Hell Mad Blade Eighteen Styles

"We really haven't heard about this, Captain. Why don't you tell us the story?" Ryan Ling perked up as soon as he heard the words 'Hell', instantly interested.

The captain chuckled, looking a bit smug—after all, even a bigshot like Ryan Ling was asking him for a story. He quickly launched into the legend of Guihai One-Blade.

"Guihai One-Blade was a man obsessed with saber arts—a total maniac, honestly. He practiced saber from childhood, apprenticed to who knows how many famous masters, but most thought he'd gone off the deep end, too knife-crazy to keep training, afraid he'd lose control and go completely mad. So almost nobody wanted to teach him. But somehow, this guy picked up an insanely powerful and bizarre saber style, way too fierce for any normal person. After that, he came alone to the East Sea to train. People say they saw him standing on the waves, slashing so wildly that each strike whipped up waves over ten meters high. And get this—one slash supposedly split an entire island in two..."

As he spoke, the captain jabbed his finger at Saint Trace Island.

"You mean this island was split like that by a saber?" Jason Lin scratched his head, looking totally incredulous.

Everyone nearby was stunned too—Saint Trace Island is at least ten kilometers wide north to south. Splitting it in two with a single slash? That's just mind-blowing.

The captain seemed worried they wouldn't believe him, so he thumped his chest and swore, "I'm telling the truth! Guihai One-Blade split it himself—I'd stake my life on it!"

He acted like he'd seen it with his own eyes—his face was even turning red as he spoke.

Ryan Ling just smiled calmly. Maybe there really is such a top-tier saber art in the world, but unless you see it for yourself, it's pretty hard to believe.

But then the captain flicked away his cigarette and added mysteriously, "By the way, do you know who Guihai One-Blade learned his saber art from? Not a human—from a Ghost King!"
