Violent Police Beauty

Finally, at 9:50, Ian Song arrived at the entrance of the sports arena.

Zhen Yun had been waiting anxiously at the gate. As soon as she saw him, she hurried over, grabbed his arm, and said, "Ian, come with me quickly! All the major media outlets are waiting to interview you!"

Ian loved being interviewed—after all, it helped him build up his fame points.

"Woo-woo-woo!"

Just then, a piercing sound rang out. Ian turned around and immediately felt a pang of dread—it was that female traffic cop chasing after him.

"Sister Zhen, let's go!"

Ian urged her, grabbing Zhen Yun and rushing toward the arena.

But the female traffic cop was even faster. Her police motorcycle sped over and stopped just three meters away. With crisp, practiced movements, she jumped off the bike and, in a flash, blocked Ian's path—her actions so smooth it was as if she'd rehearsed them countless times.

Stella Shi stared coldly at Ian, gritting her teeth as she said, "Sir, please show your driver's license, vehicle registration, and ID card."

Ian's heart skipped a beat—he hadn't expected this female traffic cop to be so relentless.

"Officer, may I ask what the problem is?" Zhen Yun asked suspiciously.

"He was speeding, and when I tried to stop him, he deliberately evaded me. That's a serious offense!" Stella Shi sneered. If she weren't a traffic cop right now, with her temper from the criminal police squad, she would have slapped this kid twice already—he was way too bold, daring to mess with her.

When she heard Ian had been speeding, Zhen Yun realized it was because she'd urged him to hurry. So she said to Stella Shi, "Officer, could you make an exception? The media are all waiting to interview Ian. How about we handle this at the traffic bureau after the competition? We'll pay any fines, I promise!"

"Hmph!" Stella Shi scoffed. "Don't try to fool me with talk of the media." Then she barked at Ian, "Quit stalling and hand over your documents! You dared to speed right in front of me—you're dead meat!"

At that moment, Zhen Yun's phone rang.

"Officer, could you wait a moment? I need to take this call."

The call was from Maggie Ma. As soon as Zhen Yun answered, Maggie's impatient voice came through: "Zhen Yun, Ian still isn't here? The media people are all getting tired of waiting!"

Zhen Yun replied with a wry smile, "Chairwoman, Ian is already at the arena gate, but he's run into a bit of trouble! I pushed him too hard, so he sped—and now a traffic cop chased him here..."

Before Zhen Yun could finish, Maggie Ma cut her off, saying, "Wait for me there, I'll be right out!"

Soon, Maggie Ma herself appeared at the entrance of the sports arena.

"Ian, this is Chairwoman Ma from the Piano Association," Zhen Yun introduced, pointing to the dignified, graceful middle-aged woman, about forty years old.

"Hello, Chairwoman Ma!" Ian quickly greeted her.

Maggie Ma nodded, then said to Stella Shi, "Officer, I'm the wife of Vice Mayor Kevin Wang. I'm very sorry about Ian's speeding, but we really have an urgent event right now. I hope you can make an exception. Once it's over, I'll personally bring Ian to the traffic bureau to handle it. What do you think?"

Hearing Maggie Ma invoke the vice mayor's name to pressure her, Stella Shi felt extremely uncomfortable. With her strong sense of justice—and still holding a grudge over Ian's earlier antics—she replied coldly, "Even if the mayor broke traffic laws, I'd still process him. Hurry up and show your documents!"

The last sentence was aimed at Ian.

Hearing Stella Shi's blunt words, Maggie Ma, already in a bad mood, flared up: "How dare a mere traffic cop talk to me like that? I'll call Victor Huang right now!"

Victor Huang is the deputy chief of the city police bureau, in charge of traffic.

At this point, Ian spoke up: "Chairwoman Ma, please don't get upset."

Then Ian turned to Stella Shi: "Officer, I admit I was wrong to speed. I have a performance to give here—how about you come in with me, and as soon as I'm done, I'll go with you to the traffic bureau. You can handle it however you see fit, is that okay?"

"Enough talking. Show me your documents, or don't blame me for using force!" Stella Shi remained unmoved, her tone icy.

"Fine! Very well! Are you, a lowly traffic cop, trying to turn the world upside down?" Maggie Ma was shaking with anger and started dialing Victor Huang.

The call connected quickly, and Victor Huang was surprised to hear Maggie Ma's voice.

Soon, Maggie Ma explained the whole situation, leaving Victor Huang with a headache. Stella Shi was notorious in the Riverstone police department—a violent police beauty, famous for solving cases fast but also for her explosive temper and heavy-handed tactics.

Still, Stella Shi had a considerable background. Even though she made frequent mistakes, she only ever received verbal warnings.

Just the other day, while arresting a suspect, she broke his leg—and that suspect turned out to be a city leader's relative. Chief Murong had no choice but to transfer her to the traffic division to cool off for a while.

Who would have thought, on her very first day, she'd already provoked the vice mayor's wife? And Maggie Ma wasn't even abusing her power—she'd promised to personally handle the matter after the event, fines or detention included.

But Stella Shi was just that stubborn, refusing to compromise, and had driven Maggie Ma to call Victor Huang out of sheer frustration.

"Sister Ma, please don't be angry. Could you hand the phone to Stella Shi? I'll talk to her myself!"

With a cold face, Maggie Ma handed the phone to Stella Shi. "It's your chief calling."

"Sorry, I'm currently on duty. To enforce the law strictly, I won't accept any personal pleas!" Stella Shi said, her tone icy.

Stella Shi's voice was loud enough for Victor Huang to hear, and his face instantly turned dark. He shouted into the phone, "Stella Shi, as chief, I'm relieving you of your duties. Report back to headquarters immediately!"

"Sorry, Chief Huang. Unless you issue a formal written order, you have no right to interfere with my law enforcement!" Stella Shi replied coldly, then glared fiercely at Ian Song. "Show me your documents, and don't test my patience!"

Faced with this utterly unyielding tigress, Ian could only admit the truth: "Officer, I don't have a driver's license yet!"

"What? No license? That's an even more serious offense! Come with me to the traffic division right now!" As she spoke, Stella Shi reached out to grab Ian's shoulder.

"Stop right there!"

Maggie Ma was nearly driven mad with anxiety. If Ian was taken away, how could she possibly explain to the media and the audience? Nearly twenty thousand people had come just to see Ian perform—if he couldn't go on stage, the whole event would erupt into chaos!
