Originally, everyone thought that their previous defeat was due to having fewer people and the extraordinary aura of the Dark Night Phoenix suppressing them so fiercely. But now, after cooperating with the orcs, their overall strength is at least three times greater than when they attacked before!
Yet now, the Dark Night Phoenix unleashed its extraordinary aura to suppress them, actually weakening all Sky Rank combatants by twenty percent, and even the Title Magi were suppressed by forty percent!
On the orc side, the eight Sky Rank warriors looked grim, with the other seven all turning to Gaolsposi—the Golden Orc—who knew the Blazeforge Battlefield best.
Before entering the Blazeforge Battlefield, they already knew there was a Level 2 Sky Rank Dark Night Phoenix here. Last time, when they entered, the orcs relied on several Level 1 Sky Rank warriors to block the Dark Night Phoenix when they found the Alchemical Array.
Back then, those Sky Rank warriors were only suppressed by a little over ten percent of their strength by the Level 2 Dark Night Phoenix. As guardians of the Alchemical Array, they could barely hold it off.
But now, with the Dark Night Phoenix’s extraordinary suppression spread across so many people, it could still weaken the Sky Rank’s strength by twenty percent!
This means that if a Level 1 Sky Rank were to face the Dark Night Phoenix alone now, its extraordinary aura suppression would cut their strength by at least half!
A Level 1 Sky Rank with more than half its strength weakened would last, at most, a minute against the Dark Night Phoenix before being reduced to ashes.
Gaolsposi’s face was grim, his eyes filled with gravity.
This Level 2 Sky Rank Dark Night Phoenix is even more intelligent and powerful than before—at least twice as strong as when the Blazeforge Battlefield last opened.
If it takes action itself, along with this horde of magical beasts, all of us together probably wouldn’t stand a chance. We have to deal with these pseudo-Sky Rank beasts and those few Level 1 Sky Rank magical beasts first...
"Let’s fall back first. This Dark Night Phoenix’s aura is at least twice as strong as last time. We’ll take out these stupid magical beasts first, and when only the Phoenix is left, we’ll finish it off!"
Gaolsposi spoke gravely, and everyone gasped. On the human side, the Sky Ranks looked shocked, and even Lin Yun couldn’t help but furrow his brow.
Twice as strong...
It doesn’t sound like much, but that’s based on its original Level 2 Sky Rank strength. If you double a hundred, it’s not much, but if you double a million or a hundred billion, the gap becomes utterly despairing.
No one argued with Gaolsposi. They all began to retreat, fighting as they fell back, withdrawing over two thousand meters. The Dark Night Phoenix’s extraordinary aura suppressed them much less, and in the fighting retreat, they slew more than a dozen pseudo-Sky Rank beasts.
Suddenly, the Dark Night Phoenix—silent until now—lifted its head. Its layered wings slowly unfolded, and a scorching aura began to spread. Everyone felt as if a fire was burning inside their hearts—a heat that came from deep within.
"Hurry and take out those pseudo-Sky Rank beasts and the Level 1 Sky Rank magical beasts! That damned Dark Night Phoenix is about to join the fight!"
Didala, most sensitive to the aura of flame, shouted urgently.
A torrent of wild flames burst forth. Didala controlled three fireballs, unleashing the strongest fire he could muster. The three types of flame formed a storm, crashing fiercely toward several magical beasts radiating icy frost.
In an instant, fourteen Sky Rank powerhouses unleashed their most formidable attacks.
On the orc side, pale golden Battle Qi transformed into giant swords that slashed down, scarlet light became a rain of Battle Qi needles, and abyssal power condensed into smoky demon heads that charged downward.
On the human side, fire, frost, hurricane, earth, light, and darkness—all spells mixed together to form a raging torrent of destruction, relentlessly crashing down on the twenty or so remaining pseudo-Sky Rank magical beasts.
The torrent of destruction swept over and over, abandoning the idea of retreat and slow attrition. Now, everyone was unleashing their full strength.
The remaining pseudo-Sky Rank beasts were drowned one after another by the torrent of destruction. Within seconds, without the Dark Night Phoenix’s support and suppression, over a dozen pseudo-Sky Rank beasts were swiftly slain.
The last few Sky Rank magical beasts were surrounded and attacked by more than a dozen true Sky Ranks. Having pent-up rage, they needed only a few seconds to turn these Sky Rank beasts into corpses.
At the Alchemical Array, the Dark Night Phoenix spread its wings but didn’t leave the formation. It seemed to know that once it left, reclaiming it wouldn’t be so easy.
