You Are the One Who Owes Money

They walked into the campus of North Hill Aviation University.

Will Han still felt like he was dreaming.

He pinched himself—ouch, that hurt. So it wasn’t a dream.

Then Will turned around and glanced at the Rolls-Royce trailing behind them.

The black car gleamed in the sunlight, reflecting streaks of light.

With that brand, that vibe—wherever it goes, it’s always a scene-stealer.

"Is that car yours?"

Will looked at Evan Lin and asked carefully.

"It’s someone else’s. Just borrowed it for a bit."

Evan shook his head. He didn’t even know whose car it was, but honestly, it didn’t matter.

Just after he finished the call, everything that needed arranging would be handled by someone.

With Leon Zheng’s connections, even though this isn’t Oceanport but North Hill, anything he wants done can be done.

The Zheng family used to be weak, sure—but Evan Lin has already brought them up several levels.

These days, if any top businessperson from out of town wants to do business in Oceanport, Leon Zheng is definitely one of the first people they think of for connections.

"Damn, that’s awesome! Totally epic!"

Will Han was fired up: "Last time we came here, people looked down on us and wanted us gone."

"Today feels so good. You should’ve seen that security guard’s face at the end—it was black as coal!"

Will looked completely satisfied and gave Hank Chu a hard slap on the back.

Hank’s face also relaxed a lot. He’d finally worked up the courage and made a big entrance, but almost didn’t even get through the gate.

If he’d been turned away just like that, Hank probably wouldn’t have forgotten it for the rest of his life.

"Evan, doing it like this—are you sure it won’t cause any trouble?"

Hank looked at Evan, worried that he might bring Evan unnecessary trouble.

"If anything happens, it won’t come back on me. Relax, it’s fine."

Hearing Evan say that, Hank finally let go of his worries.

Compared to North Hill University of Science and Technology, North Hill Aviation University’s facilities and environment were on a whole other level.

"Where’s Julie Chu?"

Evan looked around. He didn’t know Julie Chu, let alone what she looked like, so sending the Female Wraith to find her wasn’t realistic.

"Let’s wait for her downstairs at the girls’ dorm."

Hank checked his phone and said, "I just texted her—she said she’ll be back at the dorm soon."

On the way, they asked a few people for directions, then headed toward the girls’ dorm once they figured out where it was.

On the way, as they passed the classroom building, they spotted a big conference room packed wall-to-wall with people.

Looked like everyone was there for some lecture or a guest speaker event.

After wandering around for a bit, they quickly found the girls’ dorm.

Downstairs at the dorm, Hank Chu in his suit definitely caught the eyes of a few girls passing by.

Will Han was holding Evan’s phone; on the other end, Queenie Tong and Yvette Locke were munching apples and watching the action.

When the Rolls-Royce smashed through the barrier earlier, both of them were dying to teleport over and join in the fun.

They were also seriously annoyed at the security guards’ arrogant attitude.

Hank kept glancing at his phone, looking super nervous—his heart was racing, his palms were sweaty, and he kept scanning the area, searching for that familiar figure.

Before long—

“Hank Chu!”

A voice rang out.

Evan turned toward the voice and saw a pretty figure running over from not far away.

She wasn’t short—looked about 1.67 meters tall, with a bit of baby fat that gave her a cute vibe.

She was pretty, definitely a standout in the aviation university’s flight attendant major, but compared to Queenie Tong, Yvette Locke, or Lily Zhao, she was on a different level.

Julie Chu had originally been walking back toward the dorms with a group of girls, plus a few boys.

But spotting Hank Chu, Julie broke away from the group and jogged over alone.

Julie Chu.

Hank saw her and greeted her with a smile.

That’s Julie Chu—she’s the class flower of their year. I saw tons of confession posts about her on the school forum, but most ended in failure.

Will Han whispered to Evan Lin.

He said this for Evan Lin, but also for Queenie Tong and Yvette Locke watching the livestream on the other end of the phone.

Will Han was trying hard to say a few more words and get noticed.

"Why are you here? No class today?"

Julie Chu ran over, looking up at Hank Chu. Her eyes were smiling, curving into crescents.

"No class today."

Hank gave a goofy smile. All the words he’d prepared got stuck inside, and now he didn’t know what to say.

"Even with no class, you should rest. You work part-time every day—it must be exhausting."

Julie Chu looked genuinely concerned.

Evan Lin watched Julie Chu and felt a bit relieved.

At least from her words, the concern was real—not just for show.

Isn’t today your birthday? I got you a present—here.

Hank quickly pulled out a small square box from his pocket.

"What is it?" Julie Chu glanced at it.

"Earbuds—the newest wireless Bluetooth ones from Apple. You like music, right? These are more convenient."

"That must be expensive. Last time you gave me a phone, I felt bad enough, and now you’re giving me earbuds…"

Julie hesitated, “Maybe you should return them. I appreciate your kindness, but you keep giving me expensive things—it’s not right.”

Julie shook her head and pushed the earbuds back to Hank.

It was clear she liked the earbuds, even though Hank’s gifts were a bit too “guy-ish.”

Hey, you’re Hank Chu, right? The guy who borrowed money to buy Julie a phone, then couldn’t pay it back and got beaten up?

A discordant voice suddenly cut in.

The girls and boys who’d come with Julie Chu now walked over.

The lead boy stepped forward and stood beside Julie Chu.
