First Day of Sales Launch

1/4/2026

Time slipped by, and soon it was May Day.

The three-day May Day holiday is always a peak season for both sales and travel.

The first day of sales for the competition was also set for this day.

So, every company was giving it their all, pouring in the energy they'd been saving up for half a year.

Product trial reports had been coming in one after another, and the lottery event was already over.

All kinds of ads and promotions had already run in waves.

Now it was time to see the final results.

All the products that had been given out for free trials were now officially priced and put up for sale.

To boost sales, every company racked their brains, coming up with every possible promotion.

Influencer promotions, buy-one-get-one-free deals, shopping voucher rebates—you name it, they've tried it.

All the vendors were competing with everything they had.

The bosses were generous, the customers were delighted, and everyone was taking advantage of the deals to stock up.

Rona Muir’s belly was really big now, so most of the company matters had been handed over to Cecilia Gu.

Charles Yin, feeling sorry for his wife, simply assigned several of his assistants to help Cecilia.

With a few assistants helping out, Cecilia finally wasn’t running around like a headless chicken anymore.

Dealing with all this, Cecilia had to admit Charles was impressive—managing so many branches and still staying organized.

Clearly, being a boss isn’t something just anyone can handle!

But even with help, the company was still in chaos.

Violet Wei called Cecilia to join the fun: “Cecilia, I hear you’re busy as a dog?”

Cecilia replied, half annoyed: “What, from your tone, are you planning to come help me out?”

Violet Wei laughed for a long time and said, “Don’t kid me, I’m a pregnant woman now!”

Alright, you win!

Pregnant women rule!

Violet continued, “I heard about Sean Kerr. He’s gotten a bit ruthless lately! If he’d been this tough before, maybe things wouldn’t be so regretful now.”

Cecilia quickly said, “Hey, hey, hey, that’s fine to say just to me, but don’t mention it in front of Rona. She finally settled down with Jiro Hirayama, let’s not stir things up.”

“Of course, I wouldn’t say that to just anyone! I’m only telling you.” Violet sighed. “Honestly, I think Sean’s following in my brother’s footsteps.”

Cecilia turned serious and asked, “Yeah, I was just about to ask—how’s your brother doing lately?”

“Glad you still have a conscience!” Violet complained. “The Yun family really screwed the Mo family over! You ran off with Charles Yin, your sister died and then came back, but ended up with Jiang Yihai, and honestly, the Mo family got the worst of it! But you saved my grandpa, so we’ll accept it. My brother’s ignoring everything outside and just focusing on work. My parents are looking after his two kids. He’s really reached some kind of enlightenment about life!”

Cecilia felt guilty. “Sorry, Violet. The Yun family really owes the Mo family. If I get the chance, I want to make it up to you.”

“Forget about all that. I called because my brother has a favor to ask.” Violet said slowly, “He wants to send his two kids to St. Dia Nobility School. You’ve got everything there from kindergarten to college. He says he trusts you with his kids.”

What? He wants to send the kids over?

Are you serious?

He must really trust me!

“The kids are so young! He’s sending them to me already?” Cecilia was stunned. “Is this for real?”

“No, just giving you a heads-up!” Violet emphasized. “Once they’re old enough, they’ll be sent over!”

Cecilia finally relaxed. “Alright, they can keep our Yinuo company. Hey, Violet, why are all the kids boys this time around? Only our Yinuo is a girl!”

Violet sighed too. “Yeah, the competition’s tough! Why did you promise your daughter to Gu Miao so early? At least let our boys have a chance!”

Cecilia laughed. “No worries, there are plenty of beauties at St. Dia Nobility School. Your boys still have a shot.”

Honestly, it’s kind of weird.

Rona Muir’s baby had already had its gender checked by Jiro Hirayama, and Violet Wei, over in England, had long known she was having a boy.

Mo Zixin also had twin sons.

So, with Yin Yuhan and Gu Miao, wow, it’s a whole bunch of boys!

Only Yin Yinuo is a girl!

If that’s not a princess, what is?

Cecilia really was busy today. After a few words with Violet, she hung up.

Xiao Wang knocked and came in with a smile: “Young Madam, the morning sales report is out. We’re neck and neck with Jolene. The others aren’t worth worrying about.”

“Great.” Cecilia’s eyes lit up as she took the report. “This is just the beginning! Once Danni gets established as a second-tier brand, we’ll have made it!”

Others came in to report on the battle, too.

The office instantly became a hive of activity.

Meanwhile, in Jolene’s office, Sean Kerr lounged in his chair, listening absentmindedly to his subordinates’ reports.

Honestly, he hadn’t acquired Jolene just to compete with Rona Muir’s Danni.

He just wanted an excuse to see her more often.

Even just seeing her was enough to make him happy.

Rona wasn’t some delicate flower—she loved a challenge, and she loved fair competition even more.

