Yama Possession Versus Grandmaster Possession

1/5/2026

When Warren Yuan said that, Ryan Ling was stunned too. He could see even more clearly than Warren—inside the Grandmaster Cemetery, at least seven or eight grandmaster ghosts had crawled out, all baring their fangs and looking vicious as they lunged straight at Tony "Tiger" Wang.

Obviously, these ghosts were all on pretty good terms with Tiger Wang in life. Now, seeing Little Hades in such a huge crisis and Tiger Wang on the verge of death, every grandmaster ghost who’d ever been close to him or benefited from his incense offerings came rushing out to help. In a flash, they all dove straight into Tiger Wang’s body.

Tiger Wang was basically about to keel over, but with all those grandmaster ghosts possessing him, it was like he’d just been hit with a dozen adrenaline shots. Instantly, his vitality came roaring back and his life force exploded.

Not only did he spring back to life, it was like he’d gotten younger—his white hair and beard turned jet-black in an instant, and his wrinkled skin tightened up, looking tough and strong. He basically looked like he’d reverted to his early thirties.

Even crazier, with so many grandmaster ghosts boosting him, his power multiplied several times over. The black gang-qi around him instantly whipped up into several swirling cyclones.

Right now, Tiger Wang was way stronger than the Hong Family Grandmaster Ancestor ever was—and the whole Grandmaster Cemetery was trembling, like the place itself was still pumping him full of power!

At that moment, all the martial artists watching the show went dead silent, faces twisted in shock. The joint-defense officers who’d been ready to break out the drums and celebrate cracking Little Hades couldn’t take it—they all bolted. Even Jason Lin, Warren Yuan, and the others were chattering their teeth; nobody was ready for this mess, and it hit way too fast.

And honestly, it wasn’t just them—even Ryan Ling’s face changed. He knew the whole situation had flipped. Sure, he was the Netherworld Crown Prince, crazy high status in the underworld, but Tiger Wang had basically turned into a rebel warlord. There was no way he’d still be scared of Ryan’s identity now.

"Hahaha, kid, bet you didn’t see that coming! Gotta say, you’re pretty damn tough—not just tricky, but your status is no joke. But now, no matter how strong you are, I’m not scared of you anymore. Come on, let’s see who can hurt who!" Tiger Wang was riding high, and suddenly, he slammed down and knelt on the ground.

He knelt down hard, and Ryan Ling was instantly hit by a crushing pressure, like a giant boulder was weighing him down. He jerked his head up—there were seven or eight savage grandmaster ghosts pressing down on him...

He didn’t even see their faces clearly—before he knew it, he was hit with an attack like nothing he’d ever experienced, and with a thunderous crash, he was flung straight into the air.

"Hahaha! You’ve got your kneeling divine skill, but I’ve got mine too. This is called giving you a taste of your own medicine! You think you can play sneaky with me, Tiger Wang? You’re still too green!" Tiger Wang was loving every second, especially now that Ryan Ling couldn’t hold out anymore.

The villagers who’d been terrified before all suddenly went wild, cheering like it was a festival. Especially the ladies from the women’s committee—they totally let loose, tossing flirty looks and air kisses at Tiger Wang, like every old gal in Little Hades wanted to be his queen. Even some fresh-faced old men were batting their eyes at him. The whole village was so hyped it was honestly kind of nauseating.

Meanwhile, seeing Ryan Ling suddenly get smashed away, all the Harbor City brothers were stunned. The reversal was so wild, nobody saw it coming. Everyone was frozen, and when they tried to rush over and help Ryan, not a single person could get close.

Clearly, the grandmaster ghosts from the cemetery had sealed off every exit. What Ryan just did was basically a death sentence from them.

Even faced with this disaster, Ryan Ling refused to just sit and wait for death. He instantly pushed the first layer of the Purgatory Soul-Suppressing Art to the max—but the first layer wasn’t perfected yet, and even at full power, he was barely holding up against the crushing pressure from so many grandmaster ghosts. To make things worse, he still had his killer move, the Red Dragon Slash—a demon-slaying sword that, paired with the Purgatory Soul-Suppressing Art, was supposed to be a game-changer. He’d been saving it for a clutch moment, but now, with all these ghosts pressing down, he couldn’t even draw the sword.

That made him even more tense—his trump cards were all burned up in an instant!

"Ha! Kid, now you finally get how tough I am—how tough Little Hades really is! This is my ace in the hole, and it’s why the whole East River Province is scared of us. You think it’s just our skills? I’ll spell it out for you: our village and the Grandmaster Cemetery are one and the same—if one falls, both fall, if one thrives, both thrive. You wanna wipe us out? No matter how many martial artists you bring, you’re all dead!" Tiger Wang was practically buzzing, finally spilling the real secret behind Little Hades.

"That’s right—Little Hades is mighty! Today, every intruder dies, and every corpse gets hung at the village gate for three days! Round them all up!" yelled one of the village committee members.

In a flash, Ryan’s brothers, the curious martial artists, even the joint-defense officers who’d almost escaped the village, were all surrounded—every killing intent and scream was aimed right at them.

The martial artists and joint-defense officers were already in tears, totally regretting everything. But faced with the crazed villagers of Little Hades, what could they do?

"No way, we’re brothers till death! Even if we die, we die with our boss. We may be weak, but we’re not leaving him!"

"Damn right—let’s go! If our master suffers, it’s as good as us suffering. I’m not afraid of death, bring it on!"

"All together! Screw it, we’re dead anyway—if we have to die, we die with our brothers!"

At that moment, Warren Yuan, Jason Lin, Millionaire Jin, Frank Qin, and all the brothers stood up. In this crisis, none of them panicked—not even Millionaire Jin, who gritted his teeth and clenched his fists, ready to risk it all.

Brotherhood runs deep as the sea!

Seeing them charge in, fearless of death, Ryan Ling’s blood boiled. To have met these guys in his life was his greatest honor.

But just as they rushed in, just as they were about to reach Ryan, a blast of grandmaster gang-qi swept over. In an instant, everyone was grabbed by the throat and lifted up by a wild, crushing force—even zombie Frank Qin’s face twisted in pain.

"Brothers!" Ryan Ling saw this and his heart nearly shattered. Nothing hurt him more than seeing his friends and family suffer or die for his sake!

"Brothers? Kid, you sure are loyal. Since you care so much, I’ll torture them first—make them wish they were dead!" Tiger Wang sneered, and his gang-qi turned into black whips that lashed Warren Yuan, Jason Lin, and the others. Agonized screams echoed through Little Hades.

"You bastard! I—I swear I’ll skin you alive!" Ryan Ling shouted, boiling with rage.

"Holy crap, what’s going on? Are all these grandmasters staging a revolt?" Just then, the System’s voice rang out.

"System, perfect timing! Help me—whatever you charge, I’ll pay! I’m killing this bastard and wiping out Little Hades, or I swear I’m not human!" Ryan roared, fists clenched.

"Alright, relax. Grandmaster possession is nothing. I’ve got your dad’s aura right here—activating Yama possession now! Yama versus grandmaster—hell, even if a hundred grandmasters were in that bastard, he’s dead meat…" The System was furious too, ready to unleash hell.
