Without Holding Back

Suddenly, Ian Song's gaze landed on the red fish bones still lying on the beach, not yet cleaned away. Could the red fish be to blame?

Seeing this, Lyra sat down beside him and said gently, "Ian, sleep with your head on my lap. It'll be more comfortable."

"It's nothing. I was just thinking about when we'll finally find a way to leave this place," Ian replied softly.

"Ian, I'm sorry. I hid something from you—are you angry with me?" Suddenly, Lyra Hale looked at Ian nervously.

"Of course not. No matter what you've done, Lyra, I'll always forgive you."

Women are always most defenseless against sweet words.

So, when she heard Ian's words, Lyra Hale was both touched and guilty. "Actually, Ian, inviting you to Penglai Island this time was Dominic Donghuang's plot. He's already joined forces with Gerald Jiang of Sea God Hall, and they've set a deadly net there. As soon as you step on Penglai Island, they'll try to kill you."

"You told me all this—aren't you afraid Donghuang will blame you?"

"I'm not tired, Ian."

"Ian, I just don't want anything bad to happen to you," Lyra said firmly, her expression full of resolve.

"My sweet Lyra, let me love you even more." Ian grinned mischievously, lowered his head, and kissed Lyra's soft lips. Last time, after eating the red fish, he'd lost his senses and only cared about venting, so naturally it was less enjoyable.

So, after another round of intimate fun, Ian said to Lyra, "Lyra, I've made up my mind. Tomorrow, we're leaving this little island."

An hour later, after their passionate encounter, both Ian and Lyra got dressed.

"Ian, do you think we'll die on this deserted island?" Lyra lay in Ian's arms, sounding a little sad. Having just discovered the joys of being together, she really wanted more time with Ian. But she knew that if they couldn't find a new water source, both she and Ian would die.

"Heaven never seals off all roads. There will be a way." Ian stroked Lyra's hair and spoke softly.

Is there really a way out? Ian wondered.

Ian really didn't know. There wasn't a second island within ten thousand li—he had to admit, this was truly a rotten situation.

Just like that, a few more days passed.

"Ian, you rest first. I'll keep watch for you," Lyra said with concern. Ian hadn't rested much these past few days, and he looked exhausted.

After these days of intimacy, Ian could clearly feel that Lyra's feelings for him had grown even deeper.

Pointing to a gourd-shaped island, she said, "Ian, that's Gourd Island. Two hundred li west of there is Penglai Island."

So, after another round of intimate fun, Ian said to Lyra, "Lyra, I've made up my mind. Tomorrow, we're leaving this little island."

"Ian, did you find another island?" Lyra asked, a little excited.

Ian gently shook his head. "Not yet. But we can use the trees on the island to build a wooden raft. I can store the raft in the Storage Ring, and when my energy runs out, I'll release the raft and rest on it."

"I'll do whatever you say, Ian." Lyra said without hesitation.

"Alright, let's go make the raft then."

An hour later, Ian and Lyra finished making a wooden raft that could fit inside the Storage Ring.

After storing the raft in the Storage Ring, Ian released his bronze flying sword, held Lyra close, and stepped onto the sword, soaring into the sky.

Out of caution, Ian didn't wait until both dantians were completely drained before releasing the raft.

Seeing Ian insist, Lyra had no choice but to close her eyes. As she breathed, she could smell Ian's scent, which soothed her and made her feel safe.

Thanks to the abundance of spiritual energy in this world, he recovered his strength in less than two hours. Then, he put the raft back in the Storage Ring and continued flying.

They traveled like this for five days.

By now, Ian and Lyra were tens of thousands of li from the original island. At last, they found another island.

Compared to the previous island, this one was much larger.

The island was covered in dense jungle, and the occasional roar of beasts echoed from within. Where there are wild animals, there must be freshwater.

Food was no longer a problem for Ian—there were plenty of fish in the sea. What he lacked most was freshwater. As long as they had enough drinking water, they could survive.

With a thought, Ian activated his Clairvoyant Vision and scanned the jungle. He found that there were indeed many wild beasts on the island, most of which he had never seen before.

"Lyra, let's rest for a bit. Once we've recovered, we'll go into the island to look for water." Ian said, withdrawing his gaze.

"Ian, you rest first. I'll keep watch for you." Lyra said with concern. Ian hadn't rested much these past few days, and he looked exhausted.

Pointing to a gourd-shaped island, she said, "Ian, that's Gourd Island. Two hundred li west of there is Penglai Island."

Ian didn't stand on ceremony—he simply lay down on the beach.

Seeing this, Lyra sat down beside him and said gently, "Ian, sleep with your head on my lap. It'll be more comfortable."

Ian certainly wouldn't refuse Lyra's kindness. He rested his head on her lap, and soon, his steady snoring could be heard.

Several hours later.

When Ian woke up, he found a pair of hands gently combing through his hair. He opened his eyes to see Lyra smiling softly, her eyes full of tenderness and affection.

At that moment, Ian felt his heart tremble fiercely.

"Ian, did I wake you?" Lyra asked apologetically when she saw Ian open his eyes.

"Of course not, I've rested enough. Your turn to rest, Lyra." Without waiting for her reply, Ian sat up and pulled Lyra into his arms.

"I'm not tired, Ian."

"Be good, go to sleep." Ian said sternly.

Seeing Ian insist, Lyra had no choice but to close her eyes. As she breathed, she could smell Ian's scent, which made her feel at peace.

When Lyra woke up, Ian asked her to wait on the beach while he flew over the island on his sword, using Clairvoyant Vision to search for freshwater.

Soon, he found a clear freshwater lake in the center of the island.

It had to be said—this was good news.

Hovering over the lake, Ian reached out and grabbed, drawing large amounts of water directly into the Storage Ring.

The Storage Ring is gravity-free, so even though there are many things inside, storing the lake water doesn't get anything else wet.

Ian filled all the remaining space in the Storage Ring with lake water, then flew once around the island.

There were at least ten thousand wild beasts on the island, but he didn't find anything special, so he returned to the beach, picked up Lyra, and continued on their journey.

Two days passed.

More and more islands appeared on the sea, and Lyra seemed to have discovered something.

Pointing to a gourd-shaped island, she said, "Ian, that's Gourd Island. Two hundred li west of there is Penglai Island."

"We're actually near Penglai Island?"

Ian was stunned for a moment, then landed with Lyra on Gourd Island. He knew they had to go to Penglai Island, but before that, he needed to make careful plans.
