Now that the company was no longer facing bankruptcy, Mark Su looked noticeably more energetic.
After some casual conversation, Ian Song suddenly suggested, "Uncle Su, I've been studying Eastern Medicine massage techniques lately. How about I give you a massage? It might help with your condition."
Hearing this, the three members of the Su family all looked at Ian in surprise.
But since Ian had just helped the Su family with such a huge favor, and was clearly acting out of goodwill, there was no reason to refuse.
So Mark Su nodded, "Alright, I'll trouble you then, Ian!"
Ian smiled and walked to the bedside, motioning for Mark Su to lie flat. He then began massaging Mark's body, subtly channeling a thread of true essence as he worked. Mark felt extremely comfortable, half-closing his eyes and saying, "Ian, your massage technique is pretty good. With just a few presses, I feel several pounds lighter."
"Is that so?" Ian replied with a noncommittal smile.
Watching from the side, Mira Su's eyes sparkled. This little man was getting more and more mysterious—was there anything he couldn't do?
After about ten minutes of massage, Ian quietly sent a wisp of true essence into Mark Su's Deep-Sleep Point, instantly sending him into deep, restful slumber.
"Radiance of Life!"
With a silent command, Ian sent a beam of Radiance of Life straight into Mark Su's heart. In just a few seconds, his heart was completely healed.
Ian continued massaging for a while longer before finally stopping.
"Ian, your massage skills are incredible! Old Su has always had trouble sleeping, but look at him now—he's sleeping like a baby!" Helen Tang praised, her gaze toward Ian growing softer and warmer.
"You're too kind, Auntie. I'm really just a beginner," Ian said modestly.
After staying in the hospital room a little longer, Ian said his goodbyes, already worrying about how he'd explain his sudden disappearance to Charles Zhao when he returned to the Zhao residence.
Outside the hospital, Mira Su looked at Ian, her expression complicated. "When are you leaving Flame City?"
"Tomorrow morning. What, can't bear to see me go?" Ian teased.
"As if!"
"Are there really such beautiful female ghosts in the world?"
"Smooth talker!"
"Want to give it a try?" Ian said as he mischievously moved in and hugged Mira Su.
"No way... This is a hospital!" Mira Su quickly wriggled out of Ian's embrace, jumping to the side and staring at him with mock alarm.
By the time Ian got back to the Zhao residence, it was already seven in the evening. He didn't run into Charles Zhao, so he managed to avoid having to explain himself—for now.
However, during dinner, Charles Zhao showed up uninvited.
"Fourth Uncle, have you eaten? Want to join us?" Ian asked, feeling a bit guilty.
"No need, I've already eaten." Suddenly, a lecherous grin spread across Charles Zhao's face. "Ian, you're something else! Went out for a meal and ended up picking up a gorgeous beauty. Was it fun?"
Ian was stunned, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Fourth Uncle, how did you know?"
Charles Zhao grinned smugly. "Heh, did you really think your Fourth Uncle is deaf and blind? I heard the commotion in the hallway and knew what was up. Since you were having a stroke of peach-blossom luck and that guy wasn't a threat, I didn't step in! So, how was it? I heard you didn't get back until seven—spent most of the afternoon at it, huh? Want me to have someone prepare some tiger or deer whips to give you a boost?"
Realizing Charles Zhao already knew, Ian saw no point in hiding anything. "By the way, Fourth Uncle, could I ask you for a favor?"
"Go ahead."
Ian hesitated for a moment, then said, "The woman from this afternoon used to be my boss. Her father's company ran into some trouble—I'm pretty sure someone deliberately targeted it. Could you help investigate who was behind it?"
"Sure, no problem. Just tell me the details!"
Ian briefly explained the Su family's situation to Charles Zhao, who then pulled out his phone and made a call.
Ten minutes after hanging up, his phone rang again.
After answering, Charles Zhao said to Ian, "It's all clear now. The culprit is a scion from a minor clan who has his eye on Mark Su's company. He set up a trap on purpose. But don't worry, I'll have someone deliver a message—give him ten times the courage, he still won't dare mess with Mark Su again!"
"Thank you, Fourth Uncle!" Ian said gratefully.
Inside the ultra-luxurious Golden Glory Club, one of Flame City's top venues...
In the VIP suite, Darren Yang was groping a voluptuous woman, just about to take things to the next level...
Suddenly, the door slammed open and a group of black-clad men barged in.
"Damn it, who are you? Who let you in? Get the hell out!" Darren Yang, furious at having his fun interrupted, shouted at the group of men.
"Young Master Yang, you're really fired up tonight! Maybe you should cool off a little!" someone joked.
"Cool off yourself...!"
Before he could finish cursing, Darren Yang swallowed his words, hurriedly stood up from the sofa, and became noticeably more respectful. Facing the young man in the white suit who entered the suite, he said, "Young Master Yuan, what brings you here?"
The newcomer was Harvey Yuan, third young master of the Yuan Family.
Although the Yang Family was one of Flame City's prominent clans, they were nothing compared to the Yuan Family—especially since Harvey Yuan was a formidable martial artist.
Harvey Yuan glanced coolly at Darren Yang. "Young Master Yang, I've been asked to deliver a message: let the matter with Mark Su end here."
Hearing this, Darren Yang was shocked. Very few people could get Harvey Yuan to deliver a message personally. He'd investigated Mark Su before setting the trap and found he was just an ordinary businessman with no real backing—so where did this powerful support suddenly come from?
"Young Master Yuan, may I ask who sent you...?"
"You're not qualified to know!" Harvey Yuan's expression turned cold. "I've delivered the message—whether you listen is up to you. But let me warn you: don't bring trouble to your Yang Family!"
Once Harvey Yuan left, Darren Yang slumped back onto the sofa, his face dark and stormy. He was annoyed by Harvey Yuan's attitude, but the warning not to bring disaster to the Yang Family made him uneasy. He'd already decided to apologize to Mark Su tomorrow—and maybe test the waters while he was at it.
The next day, Ian and the Zhao family said their farewells and boarded the plane back to Riverstone City. Just before boarding, he received a message from Mira Su: 'Little man, safe travels.'
At Flame City First Hospital, Mark Su woke up feeling completely refreshed and energetic, as if he'd become years younger. Most importantly, the pain in his heart was gone.
"You slept a really long time—over ten hours!" Helen Tang said happily, delighted by her husband's healthy complexion.
"I slept that long?" Mark Su exclaimed in surprise.
"No kidding, you slept a full fifteen hours!" Helen Tang replied.
"I remember falling asleep while Ian was massaging me. His technique really is amazing! Anyway, I feel completely healed. Go tell my attending physician I'm ready to be discharged!" Mark Su said thoughtfully.
Soon, Mark Su's attending physician arrived in the ward. He was visibly surprised when he saw Mark and said, "Mr. Su, you look great!"
Mark Su stretched his chest and said, "Yeah, I feel full of energy. I'm planning to be discharged!"
"Alright, I'll schedule a routine checkup. If everything's fine, I'll arrange for your discharge!"

Twenty minutes later, Dr. Ethan Xie, Mark Su's attending physician, glanced over the test report and couldn't help but frown.
