Sword Arts and Sword Wounds

Quinn Shepherd looked up at the palace floating in the sky, where countless women were soaring out, landing atop the surrounding peaks. True Heaven Palace had clearly received word of Quinn’s coalition and their campaign, and was already fully prepared for their arrival.

Boom!

Suddenly, a mountain erupted in a blast of shattered stone, rocks flying everywhere as the peak itself transformed into a towering mountain giant.

The mountain giant crouched low, then tore its massive legs free from the earth, sending tremors rippling through the ground.

Formation Mistress Ivy He raised her hand, and the massive Junwood City paused, coming to a gentle stop.

Amidst the mountains, the giant slowly rose. Its enormous palm—large as dozens of acres—swept through the air, whipping up fierce winds as it seized a sword-shaped peak.

A piercing screech rang out as the mountain giant wrenched the sword-shaped peak from the earth!

As the giant pulled, stones cascaded from the sword-shaped peak. By the time he hoisted it high, all the rock had fallen away, revealing a rust-stained true form beneath.

A colossal mountain sword!

Quinn Shepherd’s expression grew grave as he looked up at the mountain giant and its massive sword, shrouded in drifting clouds and mist.

True Heaven Palace’s foundation was unimaginably vast—greater even than the holy lands of the Central Lands. Not even the Daoist sects, the Great Thunderclap Temple, or the Heavenly Demon Cult could match such terrifying heritage.

Boom, boom.

Thunderous explosions echoed as mountain peaks transformed into giants thousands of zhang tall, grabbing weapons so massive they defied imagination!

These were the guardians of True Heaven Palace.

Countless True Heaven Palace disciples stood atop the mountain giants’ shoulders and heads, their figures rising and falling with every step, radiating murderous intent.

Quinn Shepherd glanced at Mina Frost. If she hadn’t poisoned the Bear clan back then, the Yu clan would never have seized True Heaven Palace or stolen the Bear clan’s power.

Just these mountain giants alone were an unimaginably terrifying force, surpassing an army of a million!

"To formation—!"

Ivy He shouted loudly, and the women of House Hale poured out of Junwood City, each unfurling formation flags that summoned a host of spirit-weapons.

The women of House Hale assembled with astonishing speed, using spirit-weapons to build giant trebuchets—each a hundred zhang tall—behind Junwood City. Quinn watched, stunned by the sight.
