"Is there such a place in the Vermilion Kingdom?"

You'll have to ask Shannon to check. How would I know?

"So, what happens after we find the Dragon's Nexus?"

Leon Zane flashed a pure, innocent smile and said, "If we find it, I'll tell you then."

"Alright, you and Shan'er go look for the Dragon's Nexus," Evan Xiao said. "I need to speed up her cultivation so she can find the antidote for the Winterbane poison faster."

"Is it really just for the antidote?" Leon Zane grinned mischievously.

Evan Xiao glanced at him expressionlessly and said nothing.

The Spirit Alliance holds a Spiritual Alchemist qualification exam every year.

This year's exam will be held on the third day after the Mentor Appreciation Banquet.

The Spiritual Alchemist qualification exam is extremely strict.

All exam questions are set by the Spirit Alliance headquarters, and the next-level Spirit Alliance sends officials to oversee the exam.

After the exam, the results are immediately sealed and sent back to headquarters.

Then, after a while, the results are sent directly from headquarters for announcement.

During the exam, the venue is closed off; only those taking the test are allowed inside.

Lily Xu isn't taking the exam this year.

But she kept circling around outside the exam hall, feeling as restless as a cat with its tail on fire.

Finally, she couldn't stand it anymore and ran off to find Winston Wood.

Winston Wood was in his own lounge, sipping tea with a smile, admiring a rare Spirit Gem in his hand.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door—three heavy, three light.

Winston Wood smiled faintly and went to open the door.

"Vice President Winston Wu," Lily Xu called out.

"Do you need something from me?"

"I just have a few questions for you."

"Come in!" After Lily Xu entered, Winston Wood locked the door behind her.

"So, what's up?" Winston Wood asked.

"I'm just feeling really restless!" Lily Xu said.

"Restless?" Winston Wood leered and gave Lily Xu's butt a squeeze. "So you came to me to let off some steam, huh?"

"No way!" Lily Xu giggled and dodged. "What if Grace Lawrence actually passes the Level Five Spiritual Alchemist exam? Do I really have to kneel and apologize to her at the Spirit Alliance conference?"

"Don't worry, she won't pass!" Winston Wood said confidently.

"How do you know she won't pass? What if she does?" Lily Xu fretted. "I feel like she's pretty strong. And her master is actually an Imperial Alchemist!"

Winston Wood chuckled and said, "There are nine Examiner Envoys this time. Each level is overseen by a different envoy."

"I know, it's like that every year, isn't it?"

"The envoy in charge of Level Five—I've already bribed her. She promised Grace Lawrence won't pass!"

"So that's how it is!" Lily Xu patted her ample chest. "Why didn't you say so earlier? I was worried for nothing!"

Winston Wood's eyes gleamed wickedly. He pulled her into his arms, hands roaming over her body. "You never asked!"

"Oh, you're so bad!" Lily Xu teased, rubbing her curves against him. "It's broad daylight—what are you trying to do?"

"What do you think I'm trying to do?" Winston Wood handed her the hairpin he'd been admiring. "I saved this just for you—better than anything the palace ladies have!"

Lily Xu took it, batting her lashes seductively. "Thank you, Vice President."

"So tell me, who's better to you—me or Andrew Zhao?"

"How could he compare to you? I'm just playing with him to piss off that Joanna Zuo—that bitch!"
