A Single Shot Takes Down the Giant

After Colonel Hank Han assigned combat tasks to the members of the Dragon Task Force, he found a good hidden sniper spot on the hillside and quietly waited for the Delta Force to appear.

Shawn Young and Fiona Tang were alone in a rocky cave on the hillside, constantly monitoring Black Eye's movements. Fiona knew Black Eye had a special escape ability—if they weren't careful, he'd slip away at the first chance!

Soon, the low drone of CH-47 Chinook helicopters echoed in the air. Shawn Young and Fiona Tang poked their heads out of the cave, spotting two upgraded CH-47 Chinooks clearing out the Afghan tribal fighters with heavy firepower. The helicopters' massive cannons unleashed a terrifying barrage on the hillside warriors.

The hillside was crawling with tribal fighters—drug lord's private armies, tribal warriors, and even mercenaries under Dudarev. They thought victory was theirs, but the two low-flying Chinooks rained down ammo from four heavy cannons and four nine-barrel rocket pods, turning the ground into a war zone.

The fighters, certain they had the upper hand, were instantly shredded by the overwhelming firepower from above. Human bodies were torn apart by the steel beasts, with no time to escape. Blood, flesh, and organs flew everywhere as Hellfire missiles launched from the helicopters, erupting in blinding explosions. The ground turned into a true hell!

Even a few RPGs fired skyward were intercepted by dense anti-air fire, bursting into dazzling sparks mid-air. The lucky survivors scrambled for cover, hiding among rocks and caves, knowing their firepower was no match for the ammo-loaded Chinooks, despite their numbers.

"Whoa! That's intense! No wonder the Americans have the world's top military—it's like they're firing ammo for free! Each Hellfire missile costs hundreds of thousands of dollars! But hey, the results speak for themselves." Fiona Tang muttered as she stared at the carnage on the hillside.

Shawn Young felt nauseous—it was his first time witnessing such a bloody, brutal battle. The fully-armed Afghan fighters were wiped out by advanced weapons, hardly a whole body left. For the first time, he realized how fragile humans are against modern tech. Even his protective qi shield couldn't guarantee survival against such firepower!

After clearing the hillside, the two Chinooks lowered two Humvees with mounted heavy machine guns using hooks. Colonel Jackcott and his Delta Force squads slid down special ropes from the helicopters. Larman and Martin followed, exchanging glances before calmly heading down the slope.

"Oh—look out, Delta Force is coming down! Time for Colonel Hank Han and his team to move!" Fiona Tang said.

Bang—! Just as Tang Qianqian finished speaking, a crisp gunshot rang out. Suddenly, black smoke poured from the cockpit of a Chinook, which spun wildly before crashing onto the hillside—Boom! A flash of fire and a deafening explosion erupted, killing the pilot and several Delta Force soldiers instantly.

"Whoa—that was Colonel Hank Han! I can't believe his PSG semi-automatic sniper rifle is that powerful! It even pierced the Chinook's armored glass!" Fiona Tang exclaimed.

Hidden in a corner of the hillside, Colonel Hank Han pulled out a shiny silver bullet and chuckled quietly, "Heh—one shot took down that big guy! Jackpot! Finally, we get to play tech wars with the Americans! Our new Frostpiercer Round packs a punch! Too bad I only have two—each one costs fifty grand! Gotta make them count!"

Colonel Jackcott had just landed when he saw the Chinook go down and his men wiped out. He was so frustrated he almost coughed up blood, but his battlefield experience kicked in—he realized it was a special weapon that shot down the helicopter. Remembering Martin's friendly tip, he quickly signaled to his team: "Stay sharp, find cover! There's a professional sniper out there—probably Chinese Special Forces! Sniper team, get in position! Let's take out their sniper!"

As Colonel Jackcott spoke, he grabbed a Barrett .50 caliber sniper rifle and quickly took cover on the hillside. The Delta Force soldiers, hearing about a China Special Forces sniper, spread out and hid behind rocks. For these battle-hardened Delta guys, the scariest thing on the field wasn't heavy weapons or hordes of enemies—it was the sniper known as the 'Ghost of the Battlefield.' Only a sniper can deal with another sniper. Surviving a sniper duel? That's pure skill!
