Elder Joe Qiao Pays a Visit

"I understand. But what does this have to do with the Shard Bugs?" Evan Yang asked suspiciously.

"It does. Shard Bugs are creatures from the Otherworld. They're devouring everything. If not for the top experts of the Immortal Realm holding them back, many places would've already been eaten away," Elder Aurora Qing explained.

"I see." Evan Yang hadn't expected these Shard Bugs to originate this way.

"Surprised, aren't you? I was shocked too when I first learned about it," Elder Aurora Qing said.

"So, senior, does that mean the Gate of the Otherworld is just a place for raising these Shard Bugs?" Evan Yang asked curiously.

"That place is full of these creatures, all made by that evil person," Elder Aurora Qing replied.

Evan Yang asked, "I've heard that every world is made by some powerful people. Do you know who they are?"

"Those people? Well, they're above Immortal Sovereign level. They have the power to destroy worlds, so everyone calls them gods. And that evil one is known as the God of Ten Thousand Insects," Elder Aurora Qing explained.

"Gods?" Hearing about a being stronger than Immortal Sovereign, Evan Yang pictured flames that could destroy planets in his mind.

"What are you spacing out for?" Elder Aurora Qing asked curiously.

"No, it's nothing. I was just thinking about something," Evan Yang snapped back to attention.

"Do you know why I'm looking for someone with Three-Attribute Heaven?" Elder Aurora Qing asked.

"I don't." Evan Yang really wanted to know.

"Like I said, only someone with Three-Attribute Heaven can enter the Gate of the Otherworld. That's why I need a Three-Attribute Heaven to go there," Elder Aurora Qing explained.

"Senior, you mean...?" Evan Yang was stunned. Sending him to the Gate of the Otherworld meant facing those creatures—wasn't that just suicide?

"What I mean is, a long time ago, when the God of Ten Thousand Insects tried to destroy other realms, several gods joined forces against him. But his power was overwhelming. In the end, those gods used all their strength to seal him, but the seal weakens over time. If he breaks free, no one will be able to stop him. That's why a Three-Attribute Heaven is needed—to kill him before he fully awakens," Elder Aurora Qing said.

"Senior, you want me to kill the God of Ten Thousand Insects?" Evan Yang was dumbfounded. He could barely fight Emperor-realm opponents—how was he supposed to battle a being of such power? It was like heaven and earth apart.

"No, just to go." Elder Aurora Qing had barely said this when light suddenly flashed around them.

The sudden burst of light made Elder Aurora Qing frown, and Evan Yang looked at her curiously. After Aurora's expression changed, she spoke, "Looks like I can only tell you this much."

"Why? Senior?" Evan Yang asked, confused.

Elder Aurora Qing sighed. "I've already told you almost everything I can today. Some things will have to wait until you reach Immortal Sovereign. Then I'll tell you the rest."

"Immortal Sovereign? Senior, you can't be serious. Who knows how many years that'll take, or if I'll even survive that long," Evan Yang said, feeling like the story was only half-told and way too ridiculous.

"Enough, that's all for now. Just remember—you must survive. If the world is destroyed, your friends and family will disappear. I'm not joking," Elder Aurora Qing said seriously.

Evan Yang felt that Aurora Qing was speaking with a terrifying seriousness, but when he thought about the power to destroy planets and create such powerful realms, he realized she wasn't exaggerating.

Seeing Aurora Qing stay silent, Evan Yang could only sigh. "Alright, but that's assuming I can stay alive."

"I believe you'll be fine. Here, take these three stones," Elder Aurora Qing said, handing Evan Yang three green stones.

"What are these?" Evan Yang asked, puzzled.

"These are Life-Saving Stones. Each one can block a deadly attack and teleport you far away, keeping you alive," Elder Aurora Qing explained.

Evan Yang stared at the three stones in shock. They looked ordinary, but hearing they were Life-Saving Stones, he couldn't help but be impressed.

"With these three stones, you have at least three chances to survive. But since you've made it this far, you probably won't die so easily," Elder Aurora Qing said with a smile.

"Thank you for the compliment, Senior," Evan Yang said with a smile.

Elder Aurora Qing smiled. "Alright, I was originally going to show you something, but it looks like the timing isn't right. We'll talk about it later."

Evan Yang realized the earlier flash of light had stopped Aurora Qing from showing him whatever she intended, but he also knew there was no point in asking too much. Besides, the world was fine for now, so he just smiled and said, "Yeah."

"Let's go." Elder Aurora Qing said, feeling excited to have found a Three-Attribute Heaven, but some things had to be kept quiet.

Outside, Lora Luo and the others were surprised to see Evan Yang and Aurora Qing return so quickly.

Just then, someone arrived at the door—it was none other than Lora Luo's martial aunt, Lynn Qing, the one Evan Yang had just defeated. Lynn was Aurora Qing's junior-sister.

"Senior sister," Lynn Qing called as soon as she entered, looking at Evan Yang and the others.

"What are you doing here? Wait, you're hurt?" Elder Aurora Qing asked, curious.

"Uh..." Lynn Qing was stunned. Evan Yang and Lora Luo felt awkward looking at her—the injuries were caused by Evan Yang.

Seeing the awkward atmosphere, Elder Aurora Qing asked curiously, "What's going on with you all?"

"Senior, I accidentally hurt her," Evan Yang said.

Lynn Qing snorted coldly and stayed silent. Aurora Qing was stunned, then smiled, "So that's what happened. No wonder."

Evan Yang and the others were confused—why was Aurora Qing smiling? The atmosphere was clearly strange.

"Junior-sister, looks like you finally got a taste of defeat. What happened?" Elder Aurora Qing asked with a smile.

"Don't even mention it. This kid is a ninth-tier Heavenly-Immortal. I thought twenty percent power would be enough to win, but..." Lynn Qing said.

Elder Aurora Qing listened, then asked suspiciously, "Oh? Is that really how it happened?"

"Yes, Master, but then..." Lora Luo said.

"Then what happened?" Elder Aurora Qing asked curiously.

"Then, martial aunt lost and had to use thirty percent of her power," Lora Luo explained.

"Oh? Junior-sister, is that true?" Elder Aurora Qing asked curiously.
