"Lily, what's wrong?" Ryan Ling froze, startled. Lily Liu was always tough—she'd never cry like this, not even at her lowest. But now her eyes were swollen, like something terrible had happened.
"I just took a nap and had a horrible nightmare. I dreamed—you died, and it was awful. That's why I... wuwuwu!" Lily sobbed again, crying her heart out. The sound was heartbreakingly miserable.
"Dummy, it was just a dream! It's not real!" Ryan said, trying to push Lily away. But she wouldn't let go, clinging to him tightly—and even started acting cute.
"No, I'm still scared. My heart's pounding like crazy—if you don't believe me, feel it!" Lily said, and without caring whether Ryan agreed, she grabbed his hand and pressed it right to her chest.
Ryan's heart skipped a beat—he instantly felt a soft, squishy sensation.
"Lily, let go—let go! This isn't good!" There were a lot of people around, so Ryan quickly struggled free.
"Hmph, you don't want me as your big sister anymore anyway!" Seeing Ryan act like that, Lily immediately got mad.
"Who said I didn't? Even if I ditched everyone else in the world, I wouldn't ditch you, sis. Alright, let's go!" Ryan replied, exasperated.
"No way! You have to walk me back. I want you to walk me, or I'm not moving!" Lily kept acting cute, stubbornly clinging to him.
"Alright, you win!" Ryan shook his head, having no choice but to walk Lily back.
But as soon as Ryan walked her to her room, Lily suddenly grabbed him and said, "Last time at the love hotel, we didn't finish what we started. Let's pick up where we left off—tonight!"
"Uh—" Ryan froze. He wanted to say that last time was just a moment of drunken impulse, and Lily had been drinking, so maybe it should just be left in the past. How could they just 'continue' now?
But Lily seemed to see right through him. She pouted, all worked up: "Hmph! You—going after one girl after another, and in the Provincial Capital you even bagged the Chen Family sister-in-law! You think I don't know? You went after her, so why not me? Anyway, I don't care tonight. I'm really scared of losing you!"
As soon as Lily finished, she hugged Ryan and dragged him into the room. She didn't care about anything else—she just pushed him down on the bed and kissed him.
Right then, Jason Lin, Warren Yuan, Harvey "Million" Jin and the others happened to stroll past outside, stopping right by the door to smoke and casually chat about tomorrow's victory banquet and some martial arts stuff.
"Lily, stop—stop! There are people outside! What if they hear us?" Ryan hurriedly hugged her, trying to get her to stop.
But Lily just giggled, excited: "Isn't that even more thrilling? Come on, I can't hold back anymore!"
Lily didn't bother with any foreplay—she just went straight for it, and the whole bed started shaking like crazy.
"Damn, she's wild!" Ryan instantly got into it, moving fiercely. Lily wanted to cry out from the pain, but instinctively covered her mouth so no one would hear. Tears streamed down her face—it was clear that when Ryan went all out, he didn't exactly go easy on her.
......
After a night of passion, the next morning Lily Liu had the same problem as Rose Yates—she could barely walk to the bathroom from the pain. But she just grinned like an idiot, as if her biggest dream had come true.
Morning sunlight streamed into the Chen Family estate, which was filled with joy and festivity—lanterns everywhere, like it was New Year's. Luxury cars lined the entrance, clearly ready to escort Ryan and his crew to the Special Warfare Unit camp for the victory banquet. This celebration had been planned for over a month: after retaking Shark-Hook Island, then wiping out the Mitsui Group, they'd pulled out the biggest cancer in all of Jiangdong. That was a huge achievement, so Gabriel Xue made sure this banquet was extra grand.
His whole plan was to put pressure on Commander Victor Tang, while inviting all the Provincial Capital's elite and tycoons to maximize the public spotlight. Only then would it work. By now he knew all about Victor Tang's ties to the Azure Dragon Society—Victor was dead set on rescuing Grand Elder Walter Gu and the others, but Gabriel Xue wasn't about to let him succeed.
"Ryan, all the vehicles are ready—we can head out anytime!" Jinbiao Chen was like a personal butler, greeting them at the door. Jason Lin, Warren Yuan, Harvey "Million" Jin and the rest of the brothers were all dressed to the nines, looking like grooms—handsome as could be. Even Zombie Qin Feng looked like a total heartthrob. On the other side, Sophie Su, Lily Liu, Angie Chen, Qianqian Sun, Rose Yates—all the girls were dolled up like a cheer squad. Even Lily Yan and all the Jinling heiresses showed up, clearly set on making Ryan their mentor and refusing to let go.
"Thank you, Uncle Chen!" Ryan nodded to Jinbiao Chen, then didn't hesitate any longer. Everyone was clearly impatient—the day they'd been waiting for, fighting and sacrificing for their country, was finally here. Their moment of glory had arrived. To make it even more special, Gabriel Xue had custom-made huge honor medals to personally award every anti-Japanese fighter. The whole scene was absolutely spectacular.
"Brothers, our moment of glory is here—let's go!" Ryan didn't hesitate; it was time to enjoy the spotlight. He waved his arm, and all the brothers shouted and piled into the cars. The girls insisted on riding with Ryan, and in a stretch Cadillac, he was surrounded by flowers—happier than ever.
The motorcade rolled out, heading for the Provincial Capital stadium. Gabriel Xue had originally wanted it at the army camp, but that felt too small, so he moved it to the biggest stadium. That way, the event would be even bigger, and the media coverage would be overwhelming. Just the red carpet alone covered all six stadium entrances and spilled out onto the street—clearly, the Chen Family had spent a fortune.

As the cars rolled along, cheers and applause filled the air—the anti-Japanese victory had clearly electrified the whole city.
"Looks like Commander Xue really knows how to hype things up. What was supposed to be a simple victory party is turning into a city-wide celebration—now that's impressive!"
"Totally! This is huge—everyone's talking about it. I don't see how the Azure Dragon Society can survive this. Their reputation's trashed, they're basically finished. Just thinking about it feels awesome!"
"Exactly. The Azure Dragon Society's a giant, but now they're about to fall. It's a great day for everyone—who knows how much shady stuff they've done? It's about time they got what's coming!"
......
Inside the car, the girls chatted excitedly, looking like celebrities. Lily Yan was even more in awe of Ryan Ling now—her eyes sparkled with admiration.
Today, all of Jiangdong belonged to them—everything else had to step aside!
Ryan was all smiles, feeling especially content inside.
Of course, none of them realized that right then, Dragon-Head Aaron Zhao and the full Six-Void-Realm Alliance were already gathered at a teahouse near the stadium, sipping green tea and looking like tourists. No one could tell they were top-tier martial artists—the teahouse owner was even joking around with them, telling stories about Jiangdong and cracking jokes that had everyone laughing.
Meanwhile, Grand Elder Walter Gu was leading the Azure Dragon Society, splitting up and surrounding the area. Almost everyone in the Society was mobilized, secretly locking down the entire perimeter. On the other side, Commander Victor Tang had his Special Warfare Unit loyalists fully prepared. Even they couldn't believe it—at such a massive celebration, they were about to slaughter everyone.
"The heroes are here! Our heroes have arrived—everyone, salute!" As the cars rolled in, Gabriel Xue shouted at the stadium entrance. Instantly, the soldiers lined up on both sides raised their hands in salute.
"Dragon-Head's here!" Grand Elder Walter Gu reported immediately.
