"Uh—let me think about it!" Shawn Young was still struggling to process the sudden turn of events. Becoming the secret owner of a casino was such a dramatic change in status that it left his mind spinning.
"And look, the Golden Mountain Casino is well-built and beautifully decorated. If you run it right, the income could be amazing! Shawn, you could be raking in cash every single day!" Martin Yang egged him on.
"Wow! Raking in cash every day! Uh—after expenses, how much could I actually pocket in a day?" Shawn perked up at the mention of big money. He knew now just how powerful and irresistible cash could be!
"Based on a conservative estimate, if business stays steady, after paying staff and covering casino expenses, equipment, and the Kachin Tribe’s share, you should still be clearing ten grand a day!" Martin Yang explained.
"Ten grand! In US dollars! So I’d be making hundreds of thousands every day!? That’s insane!" Shawn’s jaw dropped so wide you could probably fit an ostrich egg in his mouth.
"Exactly! And that’s not counting the other businesses Nick Carter and Goldtooth run! Uh—once Nick Carter is out of the picture, this place will be ours and the Kachin Tribe’s. Those guys are eager to do business, but they need our help! It’s a win-win! You’ll get an even bigger share, Shawn! After all, you took down both Nick Carter and Goldtooth! Just for that, you deserve at least a third of the profits in the Mai Zayan zone! Now that’s a serious chunk of change!" Martin Yang kept tempting Shawn.
"Whoa—alright! I’m in!" Shawn quickly accepted the irresistible offer. Money, money, money—he needed it so badly! And with Martin Yang backing him, he had nothing to worry about.
"Haha—congratulations, Shawn, you’re now the new owner of Golden Mountain Casino! You really know how to make a decision!" Martin Yang beamed, his round face flushed with excitement and his eyes nearly closed in delight. As a shrewd old-timer, he’d put his chips on Shawn not just to follow the rules of the Hongmen, but because he saw real potential. With his sharp eye, he knew that for the legendary Taoist Master Taixuan to favor Shawn, it couldn’t be just for his looks. If Shawn didn’t have real skills and a strong background, Taixuan would never have given him the precious Hongmen jade token. Martin had already done his own secret digging—Shawn apparently had some mysterious official background back in China! On the surface, he was just a college student, but his future prospects were limitless. Besides, anyone who could take down Nick Carter and Goldtooth, who even the Kachin Tribe and Martin Yang wouldn’t dare mess with, and who could talk to spirits—how could he possibly be ordinary?
Flushed at Martin Yang’s praise, Shawn hurriedly said, "Well, I really don’t know how to run a casino, so I’ll be counting on you and Mr. Chow a lot. I’m planning to give half the casino’s shares to Zach Chow! He did a ton of work in this operation and suffered quite a bit for it!"
"Uh—Shawn, you—you really don’t have to! I, Zach Chow, am happy to help you! I can’t accept a share of the casino!" Zach Chow hurried forward, waving his hands to refuse.
"Mr. Chow, please don’t turn me down! Without your help, things could’ve gone sideways, and you’re the Ghost-Hand Gambling Sage—an absolute expert in casino management! With you here, it’ll be hard not to make money! I’m asking you for a favor, so please don’t refuse me!" Shawn pleaded.
"Uh—Shawn, I’m helping you because I want to. Look, I’ll help manage the casino, but I really don’t want any shares. I don’t need the money—I just love honing my gambling skills!" Zach Chow replied, his face turning red.
"Mr. Chow, it wouldn’t be right. Having the Ghost-Hand Gambling Sage watching over the casino is a huge honor—others would kill for that! If I don’t give you shares, what does that say about me? So please, don’t refuse anymore!" Shawn said sincerely, both flattering and genuinely asking for his help.
"Oh, Zach Chow! Don’t be so stubborn! You’re an old hand at this, and if Shawn values you enough to offer shares, you should accept! Stop pushing it away—you’re supposed to be a real man of the world! Be bold about it!" Martin Yang chimed in.
"Uh—well, if you all think so highly of me, then I’ll just accept with gratitude!" Zach Chow finally agreed.
"Haha, Zach Chow, you’ve got yourself a home now—no more wandering the world! Still, with your skills, running just one casino is a bit of a waste. But don’t worry, soon Mai Zayan will be ours. Once we clear out Nick Carter’s crew, our business is going to expand!" Martin Yang said confidently.
"Mm-hmm, I’ll make sure this casino runs like clockwork!" Zach Chow was straightforward.
Just then, Leon Longhair, who’d been peeking from the back door, nervously led Luna and Rainie inside. Seeing Nick Carter and Goldtooth knocked out cold on the ground, they realized Shawn and the others had taken control. Leon Longhair was instantly thrilled, stepped forward, and gave a big thumbs up: "Hahaha—Mr. Shawn, you’re incredible! You took down those two big shots in no time!"
Shawn nodded, glanced at Luna and Rainie, who were safe and sound, and patted Leon Longhair on the shoulder. "Leon, you really worked hard this time!"
"Not at all, Mr. Shawn! It’s an honor to work for you!" Leon Longhair had just watched the whole thing from behind the door with Luna and Rainie. Seeing even Martin Yang treat Shawn with such respect, he realized Shawn was way more formidable than he’d thought. For Leon, this was the perfect moment to show loyalty and latch onto a big shot, so he brought Luna and Rainie out to claim some credit.

"Alright, Leon, you’ve worked hard. Tell me, what do you want? If it’s within my power, I’ll make it happen!" Shawn saw Leon’s eager face and knew exactly what he was after.
"I—I don’t want anything. I just want to follow you, Mr. Shawn! Whatever you ask, I’ll do it! I’ll go through hell and high water without batting an eye!" Leon Longhair thumped his chest in promise.
"Oh! Haha—good! In that case, you’ll stick with Mr. Chow! He’s the Ghost-Hand Gambling Sage, so he’ll set you up with a job. Make the most of it!" Shawn patted Leon Longhair on the shoulder.
"Great! Great! I promise I’ll do my best and never let you down!" Leon Longhair’s eyes sparkled with excitement. Shawn had just accepted him in front of everyone, which meant he was now a trusted aide. With a big boss to lean on, life was about to get a whole lot easier!
"Uh—Martin, you and Mr. Chow handle things here. I’ve got other business to take care of!" At this moment, Shawn saw David Yu lying dazed on top of Fiona Chin, while Fiona, ever the seductress, was rubbing her ample white chest against him, trying her best to please. She was smart enough to know her fate was now in Shawn’s hands—if she wanted to survive, she’d have to keep him happy.
Shawn eyed Fiona Chin’s provocative display, feeling a stir below his belly. He grabbed Rainie Bai, waved Luna and Rainie over, pulled all three women close, then walked over to Fiona and said, "Fiona, come with us for a moment!"
"Mm—I get it—" Fiona quickly covered her white chest with one hand and tugged down her revealing skirt with the other, hurriedly standing up. She knew very well—pleasing Shawn was far more useful than pleasing David Yu!
