Abyssal Hell 10

A sinister giggle echoed through the vast cavern. By now, John Chou and his two companions had already approached Yuna Ji. Yuna sat atop a pile of skeletons, covering her mouth with one hand as she let out that eerie laugh, her excitement palpable.

"Your safety is now in my hands."

"Hmph, what's so great about that? It was just a coincidence. Besides, we were the ones who gave you our Ghost Aura."

Redmond snapped, but Yuna Ji immediately waved her hand. A nearby skeleton stepped forward, opened its mouth, and suddenly spat out a stream of black mist—Ghost Aura. In an instant, John Chou and his two companions absorbed the Ghost Aura, and their translucent bodies quickly regained solidity.

"I have as much Ghost Aura as you could ever want. I can repay you a hundredfold, a thousandfold. Redmond, with that attitude of yours, should I even bother helping you?"

Before long, Basil Bertram, Yvonne May, and the sleeping Mona Ouyang descended as well. All three were stunned by the situation. They, too, replenished Yuna Ji's Ghost Aura. The skeleton that had supplied the Ghost Aura was now white in many places—apparently, once its stored Ghost Aura overflowed, it would return to normal. But now, every skeleton had become one of Yuna Ji's soldiers.

This was something the Ghost Sovereigns had never expected—Yuna Ji's hidden power was finally coming into play at this critical moment.

"Come down, you wretch. Let's discuss things outside the cave—unless you plan to stay here forever?"

John Chou glared at Yuna Ji in annoyance. She stuck out her tongue playfully and made a face. After climbing down from the skeletons, the seven Ghost Sovereigns drifted toward the cave entrance. Soon, all seven were outside.

"Yuna Ji, I remember you used to control skeletons by channeling Ghost Aura through your ghost threads. But this skeleton is different."

John Chou spoke as Yuna Ji scratched her head.

I'm not really sure what happened. Just now, a voice in my head told me I was the king and they were my subjects, so I could control them.

I stared in astonishment. It seemed the Ghost Sovereigns' instincts hadn't fully awakened yet—they knew they had special powers, but hadn't completely realized them.

Outside the cave, the swirling Ghost Aura could still be felt, as the Hell's enforcers continued their search.

There must be more places like this. The fact that our Ghost Aura is being absorbed means the Underworld Court has used some special method, found our remains, and stored them here.

No one knows how many places like this exist in Abyssal Hell, but at this moment, the Ghost Sovereigns all thought of the same thing.

Let's just take this place. As long as you can control these skeletons, Yuna Ji, we can easily deal with the Hell's enforcers.

Basil Bertram said, and all the Ghost Sovereigns nodded. Next, they would have to find more such underground caves. Abyssal Hell was filled with countless lost souls—no one knew the exact number, but it must be in the hundreds of thousands. The skeletons in this cave numbered only a few thousand.

After discussing everything, the Ghost Sovereigns returned to the cave. Their top priority now was to remove the Underworld Court's imprint from their bodies.

Wait a moment, Yuna Ji.
