Surprisingly Beautiful

"So silly," Evan Xiao suddenly spoke up.

Chloe Zhu suddenly looked up, ignoring whatever Evan Xiao had just said. She hurriedly brought Ray over and said, "Evan Xiao, look at him, what's wrong?"

Evan Xiao reached out to take Ray and said, "He's fine, he's just about to break through."

"Oh, I see..." Chloe Zhu let out a sigh of relief.

"I'll take him and help him out," Evan Xiao said as he turned to leave.

But Ray suddenly called out weakly, "Mommy, I want Mommy!"

Evan Xiao gently said, "I know you're uncomfortable, but once you get through this, you'll feel better. Father God will help you."

"I want Mommy..." Ray looked at him with teary eyes.

Evan Xiao frowned and glanced at Chloe Zhu, then suddenly grabbed her arm and took her along.

Chloe Zhu felt as if her body was suddenly falling from a great height. Her vision went dark, then bright, and she found herself in another world.

Chloe Zhu stared in shock at her surroundings, certain she had arrived in the Celestial Realm.

It was supposed to be nighttime, but the sky here was a glowing, translucent white, with a few fluffy clouds floating by.

She stood beside a vast expanse of water—so clear and blue, even purer than the cleanest ocean she’d ever seen.

It must be an island, covered in gorgeous celestial flowers and herbs, completely untouched by anything worldly.

Even the stones on the island seemed to brim with spiritual energy.

Most amazing of all, a path covered in flowers and grass stretched through the void, reaching up toward the sky—like a road straight to the heavens...

"Wow... it's so beautiful!" Chloe Zhu wished she had ten pairs of eyes to take in all the sights.

"Stay here," Evan Xiao said, his face expressionless.

"Oh, okay," Chloe Zhu replied.

Evan Xiao took Ray and dove straight into the water.

"Why did they jump into the water?" was Chloe Zhu's first, puzzled reaction.

Later, she realized... since both of them were dragons, cultivating in water was probably better for them.

While they were in the water, Chloe Zhu wandered around the island.

She discovered that this island was a real treasure trove!

There were all sorts of rare medicinal herbs growing here!

And unlike the dangerous Eastern Wilderness Forest, here she could pick them as she pleased!

She didn’t hold back and picked a whole bunch of herbs.

She used a large, flexible leaf from the island to wrap up the herbs, making a bundle. Meanwhile, the two of them showed no sign of movement.

So, she walked onto that floating path again.

It seemed endless...

Chloe Zhu walked into the air above the water, looking down to try and spot Evan Xiao and Ray.

But she couldn’t see them anywhere...

Evan Xiao, underwater, saw Chloe Zhu.

She was dressed in a white robe trimmed with blue, standing on the path covered in celestial flowers and herbs. She actually looked... pretty good.