With all its magical beasts wiped out, the Dark Night Phoenix furiously unfurled its wings, beating its massive wings—each spanning over a kilometer—violently.
Black-blue flames blazed on its wings, and with a single beat, those flames mixed with a fierce wind, transforming into a black-blue tsunami stretching thousands of meters wide, roaring toward the humans.
Flame and wind—the purest of powers—erupted with force rivaling a large-scale extraordinary spell.
On the ground, the corpses of those pseudo-Sky Rank beasts—each like a small mountain—were swept up by the roaring flames and wind as if they were leaves caught in a storm.
Corpses, dozens of meters tall, were lifted one after another into the air, sucked into the flames and wind, ignited in an instant, and then shredded by the raging gales—like endless wind blades tearing through them—until they were reduced to fragments in the blink of an eye.
Those fragments were set ablaze, turning to ash, while the fire within the wind grew even more wild, scorching, and savage.
The corpses of dozens of pseudo-Sky Rank beasts were torn apart and reduced to ash. Watching this scene from afar, everyone found it hard even to breathe.

This terrifying power was like a true Elemental Tsunami, two to three hundred meters tall and thousands of meters wide—there was simply no way to dodge it.
It was a genuine disaster. Don’t be fooled by the Elemental Tsunami’s height of only two or three hundred meters—even hiding thousands of meters in the air wouldn’t help you.
When the Elemental Tsunami swept through, it devoured all elements along its path. Every bit of elemental energy was assimilated and became wildly chaotic.
Especially where the crest of the Elemental Tsunami struck, it would even create an elemental collapse zone, tearing everything above it down. Spells like Flight and Levitation were absolutely useless here.
Only by holding your ground and facing it head-on was there any chance of survival.
That was a true disaster feared by all living things across every plane. The Endless Sea is considered the most dangerous region in Northend World precisely because Elemental Tsunamis are commonplace there.
If your luck’s a little bad, you might encounter one in just a few days.
And the scene before them was no different from a real Elemental Tsunami...
On the human side, six Sky Ranks immediately landed and began chanting spells, setting up defenses.
Didala led the Mages of the Tower of Burning, conjuring a massive shield-shaped wall of flames.
Raphael, with the Mages of Sky City, used floating fortresses to assemble a small Alchemical Array over ten meters wide...
Lin Yun stood at the center of the Mage Legion, frowning, as the Legion began chanting a united formation spell for a protective barrier. As they chanted, Lin Yun continuously spat out rule runes, embedding them into the flames.
The flames transformed into spirals, forming a massive spiral maze within dozens of meters. Anyone trying to reach its center would have to follow the spirals, circling endlessly—potentially traveling thousands of meters before reaching the heart.
Lin Yun and his people waited quietly in the center of the spiral, awaiting the coming tsunami of flames.
On the other side, the orcs gathered together, each planting a giant sword into the ground. The glow of Battle Qi shone, and every orc tribe’s Battle Qi merged, forming huge hemispheres that shielded everyone inside...
Four seconds later, the Elemental Tsunami—a roaring mix of black-blue flames and wind—came crashing in.
Corpses of magical beasts, rocks, fragments—everything swept in vanished without a trace. This wild force engulfed everything, yet not a sound could be heard; sound couldn’t travel at all, as the air was sucked away and mana devoured...
In utter silence, the Elemental Tsunami unleashed by the Dark Night Phoenix collided with everyone’s defenses.
The Tower of Burning’s flame shield was rapidly tainted, its crimson fire turning blue-black. Once the massive shield was fully assimilated, the Tower’s mages could no longer control it.
Didala summoned an elemental vortex, frantically spewing elemental fire to replenish the giant shield. If the shield was assimilated before the tsunami passed, everyone but Didala would likely be burned alive...
Sky City’s Alchemical Array radiated a blinding light, acting like a steep ramp on the ground, directing the wind and flames skyward. Their array’s power was pushed to the limit, even borrowing strength from the floating fortress. In less than three seconds, one fortress’s mana source was destroyed from overuse...
On the Henry family’s side, Morgan directly cast a Gate of Darkness, channeling the fire and wind into a world of shadow. Furious roars echoed from within, and cracks spread across the gate, threatening to shatter at any moment.
Sweating profusely, Morgan kept tossing out magic scrolls and alchemical potions to ease the pressure on the Gate of Darkness.
Elsewhere, Joey’s Starfield Barrier and Helen’s Dark Space were struggling to hold on—their defenses could collapse at any moment.
