Tearing Apart the Laws of Heaven and Earth

12/19/2025

"That's right, I am Joe Di. Is Garrett here?" Joe Di was growing irritated—he'd asked so clearly, yet this bastard still dodged the question.

"Your blade is impressive as well." Andrew King’s gaze fell on the Azure Veil Blade strapped to Joe Di’s back, still refusing to answer directly.

Joe Di despised this kind of evasive attitude. Without hesitation, he activated the law array flags he had prepared.

Joe Di’s divine sense swept clearly over Garrett and Quentin Pooler, both imprisoned above a massive incense burner, surrounded by intricate and mysterious restrictions.

Joe Di’s divine sense swept clearly over Garrett and Quentin Pooler, both imprisoned above a massive incense burner, surrounded by intricate and mysterious restrictions.

Andrew King stared dazedly at his once magnificent palace, now suddenly ruined. For a long moment, he couldn’t react. He kept thinking—how could this be possible?

His residence was surrounded by layers of protective arrays; for anyone to approach, let alone destroy the palace, was nothing short of a fantasy.

Andrew King was fully aware when Joe Di entered, yet he had no idea that Joe Di had shattered his palace right before his eyes.

"You destroyed my palace?" Andrew King finally snapped out of it. His palace was more than a place for rest and cultivation—it was linked to the altar, built with immense time, effort, and even the vitality of countless cultivators. To have it destroyed so easily—how could he not be both shocked and furious?

Joe Di stretched out his hand, and the Azure Veil Blade appeared in his palm. He spoke calmly, "What do you think? I asked you a few questions and you replied with sarcasm, making me extremely displeased. So, I went ahead and chopped down your palace. And soon, that stone trough you built—I'll smash that too."

"How did you do that?" Andrew King asked in a daze. This was simply outrageous. Not only was his mastery of array Dao at the pinnacle of this immortal domain, but nearly every inch of the ground beneath them was under his control.

Yet with everything under his control, Joe Di had shattered his palace. How could he not be shocked?

He had no knowledge of law array flags. Joe Di had already set up thousands in the area, able to summon a ninth-rank Immortal Killing Array at any moment.

As Joe Di reached out again, he effortlessly grabbed Garrett and Quentin Pooler from above the incense burner. The restrictions and law patterns around them were like mere decorations under his grasp.

Only after Garrett and Quentin Pooler landed beside Miles Phantom did Joe Di say calmly, "I just did it again. Did you see clearly this time?"

"Brother Joe..." Garrett finally recovered, his heart surging with joy at seeing Joe Di. He shouted out loud.

Joe Di actually already knew what it meant. Andrew King, this bastard, was clearly trying to refine the vitality and Dao of others to break through the Immortal Emperor realm and reach even higher levels.

No doubt, the man was a genius to have conceived such a method—and he’d nearly succeeded. Joe Di didn’t know how many innocent cultivators had died here, but he was certain Andrew King's cultivation had already surpassed the Immortal Emperor level.

Andrew King murmured, "Such profound mastery of the rules of heaven and earth. Perhaps you alone are enough..."

He finally sensed Joe Di’s technique—a supreme understanding and application of the cosmic rules.

As he spoke, the ground rumbled with the roar of array foundations. A colossal Supreme Strangle Immortal Array erupted, instantly enveloping everyone present. Not only Joe Di, but all the cultivators were trapped, their immortal essence and divine sense grinding to a halt.

Within the array, space became viscous—moving even a single step was a tremendous struggle.

"Today, I’ll show you this is my domain..." Andrew King had just begun his boast when the viscous space around him suddenly collapsed and exploded, then a new space wrapped him up. Now, he alone felt the suffocating pressure.

Andrew King dared not waste another word. He summoned a long Arcane Pike, which transformed into a flurry of Spear Patterns.

As the Spear Patterns swept out, the space at the edge of Joe Di’s defensive array responded, and the law array flags began to collapse.

Crack! The Supreme Strangle Immortal Array was torn apart by the barrage of Spear Patterns, and Andrew King burst free in an instant.

Joe Di could have set up another array to trap Andrew King, but instead, he summoned the Azure Veil Blade and struck with a single slash.

Even if Andrew King’s array mastery hadn’t surpassed the ninth tier, he was still at its peak, and his strength far exceeded that of a typical Immortal Emperor. To trap him, Joe Di would need an array of even higher caliber.

