Chapter 1197

A group of demons kept nodding, clearly agreeing with the statement.

The Bone Demon sat silently, his eyes beginning to flicker.

Damn it, this Pureblood Hellfire Demon appeared out of nowhere. His advancement is terrifyingly fast—he must be the most outstanding pureblood offspring of some powerful Hellfire Demon Lord.

If someone like him ends up here and I manage to kill him, that Hellfire Demon Lord will have an excuse—a reason to invade this world.

Those lunatics with magma for brains have pulled this trick countless times before.

They use the death of a Pureblood Hellfire Demon as an excuse to invade, and even if they eventually retreat under the pressure of the Archfiend,

at least half of this world would be assimilated into magma and volcanoes. And when it comes to claiming territory with volcanoes and magma, who could possibly compete with the Hellfire Demons?

In the end, they’d still occupy the land, and with their innate abilities, it wouldn’t take more than a few thousand years for our layer of the world to be completely transformed into a realm of magma and volcanoes.

But if I don’t get rid of that Pureblood Hellfire Demon, my territory will be snatched away...

The Bone Demon, growing increasingly agitated, ruthlessly killed a nearby demon steward. Beneath the ever-present shroud of shadow energy, Bilbo finally spoke.

"My lord, that guy isn't the descendant of any Hellfire Demon Lord at all. I've investigated thoroughly—he's just an ordinary Hellfire Demon, born by accident in the volcano.

He absolutely has nothing to do with any other Hellfire Demon Lords.

All we need to do is kill that guy, and our current predicament will be completely resolved.

You just need to personally lead the troops and draw the army’s attention. I’ll use my assassination skills to take him out, then pin the blame on another demon.

Isn’t the right side of the Hellfire Demon territory adjacent to a Shadow Demon’s domain? Even if something happens, we can just claim it’s not our fault—that those foolish Shadow Demons broke the Abyss’s war rules and killed that poor Pureblood Hellfire Demon."

Bilbo sneered as she revealed her plan. As expected, selfish and greedy demons would never reject such a scheme, full of loopholes as it was—so long as it benefited them, that was enough.

Bilbo’s plan was quickly endorsed by the Bone Demon. In less than half a day, the Bone Demon personally led his army to launch a full-scale war.

As long as Bilbo was eliminated after the plan succeeded, the Bone Demon would not only reclaim his territory, but also avoid any potential future retaliation.

The level thirty-nine Bone Demon Minor Overlord personally took action, leading all the Abyssal armies of his territory to attack Leon’s domain.
