Where Did Charles Go

1/4/2026

Sophie Mo hadn’t said a word, but that didn’t mean she was weak or easy to bully.

“Miss Ran, you’re really something. You keep blaming the real wife and demanding to know where her husband is. Looks like men are getting so scarce these days that even someone as outstanding as you can’t wait to snatch someone else’s husband—and you do it with such confidence! I honestly don’t know how single women like me, who aren’t pretty enough, are supposed to survive. Since I refuse to steal someone else’s man, I guess I’m destined to be alone forever!” Sophie’s voice was gentle, but every word dripped with sarcasm, making Sylvia Ran’s face turn pale, then flushed.

“Miss Mo, out of respect for Mr. Mo, I won’t argue with you. But please stay out of this.” Despite Sophie’s biting sarcasm, Sylvia Ran didn’t dare go against her.

She knew exactly what Sophie Mo’s position was in the Mo Family.

Sylvia Ran was well aware of what the Mo Family represented.

But Cecilia Gu was different.

If Cecilia divorced Charles Yin, she’d be just an ordinary woman with no backing at all.

Bullying a regular woman like her would be a piece of cake.

But Sophie Mo just smiled and clearly took Cecilia’s side. She spoke up, “Sorry, but the Mo Family’s motto is to help when we see injustice. If I hadn’t seen it, I wouldn’t get involved. But Miss Ran, you tried to bully the real wife right in front of me!”

Sylvia Ran’s face grew even uglier.

Cecilia Gu was thinking about something else entirely.

If Charles Yin isn't in K City, then where could he be?

N City? S City?

Ever since I stormed out of the house, I haven't contacted anyone there.

I haven't even reached out to A and the others, so I really have no idea where they went.

Well, honestly, wherever they went—what does it have to do with me anyway?

Sylvia Ran did get one thing right: I'm destined to get divorced sooner or later.

So why bother guessing where Charles Yin is?

Cecilia Gu spoke softly, "I don't know where he is, and I don't care. I have no idea how you found out I was on this boat. I guess Sean Kerr is resourceful enough to track me down, but that's all just your speculation—it has nothing to do with me. If you want to look for Charles Yin, go ahead! Just don't disturb my peace."

Sylvia Ran glared at Cecilia Gu, "How is that possible? I've searched every branch office—he's nowhere to be found! If he's not coming to see you, then where else could he go?"