Fine, if that’s what she likes, that’s what he’ll do!

That’s why he acquired Jolene—to be a worthy rival and help Rona Muir reach the status of an international second-tier brand.

Exactly.

From the start, Sean never intended to fight Rona to the bitter end.

He just used his brand to clear out the small fry, then help Rona rise to the top!

Listening to the reports, Sean simply nodded thoughtfully at the sales figures from both companies.

“President Sean, should we increase…” Before his subordinate could finish, Sean raised a hand to interrupt.

“No need, just keep the other companies in check.” Sean chuckled. “This brand was already second-tier. Now it’s just using clever tricks and a backdoor listing for the competition. It’s not exactly a fair win. Anyway, I don’t really care about winning or losing—as long as Danni makes it through today, that’s enough.”

“Yes, President Sean.” The subordinate immediately turned to carry out the order.

Once the office was quiet again, Sean smiled softly, touching the photo of Rona Muir on his desk. He muttered to himself, “Silly girl, how could I ever be your enemy? Seeing you grow like this makes me so happy. Rona, you’ve really grown up—you’re no longer the little girl who used to follow me around. Too bad we can never go back! We’ll never return to the days when you graduated high school…”

Cecilia was busy in the office until very late, staying up until midnight when all sales ended and the data was finalized.

It would take some time to tally the numbers.

This wait was pure torture.

Rona couldn’t be there in person, but she waited at home, glued to the final updates.

If they won this time, Danni would truly be a success!

Tonight was truly a sleepless night.

Professor Mu even called to comfort Rona, saying that even if they lost, it didn’t matter—just taking part was enough.

Others called in too, offering their support and encouragement.

Cecilia sat in her office waiting for the final numbers, too busy even to put Yinuo to bed as usual.

To support his wife’s career, Charles Yin went home early to take care of Yinuo and put her to bed himself.

Time ticked on, minute by minute, until it was exactly one o’clock.

The numbers finally came in.

Danni’s total sales for the day: 3,108,065.

Jolene’s total sales for the day: 3,097,013.

The other companies hovered around two million.

Danni won the championship, no doubt about it.

When the news came in, Cecilia was so excited she burst into tears!

This was, for the first time in her life, a career that truly belonged to her.

Rona got the news at the same time. In that moment, she felt like she could finally stand tall!

Her hard work was finally recognized by others!

She finally proved herself!

Cecilia and Rona called each other, but neither could speak—they both just cried!

They were just too excited!

So excited, they couldn’t say a single word!

We won, we won!

At this moment, that’s all they wanted to say!

Finally, they won!

Sean sent a message: “Congratulations!”

Rona replied right away: “Thank you for making it possible.”

“No, it’s your effort and hard work that earned this honor. You truly deserve it.” Sean typed easily, his smile impossible to hide.

Seeing Rona win made him happier than winning first place himself.

Cecilia was so excited she felt like she was flying. As soon as she got home, Charles Yin gave her a big hug!

“My wife is amazing!” Charles didn’t hold back his praise, showering her with compliments: “When my wife steps up, she’s incredible—one is worth two! No, ten!”

Cecilia was so happy she just accepted all the praise: “You can keep going!”

Charles pretended to think. “Should I hire a few comedians to write some compliments? Then I’ll recite a new one for you every day?”

“You’re terrible!” Cecilia laughed, chasing after Charles as they joked around.

“Shh… keep it down, our daughter’s asleep.” Charles Yin pulled Cecilia close with a mischievous grin. “Since you’ve won, let’s celebrate tonight?”

“Huh? How are we celebrating?” Cecilia still hadn’t caught on.

“By pulling an all-nighter, of course!” Charles said wickedly. “Wife, we haven’t had an all-nighter in days!”

Cecilia’s cheeks instantly turned bright red!

Even after having two kids, hearing something so direct still made her shy!

Seriously…

Charles laughed, scooped Cecilia up, and headed back to their room.

Time really does fly!

In the blink of an eye, another three years had passed.

That little baby girl in swaddling clothes was now running all over the place—well, more like darting around!

“Miss, wait up…” The nanny was panting as she chased after Yinuo, who was also out of breath from running.

“I told you not to follow me!” Yinuo panted. “And stop calling me ‘Miss’!”

The nanny finally caught up and plopped down on the ground. “Then what should I call you?!”

“Of course you should call me ‘Young Master’! Call me Master Nuo!” Yinuo puffed out her chest proudly. “Everyone says my brother is the handsomest of the new Yin generation—hmph, I don’t buy it! I’m clearly the most handsome! Look, my brother takes after Mom, but I take after Dad! So I’m the handsomest in the Yin family!”

The nanny was crying inside.

Miss, when will your cosplay as the second young master of the Yin family end?

You’re supposed to start kindergarten today—are you really not wearing a dress? Are you really going in a suit?
