Student Clubs

"Second Sis, I think that's unfair. What if Ian Song really is a gentleman?" Kelsey Zhang retorted, unconvinced.

Hearing Kelsey Zhang's protest, Kelly Wu gave her a meaningful look and said, "I'm not ruling out that possibility, so I gave him a passing score." Suddenly, Kelly changed the subject: "Little Third, you're so interested in this guy—don't tell me you actually like him?"

Kelsey Zhang's face turned a little red. "I do not! He's just my old classmate, so of course I'm going to take his side a bit."

Kelly Wu blinked. "Really just an old classmate? Think about it: you guys haven't seen each other in years, but he recognized you at a glance. What does that say? It means you must be on his mind. Not to mention..."

"Not to mention what?" Sierra Chen asked curiously.

"Not to mention our Little Third is a textbook baby-face with a voluptuous figure!" As she spoke, Kelly Wu quickly reached out and squeezed Kelsey Zhang's chest, then leered, "Wow, so big, so soft!"

"Ah! Second Sis, how dare you touch me! No way, I have to get you back!"

Kelsey Zhang squealed, then pounced on Kelly Wu, and the two girls instantly dissolved into a playful scuffle.

If high school is like climbing a mountain, then college life is the flat plains you reach after reaching the summit.

Several days passed in a flash. Aside from classes, college students have tons of free time to kill, so out of sheer boredom, they create all sorts of clubs to pass the time. Of course, officially the reason for forming clubs sounds impressive—it's to help students develop in every area: morals, intelligence, fitness, and the arts.

"Ian, Gavin, I've decided—I'm joining the Waterwood University Taekwondo Club!" Leon Long waved his fists, visibly excited.

"Go ahead then," Ian Song replied coolly, his gaze still fixed on an Eastern Medicine book.

"Aren't you guys coming with me?"

"No interest," Ian Song said lazily, sitting up on his bed. Taekwondo was just basic punching and kicking—looked flashy, but the moves were full of holes.

Of course, it's good enough to fool regular people.

"What about you, Gavin?"

"I'm not going either," Gavin Gan said, playing on his phone.

Seeing that both of them refused, Leon Long couldn't help shouting, "Hey, are you guys even brothers? If you are, then come sign up for the Taekwondo Club with me!"

"Tch! Don't use 'brotherhood' as an excuse. You're only joining the Taekwondo Club to chase girls!" Ian Song scoffed, face full of disdain. After all, Kelly Wu was in the club too—a perfect chance to get close to a beauty, and Leon Long wouldn't miss it.

Leon Long declared righteously, "So what if I'm chasing girls? Bottom line—are you guys coming or not?"

"Not going!"

Ian Song and Gavin Gan replied in perfect unison.

Deflated, Leon Long stared at them. "What'll it take for you two bastards to agree?"

"You handle dorm cleaning for a month, and you wash both our stinky socks," Ian Song said, winking at Leon.

As soon as Ian finished, Gavin Gan added, "Plus, you treat us to three meals and one karaoke night."

"Damn! You two bastards are just robbing me blind!" Leon Long cursed, jumping to his feet.

"Agree, and we'll go," Ian Song said, looking like he had Leon right where he wanted him.

"That's right, agree and we'll go!" Gavin Gan chimed in with a wicked grin.

"Fine, you win! Get up, let's go sign up!" Leon Long gritted his teeth, though secretly he thought, 'You two jerks will beg me for help one day, and when that happens, I'm getting double payback.'

Waterwood University has hundreds of clubs, big and small; the Taekwondo Club is definitely one of the strongest.

The current club president is a third-year international student from East Korea named Jihyun Choi. Rumor has it he's already a fifth-dan black belt—really strong.

There are two vice presidents: one is Victor Liu, a third-year student; the other is Kyle Xu, a sophomore.

There aren't any strict requirements for joining the club, but you do have to pay a two-hundred-yuan uniform fee.

After filling out the membership form and paying the fee, Ian Song and his two roommates each received a set of white uniforms and a club badge.

"Damn, what a ripoff! This uniform's so cheap, it's worth maybe fifty yuan, but they charged us two hundred!" Leon Long griped.

"Nobody forced you to join," Ian Song mocked.

"You three, hurry up and change into your uniforms. The president will be coming over to personally instruct everyone today." Vice President Kyle Xu said to the trio.

Once they'd changed and entered the training room, Leon Long's eyes darted around. When he spotted Kelly Wu, her figure accentuated by her uniform, hair tied in a neat ponytail, he couldn't help but brighten and strode straight toward her.

"Got a girl, lost your soul!"

Watching him abandon them without hesitation, Gavin Gan muttered in annoyance.

Just then, three girls in uniforms entered the room—none other than Sierra Chen, Molly Wang, and Kelsey Zhang.

Gavin Gan, who'd just mocked Leon Long for ditching them over a girl, immediately abandoned Ian Song and rushed straight to Sierra Chen.

"Hey, Sierra Chen, Molly Wang, Kelsey Zhang—didn't expect you three to join the Taekwondo Club too!"

"Yep! We heard President Jihyun Choi is super handsome, so we signed up!" Sierra Chen said cheerfully.

Hearing Sierra Chen praise another guy's looks, Gavin Gan couldn't help feeling a bit uncomfortable.

Since everyone was pretty familiar, Ian Song went over to greet the three girls as well.

As for Leon Long...

Kelly Wu was already stunning, so naturally a crowd of eager boys had gathered around her. Leon Long barely managed a greeting before losing his chance to say another word, feeling seriously frustrated.

"Ian Song, do you actually like Taekwondo?" Kelsey Zhang asked, looking at him.

"Not really."

"Then why'd you join?" Kelsey Zhang asked, puzzled.

Ian Song glanced at Leon Long. "That guy wants to chase Kelly Wu, but he's too chicken to go alone, so he dragged me and Gavin Gan along for backup."

"Hehe, my Second Sis isn't that easy to win over. He'll probably be disappointed!" Kelsey Zhang giggled.

"Is that so? Guess I'd better warn him, so he doesn't get in too deep," Ian Song chuckled.

Just then, Victor Liu's voice rang out: "Everyone quiet down, President Jihyun Choi is here!"

Instantly, everyone's eyes turned to the training room door. A moment later, a tall, handsome young man over 1.8 meters strode in, dressed in a crisp white uniform with a black belt.

"Wow, so handsome!"

"I heard the president's a fifth-dan black belt!"

"East Korean oppa—I'm in love!"

The moment Jihyun Choi appeared, he was greeted with cheers and squeals from several first-year girls.

Kelsey Zhang was no exception—hands clasped to her chest, she gazed at him with a dazed, infatuated look.