But that wasn’t the most important point. Even so, Joe Di could continuously set up chained Supreme Strangle Immortal Arrays to trap his opponent. The real issue was that this entire immortal domain had been refined by Andrew King, becoming his True Spirit World. No matter how many law array flags Joe Di set, Andrew King could collapse them by leveraging his control over the rules of this world.

Unless Joe Di could set up law array flags of an even higher tier.

Joe Di’s law array flags were only at the Immortal Realm tier. He couldn’t sketch out anything higher, so he couldn’t create an array that surpassed the immortal grade. Refining the flags for such an array—Andrew King would never give him the time.

Knowing Andrew King was no ordinary foe, Joe Di’s blade strike aimed to shatter the rules themselves.

As Joe Di unleashed his blade, Andrew King’s Arcane Pike once again transformed into a flurry of Spear Patterns. At this moment, he understood better than anyone—Joe Di was the strongest opponent he’d ever faced. Over the years, he’d encountered countless masters, but even a perfected Immortal Emperor was nothing compared to Joe Di.

Even a perfected Immortal Emperor was not worth mentioning before Joe Di.

When he captured Garrett, Garrett had said his brother Joe would come for revenge. To be honest, Andrew King hadn’t taken this ‘Brother Joe’ or ‘Brother Ten’ seriously. Only now did he realize just how formidable Garrett’s Brother Joe truly was.

Maybe Joe Di’s greatest strength wasn’t just his power, but his uncanny array techniques. Now Andrew King understood—the reason Joe Di destroyed his palace was because he had secretly set up an explosive array.

And that Supreme Strangle Immortal Array that nearly trapped him—Andrew King still couldn’t figure out how Joe Di had set up such a formation, but he was determined not to give Joe Di another chance.

Even though Andrew King had been at a disadvantage ever since Joe Di arrived, he remained unafraid. This domain was his—anyone he wished dead would die.

The Spear Patterns swept out, merging with space and resonating with the rules of this immortal domain. Even if Joe Di tried to escape, he couldn’t overcome the power of an entire world.

Crack, crack, crack! The sound of rules shattering echoed as the space wrapped in Spear Patterns began to collapse.

A wave of fear surged up—how could this be? The cosmic rules he wielded, entwined with his Spear Pattern technique, were all collapsing.

This was a technique that tore apart rules themselves. What was Joe Di’s method? Not only could he tear Andrew King's spatial rules, but also his technique’s rules.

Boom! The sky filled with Spear Patterns exploded, and the rules of heaven and earth in this world began to collapse, having no effect on Joe Di at all.

Bang! Thud! The Azure Veil Blade carved a bloody groove across Andrew King's chest, sending him flying and crashing into the unfinished altar.

At that moment, Andrew King’s heart turned cold. He was certain his guess was right—Joe Di could truly tear apart his technique and the very rules of this world. Terrifying didn’t begin to describe it.

If it were anyone else, they’d have been subdued the moment they challenged him in this domain. Not only did Joe Di fight, he dominated with ease. What else but ignoring the rules of this world could explain it?

"Daoist Joe, stop!" Seeing the Azure Veil Blade sweep out another blue arc, Andrew King was terrified and cried out urgently.

Joe Di was not the sort to stop just because someone asked. He unleashed the Azure Veil Blade’s first technique—Wind Sorrow.

The wind was mournful and the waters cold. The blue blade aura surged forward, locking onto Andrew King with unstoppable force. This blade would not rest until Andrew King was slain.

Andrew King’s face turned an unnatural shade of red. His Arcane Pike swept out a brown Spear Line as he shouted, "Daoist Joe, even if you destroy this world, you’ll only damage the Immortal Continent. You can’t do anything to me! At worst, I’ll abandon this place and escape. Believe me, I may not be your match, but in this world, no one can stop me from leaving. If you’re willing to stop, I’ll compensate you for your losses, and..."

Boom! The unstoppable blade aura clashed with Andrew King's brown Spear Line, and the violent immortal essence tore everything apart. The altar, built over countless years, was instantly reduced to rubble.

Seeing his altar torn to pieces, Andrew King’s eyes filled with rage and sorrow. But Joe Di’s killing intent surged like a tidal wave, and Andrew King spat out a mouthful of blood, unable to finish his words—he had no chance to stop Joe Di from destroying the altar.

Joe Di did not escape unscathed—Andrew King's cultivation was truly formidable. If not for his Stellar Meridian, Joe Di would have spat out blood from that strike as well.

Joe Di didn’t even use any elixirs. He stepped into the void, the Azure Veil Blade once again transforming into a hundred thousand feet of blue light.
