Antler Serpent Like Cutie Pie

Beanie stood nearby, a mischievous grin on its face.

Cutie Pie shot Beanie a sideways glance, then hopped onto Grace's shoulder and nuzzled her with its head.

Grace: "Acting cute won't work! From now on, you sleep by yourself! No more sneaking into my bed!"

Cutie Pie shook its head, its big eyes full of grievance.

Grace's heart softened instantly. "Just don't get jealous over silly things anymore! And don't mess up my big plans, got it?"

Cutie Pie nodded.

Grace patted its head and said, "Let's go! Time to meet up with Shannon."

After meeting up with Shannon, Grace took out the Frostbound Casket to show her.

It was real, no doubt about it.

Shannon either believed Grace could pull off magic tricks, or she'd already guessed something—she didn't ask any more questions.

She was only worried about Leon Zane, wondering why he hadn't come back yet.

Grace could tell Shannon wouldn't be at ease until she saw Leon Zane, so she asked Cutie Pie to lead them to him.

Cutie Pie agreed.

But as soon as they left the manor where they'd been hiding, Grace spotted a woman not far ahead.

The woman was holding a cage, standing in the open, waving at the sky.

Up above, a flying beast was slowly descending.

The woman spotted Grace too. Their eyes met, and both exclaimed at once, "It's you!"

The woman was none other than Rina Chu.

Leon Zane had knocked her out, and Grace had rescued her—yes, that Rina Chu.

"What a coincidence, running into you again!" Rina Chu said with a smile.

"That's right!" Grace's gaze fell on the cage in her hands. "What's inside that cage...?"

Rina Chu lifted the cage and brought it closer. "My new spirit pet," she said.

"An Antler Serpent with fur on its head!" Grace was thrilled. "This is the first time I've seen an Antler Serpent just like Cutie Pie!"

"Cutie Pie?" Rina Chu looked confused.

"This one right here!" Grace took out Cutie Pie and placed it in front of her. "This is my spirit pet, its name is Cutie Pie! Look, isn't it just like yours, with fur on its head?"

Rina Chu glanced at her, realized she wasn't joking, and suddenly burst out laughing—a sound as clear as silver bells.

"Why are you laughing?" Grace asked, puzzled.

"It's nothing, really! I just think the name you gave him is adorable. It suits him perfectly!"

"Right?" Grace patted Cutie Pie's head. "What's your Antler Serpent's name?"

"I just caught this Antler Serpent a few days ago, so I haven't named it yet!" Rina Chu replied.

"Really?" Grace asked. "Where did you catch it?"

"Right outside my place."

"Huh? Mine too!" Grace felt like she'd discovered a pattern. "Looks like this type of Antler Serpent loves being around people!"

"Hmm... maybe so..."

"But they're super strong biters. That cage probably won't hold!" Grace eyed the flimsy, birdcage-like thing. "You need a Spirit Binding Rope."

"This isn't just any cage—it's got a spell formation on it!" Rina Chu said. "There's no way he'll escape!"

"Oh, I see!" Grace nodded.

At that moment, Rina Chu's flying beast landed. Grace asked her, "Miss Chu, where are you headed?"

"I'm heading back to Yan City. What about you all?"

"We—"

"We're heading to Yan City too," Shannon chimed in. "Grace, why don't we travel together with Miss Chu?"

Her cousin had actually ended up with this woman! Of course Shannon wanted to travel with her.
