Mrs. Zhang was reminding Lydia Lin that no matter how close Charles Yin was to her, the role of Mrs. Yin still belonged to Cecilia Gu!

The person Mrs. Yin currently favors is Cecilia Gu, not Lydia Lin!

Without Mrs. Yin's approval, no one could ever set foot inside the Yin Family's home!

Cecilia Gu nodded and ignored Lydia Lin, turning to head back into the house.

As soon as Cecilia Gu walked in, a maid immediately brought her a glass of juice.

Before Cecilia could take it, Lydia Lin snatched the juice and drank it in one go.

Mrs. Zhang and the maid were both stunned by Lydia Lin's behavior!

How shameless!

“This juice is pretty good. I like it!” Lydia Lin handed the empty glass back to the maid and said, “I have high standards for my quality of life, so you’d better work hard. Otherwise, you might just lose your jobs! I’m a little tired now. Where’s Charles’s room? I want to rest!”

What? She even wants to go to his room?

Even Cecilia Gu couldn't keep her temper in check anymore.

"Lydia Lin, don't you think you owe me an explanation about your medical records?" Cecilia said coldly. "Weren't you supposed to have cancer? Why aren't you in the hospital? What are you doing here instead?"

"Hehehe..." Lydia Lin immediately stepped up to Cecilia, brushing away the messy strands of hair from Cecilia's face. She whispered in Cecilia's ear, "Why do you think you're so naive? I betrayed you once and you still haven't learned. If I don't lie to you, who else would I lie to? You're so easy to fool—just one little lie and your saintly heart kicks in. If I didn't trick you, I wouldn't be able to live with myself! Hahaha! You really are hopelessly innocent!"

It was one thing to hear it from Rona Muir, but hearing Lydia Lin say it herself was something else entirely.

Cecilia gently closed her eyes, silently reminding herself over and over: Don't get angry. Don't get angry!

For the sake of her child, she absolutely could not lose her temper!

Yes, she was foolish.

Seeing Lydia Lin kneel before her, she couldn't help but soften.

She deserved to be deceived.

Lydia Lin, well played.
