Evan Yang replied to the Holy Saintess, "Looks like it's not someone you can just meet whenever you want."
"Heh, it's just a legend. Especially after the ancient wars, no one knows how many gods survived." The Holy Saintess said with a bitter smile.
"If that's the case, then let's not worry about it. Let's leave—I'm not sure what's going on outside now." Evan Yang answered.
The Holy Saintess nodded, then left the Holy Altar with Evan Yang. Outside, they saw Protector Tanner and the others anxiously waiting.
When Protector Tanner saw the two of them, he exclaimed in shock, "You finally came out!"
"What happened? Where are the other Protectors?" The Holy Saintess asked when she saw how anxious Protector Tanner was.
"Don't even mention it. Someone spread a rumor that you disappeared, and that the Divine Seal is in Evan Yang's hands. Now everything outside is chaos." Protector Tanner said.
"It's probably Eldon Liu's doing. But Eldon Liu is seriously injured and can't come out anytime soon. I'll go settle everyone first, then figure out how to find Eldon Liu." The Holy Saintess said.
Protector Tanner didn't know what had really happened; he just wanted the Holy Saintess to hurry and handle things.
The Holy Saintess took Evan Yang and the Protectors to the Temple of Light. As soon as she appeared, the unrest and anxiety in the Temple immediately calmed.
Once things settled in the Temple of Light, the Holy Saintess gathered the Protectors to discuss what had happened.
However, the Holy Saintess deliberately left out the part about the Divine Seal being in Evan Yang's hands. When the others heard, they all cursed Eldon Liu and even wanted to find him and seal him away.
Finally, the Holy Saintess said, "Eldon Liu is already seriously injured. As long as we find him, that's enough."
"But where is he hiding?" Protector Tanner asked.
"That's up to everyone. Search all the caves everywhere, and if you find any trace of them, report it immediately," said the Holy Saintess.
Everyone nodded and left, while the Holy Saintess and Evan Yang remained in the Temple of Light.
"Why didn't you leave a Protector behind? What if someone tries to harm you?" Evan Yang knew that the Holy Saintess no longer had her Immortal Sovereign strength. If any of Eldon Liu's accomplices tried something now, things could get out of hand.
"Leave someone? What will the others think? Besides, you're here. I trust you'll have a way." The Holy Saintess smiled.
Evan Yang chuckled, "You really overestimate me."
"I'm just telling the truth. You have plenty of tricks up your sleeve," replied the Holy Saintess.
