"That's right. But what exactly is this place?" Evan Yang asked suspiciously.
"You don't even know what this place is? And you still dare to come here? Ignorant fool!" The Tiger Sovereign snorted coldly at Evan Yang.
"I'm just here to take a look. I'll leave once I'm done. Is there a problem with that?" Evan Yang said helplessly to this arrogant Sovereign.
Seeing Evan Yang act so disrespectfully toward him, the Tiger Sovereign, who hadn't killed anyone in countless years, sneered, "I haven't killed in millions of years, but now someone actually dares to come in. I should have some fun—otherwise, who knows when I'll get another chance?"
"You want to kill someone so badly? Why don't you just leave, mighty Sovereign?" Evan Yang asked with a smile.
"Ridiculous! If I could leave, I would've already. It's this damned Hundred-Fiend Cauldron that's trapped me here!" The Tiger Sovereign growled, clearly angered by Evan Yang's words.
"Hundred-Fiend Cauldron?" Evan Yang finally learned the name of the cauldron, though he still wondered what connection it had to the Beast-Soul Stele and why it had drawn him here.
"What, no one told you about this place when you came in? Or did that guy just throw us in here and abandon us? If I'd known, I would've chosen mutual destruction back then!" The Tiger Sovereign snorted coldly.
Evan Yang didn't quite understand what the Tiger Sovereign meant, but it was clearly related to how he entered this place. Growing more interested in the area, he smiled, "You were thrown in here by someone? Was that person really powerful?"
"Obviously! If he wasn't strong, why would I listen to him? Damn it." The Tiger Sovereign snorted coldly.
"Oh? Who exactly was that person?" Evan Yang asked suspiciously.
"A God of Beastcraft from the Demon-Beast Realm, ranked alongside several other Gods at the very top." The Tiger Sovereign said proudly.
"A God?" Hearing the word again, Evan Yang frowned. His first thought was that this artifact must have belonged to a God, but he still wondered why it was here.
"That's right. Wasn't it that guy who sent you here to train? He's so hateful, treating us like pets. Now I'll show you the power of a Sovereign!" The Tiger Sovereign said hotly.
"No, I think you're mistaken. I only ended up here by accident." Evan Yang really had no idea what was going on, so he explained.
"Stop denying it! If you're here to train, just admit it. Enough nonsense—today you'll see how we take you down." The Tiger Sovereign snorted coldly.
With that, he spread his palm, and a giant tiger claw formed, swiping toward Evan Yang.
The attack sliced through the air, creating a powerful collision. Standing before the Tiger Sovereign, Evan Yang could sense the terrifying force behind it. Facing this attack, Evan quickly dodged, moving at incredible speed.
With a swish, Evan Yang was already at the Tiger Sovereign's right side. "Is that all you've got?"
"Not bad, kid. You're barely at the peak of the Emperor Realm, yet you have such speed. Has the outside world changed that much?" The Tiger Sovereign wasn't surprised, but instead asked curiously.
"Nothing's changed. I'm just a bit special, that's all." Evan Yang replied with a smile.
"Special? Then I'd like to see what's so special about you." The Tiger Sovereign snorted, spreading his arms. He slashed left and right, expanding his attack range to instantly cover the entire area before him.
But even this couldn't trouble Evan Yang. He darted behind the Tiger Sovereign at lightning speed. Shocked, the Tiger Sovereign quickly spun around and launched another attack at Evan.
The Tiger Sovereign's attacks were powerful, but his speed couldn't match Evan's. Furious, he let out a roar, unleashing chaotic strikes all around. Evan immediately activated the Earth-Rock Aegis; although it was tough, his unfinished Earth-Rock Aegis was quickly torn apart.
Evan Yang quickly reformed the Earth-Rock Aegis and searched for a way to approach the Tiger Sovereign.
The Tiger Sovereign went wild, using his body as the center to attack in all directions. The range was wide, but the attack power wasn't as strong as before. This gave Evan an opening: as the Tiger Sovereign paused to recover, Evan flashed behind him and landed a punch on his sturdy back.
A Sovereign's body was indeed tougher than an Immortal Sovereign's—his skin was thick, and Evan felt a strong rebound in his hand, forcing him to retreat.
Even so, that blow made the Sovereign very uncomfortable. He glared angrily at Evan Yang. "Didn't expect your speed and strength to be so impressive! If my body weren't tougher than other Sovereigns, I would've been seriously injured!" "I didn't expect your hide to be so thick either!" Evan Yang laughed.
"Damn it, I'm going to eat you!" The Sovereign roared, instantly transforming into a giant tiger and lunging to bite Evan Yang.
With a snap, the tiger's jaws opened wide and clamped down on Evan Yang.
Evan Yang immediately pulled out the Limitless Spear and jammed it between the tiger's jaws, then controlled the spear to extend, threatening to force the giant tiger's mouth open.
