeval Heavenwood started swelling, growing at breakneck speed!
The number of green leaves instantly multiplied several times over, and what was even crazier—the Heavenwood flowers that had already withered suddenly bloomed again! Even more insane, they opened at lightning speed, then withered, then fruited, all in the blink of an eye. The whole Primeval Heavenwood was now loaded with plump fruit, so tempting it made your mouth water. Obviously, these fruits were way stronger than anything before!
And what was even more unbelievable—an endless geyser of Immortal Water burst out from the main trunk, and the number of Immortal Crystals piled up to a peak, almost forming a mountain of crystals around him!
Ryan felt like he’d totally struck gold—these treasures were almost enough to let him charge straight for the Heavenly Immortal Realm!
And it was super obvious he’d gotten way more than Arthur Shentu ever did!
On the outside it still didn’t look like much, but inside it was straight-up boiling!
Ryan himself was even more hyped—at this moment, his own inner space was basically a mini Immortal realm, and his Earth Immortal qi was skyrocketing, almost reaching the absolute peak of Earth Immortal power. Nobody else could possibly break through to this level!
You could say, right now his foundation was rock solid—practically perfect!
But what really got him fired up was that, right as the Primeval Heavenwood branch fused with him, besides the insane power stacking, he somehow sensed an unprecedented divine force descending from above!
This power was seriously weird—so deep and mysterious Ryan couldn’t even grasp it. It was like a towering mountain range, and he was just a tiny pebble in front of it!
Faced with this kind of aura, Ryan instantly knew—this was definitely some kind of top-tier Giant God!
Only an ultra-powerful Giant God could unleash such insane divine force. Ryan couldn’t even begin to grasp it—it was just boundless, way stronger than Immortals or Profound Immortals. As for exactly how strong, Ryan had no clue!
But one thing he was sure of—the entity wasn’t hostile at all. In fact, it actually felt friendly toward him!
Right now, Ryan really wanted to greet this mysterious god, but with his current power, he could only sense its aura—he couldn’t talk to it at all!
“This is just insanely strong!” Ryan knew for sure this thing was a total monster, and his Earth Immortal power just wasn’t enough to communicate. Unless he hit Heavenly Immortal level, there was no way he’d ever be able to talk to it!
Thinking about all this, Ryan felt the entity’s strength even more. Sure, he was technically still just Earth Immortal, but his power was way beyond most Heavenly Immortals. Even so, he couldn’t connect at all—just imagining how strong that being was made him shiver!
Still, even without direct communication, just that tiny trace of descending divine power was already a massive benefit for Ryan. The combined force of Primeval Heavenwood plus this divine power was actually letting him reach Heavenly Immortal!
Of course, he wasn’t in any rush. He wanted to slowly fuse the two Primeval Heavenwoods and really savor the aura of this top Giant God. These realizations were probably even more valuable than breaking through to Heavenly Immortal!
If he ever managed to get on this god’s good side—or even take it as his master—he might just become the supreme being of the whole Immortal Domain World overnight!
But just as Ryan was raking in these insane benefits, on the other side Arthur Shentu was getting a crazy boost from the entire Celestial Hall. All the visible, tangible power inside was being sucked up by Arthur, and on the surface, it looked like Ryan hadn’t gotten anything at all.
And right as all those benefits flooded into Arthur, his body started changing in wild ways—his accumulated Heavenly Immortal foundation shattered in an instant, morphing into something even more profound.
Above Celestial Hall, endless thunderclouds gathered, and inside them appeared gigantic divine generals, clawing and roaring as they hammered down on the hall like they were about to smash it to bits.
Ryan knew exactly what was happening—Arthur was breaking through to the Heavenly Immortal Realm, and every top elder in Ruins Sect was glued to him. A breakthrough like this was a huge deal; reaching Heavenly Immortal could literally decide the fate of a sect!
“Charge! Charge! Charge!” Arthur was yelling like crazy, throwing all his power at the thunderclouds—this was the kind of attitude that forces fate itself. If he actually broke through, he’d instantly become one of the top young talents in the whole Immortal Domain World, with a future even more enviable than the Supreme Elders!
Compared to them, Arthur was way younger, with way more opportunities ahead!
And right then, Arthur smashed through the endless thunderclouds—the thousands of lightning bolts couldn’t touch him, and even those so-called divine generals didn’t attack, but actually seemed to help him! Even the Supreme Elders were jealous; none of their own breakthroughs ever got perks like this!
“Break! Break! Break!” Arthur was screaming his head off, totally lost in the moment. His whole body was exploding with power, and half of Celestial Hall collapsed in an instant—the scene was jaw-dropping!

Such a powerful breakthrough was way beyond ordinary Heavenly Immortals—Arthur’s value skyrocketed in an instant, and tons of Supreme Elders couldn’t help but cheer.
“Arthur Shentu really is the hope of Ruins Sect. He’ll be the model for the new generation, and definitely the one our whole sect should look up to. His future is basically limitless.”
“Exactly! With how he’s performing, it won’t be long before he surpasses all of us. I bet the sect master’s throne is his sooner or later, and he’ll lead Ruins Sect to its greatest glory!”
“Now you can all see who’s really strong. Compared to Arthur, that new kid is nothing—his realm hasn’t even budged! Keep this up and he’ll be washed out for sure!”
...
Right now, everyone saw Arthur as the ultimate role model for the sect, while Ryan was just a flash in the pan—nothing special at all!
But Ryan didn’t care in the slightest. The benefits he’d just gotten were way beyond anyone’s imagination. There was no point fighting Arthur for now—he’d rather lay low, keep building power, and then break through to Heavenly Immortal when the time was right!
Ryan knew perfectly well—if he broke through to Heavenly Immortal, it’d be totally unprecedented. He’d crush every Heavenly Immortal out there, and even Arthur, who just made it to Heavenly Immortal, wouldn’t be worth his attention!
“Arthur, you’re awesome—breaking into Heavenly Immortal so young! All us old-timers are genuinely happy for you!”
“Arthur, keep it up! You’re definitely the next sect master—no doubt about it!”
“Arthur, you better treat us old guys well in the future—don’t just toss us aside!”
...
As Arthur walked out of Celestial Hall, all the Supreme Elders crowded around him, showering him with flattery—totally dropping any elder dignity!
Meanwhile, Ryan was still inside Celestial Hall, pretty much forgotten by everyone. Only Elder Harold kept quietly watching, though even he was torn inside—Ryan’s trip to Celestial Hall didn’t seem to have brought any visible breakthrough...
