Quinn's body swelled, growing taller and more imposing, his aura intensifying. He said in a deep voice, "This spell consumes a tremendous amount of my own strength. When I revived Lady Umbral, I nearly worked myself to death. Afterwards, she felt guilty and gave me a pile of treasures to make up for it."
The woman of light caught on, smiling. "Don't worry, I won't be stingier than Lady Umbral. However much she gave you, I'll give you ten times more."
Quinn was overjoyed and threw himself into the Soul-Calling Rite with all his might, though he was secretly groaning inside.
He had originally thought Earth Mother Primordial Lady died at the hands of the Outer Heaven Court. Reviving her would simply add an enemy for them, letting Everpeace and Earth Mother join forces—which would have greatly benefited Everpeace's current situation.
But it turned out Earth Mother Primordial Lady was killed by the Heaven Alliance!
Of course, that's not the same Heaven Alliance as Everpeace's.
This was the Heaven Alliance founded by Quinn himself, all the way back in the first year of the Dragon-Han Era—a million years ago!
When Quinn returned to his own time, he told Venerable Skysoar about founding the Heaven Alliance. Back then, there were only three members: Quinn, the Pioneer Emperor, and Venerable Skysoar!
Afterwards, Quinn had no idea how the Heaven Alliance developed.
Now it seems the Heaven Alliance survived through the Dragon-Han Era, and even the Outer Heaven Court failed to destroy it in later ages. It only grew stronger, and by the Supreme Sovereign Era, the Heaven Alliance even slew Earth Mother Primordial Lady!