"Damn it, what kind of treasure is that? It's so tough!" The giant tiger roared, shocked by Evan Yang's Limitless Spear.
"You'd better change back, or we'll just stay like this and see who suffers more." Evan Yang said.
"You..." The Tiger Sovereign, completely outmaneuvered, hadn't expected his attack to be countered so easily. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't shake Evan off or crush the treasure. "Make up your mind, or we'll see whether your hide is tougher or my treasure is!" Evan Yang said.
The Tiger Sovereign was proud, so he refused to give in and kept struggling. After about half an hour, he finally compromised, "Fine, I agree. Let go."
"That's more like it." Evan Yang shrank the Limitless Spear and withdrew it from the tiger's mouth, stepping outside.
The Tiger Sovereign shifted back into human form, looked at Evan Yang, and rubbed his mouth. Though he was furious, he had to admit Evan's strength—dealing with him wasn't going to be easy.
"You've really got some skill." The Tiger Sovereign said.

"That's only because you went easy on me." Evan Yang laughed.
"Alright, don't say that about me. Tell me, were you sent here by him, or did you come some other way?" The Tiger Sovereign asked.
"I don't know the God you're talking about. I ended up here because the Hundred-Fiend Cauldron was sitting inside a barrier, completely unattended." Evan Yang explained.
"Unattended? How is that possible?" The Tiger Sovereign said skeptically.
"If you don't believe me, there's nothing I can do. That's just how it is." Evan Yang replied.
"So that person abandoned the Hundred-Fiend Cauldron?" The Tiger Sovereign asked, suspicious.
Evan Yang looked at the Tiger Sovereign and said, "I really don't know about that."
The Tiger Sovereign fell into deep thought. "So where did you see this barrier?" "It was in an underwater, abandoned ancient city," Evan Yang replied.
"Underwater? How could that be? Isn't it supposed to be in the Demon-Beast Realm?" The Tiger Sovereign asked suspiciously.
"It's not the Demon-Beast Realm." Evan Yang answered.
Hearing this, the Tiger Sovereign frowned even more, then said, "Come on, I'll take you to meet a few other Sovereigns."
Evan Yang was surprised to hear there were other Sovereigns here. Was this space meant just for imprisoning Sovereigns?
Led by the Tiger Sovereign, Evan Yang soon met two more Sovereigns—one whose true form was a wolf, and another whose true form was an eagle.
"Brother Tiger, is this the human you were talking about?" The two Sovereigns approached Evan Yang, looking him over curiously and asking the Tiger Sovereign.
"That's right. I've already told you what happened. What do you think is going on?" The Tiger Sovereign asked curiously.
"Well, who knows? Maybe the God just left this artifact inside some barrier for a fated person, or maybe he was just hiding it somewhere and you stumbled in by accident." The Eagle Sovereign said.
"Brother Eagle, what do you think we should do now?" The Tiger Sovereign asked, suspicious.
The Eagle Sovereign looked Evan Yang up and down, then asked, "Did you enter the barrier alone?"
"Yes, I went in alone." Evan Yang replied.
"Actually, if you want to know whether the Hundred-Fiend Cauldron was left for a fated person, you could try heading to the central area. If you really are the one, you'll become the cauldron's master. If not, you'll be trapped there like us, forever becoming one of the cauldron's people." The Eagle Sovereign said.
Evan Yang hadn't expected the Hundred-Fiend Cauldron to have such a place. After thinking for a moment, he asked, "Is there no other way?"
"That's right. If you want to leave, you have to become the cauldron's master. Otherwise, you'll stay here with us, never able to escape. And if you do become the master, we might even have to call you 'Master.' If not, you're nothing." The Eagle Sovereign said bluntly.
"Master? I don't think I could handle that." Evan Yang couldn't imagine the three Sovereigns calling him master—he didn't have the ability to control them, and if they rebelled, he'd have to watch his back.
"Enough talk. Two choices: stay here, or go there and try. It's up to you." The Eagle Sovereign said.
Of course, Evan Yang couldn't stay here forever, so he said, "No matter what, I won't stay here. I'll go check it out."
"Alright, follow us." The Eagle Sovereign said.
Evan Yang followed the three unfamiliar Sovereigns as they flew to a mountain peak. The mountain towered above, and according to their explanation, they couldn't approach it—if they did, the Hundred-Fiend Cauldron's restraints would trap them until they left the area.
"This is the place. You can go in now," the Eagle Sovereign said.
"No matter what, thank you all." Evan Yang said, then flashed into the mountain's range.
The Tiger Sovereign frowned. "Brother Eagle, why let him come here? If he really is the fated one, won't he become our master? Letting an Emperor Realm cultivator become our master is humiliating!"
