Fire Spirit Physique

Victor Su's face was full of excitement.

Beside him, Second Brother Su and Eldest Brother Su were utterly shocked.

"Master Lin! You... you're the same Master Lin from Seacrest who stabilized Molly's illness before!" Second Brother Su and Eldest Brother Su finally put it together, blurting out in disbelief.

Molly Su's illness had always been the biggest worry for everyone in the Su family.

Earlier, Victor Su had taken Molly to Seacrest hoping for help from Medicine King Valley, but they were useless. He then tried to find a Miracle Hand Sect doctor, but those guys, while skilled, were totally unethical and ruthless—at one point, Victor and Molly nearly got caught in their trap.

Luckily, they ran into Master Lin from Seacrest, who not only delayed Molly's illness but also killed that Medicine King Valley doctor on the spot—his methods were nothing short of miraculous.

Eldest Brother Su had wanted to visit such a master, but had no clue how—who would've thought the legendary Master Lin would turn out to be so young?

After all, the rumors said Master Lin from Seacrest could kill multiple Vajra experts and stomp Mystic Arts Adepts—he was a total powerhouse!

If Evan Lin hadn't just crushed Nathan Lin with a few casual moves, Eldest Brother Su would probably still think he was just some scammer.

"Oh my god, Master Lin, the legendary Master Lin from Seacrest! How did I not realize it sooner?" Second Brother Su slapped his own forehead, totally fired up, his gaze at Evan Lin turning even more fawning and intense.

"Master Lin from Seacrest! I really didn't recognize you. I never imagined the legendary Master Lin would be so young and accomplished!" Eldest Brother Su hung his head, sounding a bit regretful.

Evan Lin glanced at the tea set on the table. Molly Su quickly stepped forward and personally brewed a pot of Pre-Rain Dragon Well tea for him, filling the room with its fragrance.

"I'm here to cure her illness once and for all, but I need an absolutely quiet place—preferably windowless, airtight, and completely undisturbed."

Evan picked up the teacup and took a sip.

"We have one! The Su family has a basement that's totally secluded. I'll have people guard the door so no one disturbs you, Master!"

Victor Su thought for a moment, then carefully asked, "Master, when will you begin?"

Molly Su looked at Evan Lin with hopeful eyes. Her strange illness had tortured her for years, making a normal life impossible.

Even going to school, Victor Su always hired private tutors to teach her at home, afraid her illness might flare up suddenly.

"Right now."

Evan Lin set down his teacup and stood up.

The basement was tucked beneath the Su family's rear garden, with a hidden staircase leading down. The walls were lined with gray stone bricks, and the air inside was a bit dry.

Further in, there was a space of about twenty square meters, not much dust anywhere—clearly someone cleaned it often.

Evan Lin walked down, glanced around, and nodded in approval.

Victor Su and the others soon withdrew. Eldest Brother Su had been injured by Nathan Lin's sword sheath—not a serious wound, but he still needed some time to recover.

Second Brother Su eagerly volunteered to guard the door, promising no one would disturb them.

Once everyone had left, only Evan Lin and Molly Su remained in the basement.

The basement lighting was dim, and in that soft glow, Molly Su's pretty face looked even gentler than usual.

She looked at Evan Lin, noticing his gaze sweeping over her, which made her heart race. "Master?"

She mumbled, a little nervous.

"Don't worry. It might hurt a bit, but just tough it out and it'll be over soon," Evan Lin said with a smile.

But as soon as he finished speaking, he noticed Molly Su give a soft reply, her cheeks turning even redder and more bashful—which made Evan Lin instantly realize the situation.

Right now, it was just a guy and a girl alone in a room. Plus, what he'd just said was pretty easy to misinterpret...

Evan Lin shook his head, deciding not to explain further.

Evan Lin stepped forward and pressed his right finger to the spot between Molly Su's brows. Instantly, streams of spiritual qi flowed from Evan into her body.

A faint glow wrapped around Molly Su. She felt warmth flooding her whole body, those currents of energy from Evan's fingertip quickly turning into countless white ribbons inside her meridians.

As those white ribbons drifted through Molly's body, she suddenly let out a soft gasp—and streaks of fiery-colored blood appeared inside her.

Evan Lin frowned slightly. The temperature at his fingertip was rising fast, and even the spiritual qi he'd sent into Molly was getting cautious, like facing a dangerous enemy.

"As expected, it's the Fire Spirit Physique. Even the most ordinary grade showing up on Earth is pretty rare."

Evan Lin focused, using spiritual qi to probe Molly Su's meridians. He guided the white ribbons upstream through her vessels, searching for the source of the fire.

The further he went, the hotter it got—even her blood seemed to be boiling.

Soon, Evan Lin discovered—just outside Molly Su's heart—a humanoid shape wreathed in fire, sitting cross-legged atop her heart. The blazing flames from this fiery figure were making the blood around her heart boil.

Most of her heart was now a deep, fiery red—just one look was enough to make your skin crawl.

"If I'd come any later, the Fire Spirit Physique would have backlashed and devoured her. On the Immortal Martial Continent, this kind of spirit body is priceless, but on Earth, for a mortal, it's pure torture—like being burned alive every day."

"Still, I guess this works out for me."

Evan Lin muttered to himself.

Next, Evan Lin formed a hand seal with his left hand and began tracing intricate patterns in the air.

With every stroke, sweat beaded on Evan's forehead and a wave of fatigue crept through his body.

"This Heaven-Devouring Creation Art was invented by the Heaven-Devouring Demon Lord to steal others' talents. Later, I killed him and took the technique for myself. I always thought I'd never use such a sinister art, but today, looks like it's finally come in handy."

Evan Lin sighed. As the final stroke fell in the air, a tiny, bizarre skull appeared before him. Evan gently pressed his palm and sent it flying into Molly Su's body.

Molly Su let out a muffled groan. Her delicate skin flushed pink, and as the pain hit, her brows furrowed even deeper.
