You Are So Amazing, My Cutie Pie
After Grace Wan was granted the title of First Lady of the Blue Moon Kingdom, the household made her ceremonial robes according to protocol. Both Grace’s second and third uncles’ families, as well as Jade Hall, sent her clothes as congratulatory gifts.
"Yes!" Willow replied. "These are from Jade Hall. Their embroidery is among the best in the household—one look and you can tell it’s Aunt Crystal’s handiwork."
Grace Wan’s lips twitched. Holding up her bandaged wrist, she said through gritted teeth, "Good, very good!"
...
After Grace Wan left, Grace lingered at the scene for a while longer.
Later, the Wan Family also took their leave.
Her eldest brother stayed by their father's side, looking perfectly normal, so there was no danger. Grace then returned to Serenity Pavilion.
Little Cutie appeared out of nowhere, then ran off again, leaving Grace feeling a bit down.
However, as soon as she entered Serenity Pavilion, a snake leapt into her arms and started rubbing its head affectionately against her.
"Little Cutie!" Grace exclaimed in delight. "So you came back after all?"
Cutie Pie nodded.
Grace excitedly brought it inside and asked, "Tell me, have you really been with a dragon lately?"
Cutie Pie nodded again.
"Wow!" Grace looked it over from head to tail. "But... I don’t see any difference. You’re still the same as before!"
Cutie Pie puffed up its body, looking all proud and mighty.
"Alright, alright, maybe I’m just blind!" Grace laughed. "So, why did you bite Aunt Wan?"
Cutie Pie opened its mouth, but Grace couldn’t understand what it meant.
"Was it because... you found out she was up to something bad?"
Cutie Pie shook its head.
"Then why? Did you just not like her face?" Grace joked.
It actually nodded.
"What? Then, what was up with that Spotted Leopard Spirit Beast? Did you just not like it too—or wait, it was so terrified at the time... Was that because of you?"
Cutie Pie grinned and nodded.
It had originally wanted the Spotted Leopard Spirit Beast to get some of Grace Wan’s blood.
But it was just too weak, and ended up getting killed by Kevin Zhuo.
"Wow... You’re amazing, Cutie Pie!" Grace hugged it tightly. "Just like Evan Xiao said, now that you’ve got some dragon aura, all the other spirit beasts are scared of you!"
Cutie Pie wagged its tail and snuggled against her chest.
...
That night, the Antler Serpent slept in her arms.
The next morning, it was curled up in her bed, its head resting on her... softness, sleeping soundly and sweetly.
"Hiss! You little rascal..." Grace moved its head away.
The Antler Serpent woke up and looked at her innocently.
Seeing its pure, innocent eyes, Grace suddenly felt like she was the wicked one.
It’s just a snake—what does it know, anyway?
After breakfast, the Antler Serpent posed on the table, curling its head and tail together into a circle.
Grace stared at it for a while, then suddenly remembered, "Are you saying you have to leave again?"
That was something she’d promised it before.
The Antler Serpent nodded.
"Where are you going? Don’t tell me... back to the General’s Manor, to that pool again?" Grace asked.
The Antler Serpent nodded again.
Grace’s eyes lit up and she whispered, "Is that dragon easy to get along with?"
The Antler Serpent nodded again.
"Hmm... then, do you want me to take you there? I could visit Evan Xiao too, hehe..."
This time, the Antler Serpent shook its head—and very firmly, too.
"Alright then... Go ahead! If you miss me, come back and see me, okay?" Grace said reluctantly.
The Antler Serpent nodded, hopped off the table, and was about to leave.
"Hey! Wait a sec!" Grace called out.
The Antler Serpent turned to look at her.
