Jiang Family Hot Spring Villa

Cecilia Gu was genuinely stunned when she received an invitation from Mrs. Jiang.

Not only did Mrs. Jiang personally send the invitation to Cecilia, she also sent a message: Help Helen Jiang pick a husband!

Cecilia was left speechless for a long time. When she called Charles Yin to complain, Charles just chuckled, "Sure, Aunt's Jiang Hot Springs Resort isn't a place just anyone can go. Since she's opened the doors, you should go and enjoy yourself. Helen Jiang really does need to get married—if she stays at home, sooner or later something will happen."

And just like that, Cecilia was sent off by the whole family to Mrs. Jiang's private property—Jiang Hot Springs Resort.

Emma Yin somehow found out Henry Shaw's real identity. When she learned that Henry Shaw was Charles Yin's chief assistant and had been temporarily assigned to protect Cecilia, she started hanging around the Yin house more often.

Unfortunately, as the third-generation female head of the Yin Family, Cecilia naturally had a lot of social obligations.

And those obligations were definitely out of Emma Yin's league.

So, for several days in a row, Emma Yin couldn't catch Cecilia at all.

When Emma Yin heard the Jiang Family had invited Cecilia to the Jiang Hot Springs Resort, she did everything she could—using Helen Jiang as her connection—to shamelessly tag along.

Of course, her real reason for coming was anything but innocent.

Cecilia settled onto the plush car seat, fingers curled around a glass of water, sipping slowly, her face full of helplessness. Henry Shaw watched her for a long moment before finally breaking the silence.

"If Mr. Yin asked you to do something, he must have his reasons," Henry said, his tone stiff as ever.

Cecilia gave a bitter little nod. "Mm."

Honestly, who's the boss and who's the assistant here?

She'd never met an assistant who treated their boss like this!

But Cecilia was used to it by now.

After all, every time she'd been in danger, Henry was the one who saved her.

Sigh. When someone feeds you, you can't complain; when someone helps you, you feel guilty, right?

"Don't worry. As long as I'm here, nobody's going to hurt you," Henry added, still gruff.

Cecilia glanced at Henry—he was such a big, burly guy, even his words of comfort sounded tough.
