Redmond looked visibly agitated, his temper flaring as Noah Grimm began to speak.
Back then, Rufina Howard was watching TV and saw one of those giant Ferris wheels—she’d always wanted to go. So yesterday, Redmond took her to the amusement park to ride the Ferris wheel. But while the little girl was in the restroom, she was taken away.
"No way, Noah Grimm, if Vivian Maple had been there..."
Noah Grimm sighed and said.
"I was the one who went with her that day. After all, there are differences between men and women—I couldn’t go into the restroom with her. And that’s exactly what the enemy targeted."
"I’m afraid, with your level as a Blue Wraith, plus a Ghost Sovereign, if someone opened a ghost domain, you two should have noticed right away."
Ma Yongjie looked at Noah Grimm, puzzled. I also found it strange—Redmond was always careful and cautious. How could he make such a mistake?
At that moment, Redmond clutched the lock of red hair spilling from his left forehead and laughed wildly.
"Only that damned corpse demon’s subordinate, Dream Zero, could pull off something like this."
Redmond spoke quietly. Just then, with a bang, I saw a ball of green light fly toward us. In an instant, it landed in front of the Hall of Malice—a Blue Wraith, glowing with green light all over. I’d never seen it before, but the ghost power it unleashed was immense.
That Blue Wraith had a large string of skulls around its neck, wore a leather vest, and its face was twisted with rage. It had monk’s pants and held a brown staff, both ends capped with iron.
"That's Dream One, commonly called the Angry Monk. Boss, let me handle this."
Noah Grimm spoke, stepping forward. Instantly, a fierce gust of wind blew our way. In that moment, I saw Ma Yongjie suddenly dart ahead, fist raised.
"Second Extreme... inside..."
With a bang, Ma Yongjie’s fist struck the Angry Monk’s chest. Immediately, with another crash, the Blue Wraith known as the Angry Monk shattered, dissolving into a cloud of green vapor and vanishing.
I stared in astonishment at all this.
“Troublemaker. Not that I feel like doing anything myself right now.”
Redmond stared blankly at Mr. Blackmask. Just as I was marveling, I noticed suspicion flicker in Mr. Blackmask’s eyes, as if he’d discovered something.
"It's a fake, isn't it?" Oddball Moe stepped forward, reaching out as if sensing something.
"Exactly. A fake. A Blue Wraith with this kind of ghost energy couldn’t be wiped out so easily by a single blow from me."
Mr. Blackmask spoke. I looked at Redmond, and Noah Grimm stepped forward.
"Let me put it this way, Ethan Zhang: Back then, under Dream Sovereign, there was a Blue Wraith with an extraordinary power—his code name was Dream Zero. You’ve probably met him before."
I nodded, and Noah Grimm continued.
"What’s special about Dream Zero is that his ghost soul can perfectly replicate the appearance, moves, and powers of anyone he sees."
I looked at Noah Grimm in astonishment—it really seemed to be true. Previously, in the dream world, Ouyang Dream and Ouyang Chen suddenly appeared and fought fiercely. Ouyang Chen couldn’t win. I remembered back then, Dream Zero said everything was within his gaze, all under the Dream Sovereign.
"His ability, put simply, is replication. But even if he copies the strongest person he’s ever seen, the duplicate’s power is only one percent of the original. Still, you have to treat them as real—their fighting style and techniques are identical. Back then, Dream Sovereign only became a Ghost Sovereign thanks to Dream Zero."
"But things are completely different now, Noah."
Redmond said, his voice tinged with anger.
"That’s right."
Noah Grimm explained that originally, Dream Zero’s replication couldn’t be repeated. But this time, the Blue Wraiths under Dream Sovereign’s command exist in multiples—just like the Angry Monk who Mr. Blackmask struck down, it was already the ninth time he’d charged at us.
The other Blue Wraiths under Dream Sovereign’s command also exist in multiples. Though many of these Blue Wraiths aren’t all that powerful, they’re extremely ruthless—their combat skills are deadly.
So the fighting is still going on. The enemy seems determined to wear Redmond and his team down.
"Things aren’t looking good over at Basil Bertram’s side, either."
Redmond said, and I remembered that before Lord Shenyan left, he’d mentioned going to help Basil Bertram.
"So you’re saying, back then Dream Zero used his power to create a copy of Redmond, which is how Rufina Howard was taken away?"
I finally understood. Noah Grimm nodded.
"The most troublesome thing now is, we have no idea where Rufina Howard was taken. And the enemy keeps attacking—with nothing but fakes. That’s why the boss is just sitting here, fuming. What’s even stranger is how those guys are getting in. We’ve searched everywhere, but we can’t figure out how they’re appearing inside."
Just then, I saw a huge body crash toward us, smashing a deep hole in the ground with a loud bang.
With an "ow," it was Rotface, the grotesque ghost with a dragon’s head. A spear was stuck in his skull—furious, he yanked it out, gripped a huge hook in his hand, then angrily slammed the hook onto the ground and plopped down.
"Boss, give me a hand, or maybe let Noah Grimm help out—it’s rough out there, boss."
"You fat bastard, have you ever seen a boss jump into action right from the start? With all these small fry around, if I step in, where’s my dignity, huh?"
Rotface sighed.
"Boss, I’ve already taken out the same enemy a hundred times—damn it, he dies and comes back, over and over. I’m exhausted, starving, it’s rough, boss."

"Fatty, it’s because you never exercise. Take this chance to train yourself—if you don’t get moving, Vivian Maple will give you hell again."
Rotface immediately got up, muttering under his breath.
"Hmph, it’d be a cinch to wipe out those fakes with a wave of your hand, but you just watch your people suffer and don’t help."
"What did you say? Fatty? Say that again if you dare!"
Redmond shot to his feet, and Rotface quickly grinned, turned into a flash of green light, and flew off into the distance.
At that moment, Redmond gave me a wicked grin and walked toward me step by step. I blinked. Redmond looked at me, patted me on the shoulder.
