Lily Tang's first strike lit up orange, which meant she could advance to the second round of the test.
Looks like her strength isn't bad. I wonder if she can make the screen flash yellow.
Lily Tang smiled in Evan Chu's direction, placing her hands flat in front of her chest. Only now did Evan really get a good look at that part of her.
"So big!" That was his first reaction. He hadn't expected this 'mother tyrannosaurus' to be not only beautiful, but also shockingly well-endowed—even more so than Jenny Sima.
Suddenly, Lily Tang leapt into the air, flipping several times before diving headfirst toward the Testing Screen.
"Peerless Twin Palms!" she shouted, unleashing a force like toppling mountains and overturning seas onto the screen. Instantly, a yellow light appeared before the crowd.
Lily struck, withdrew, and landed—all in one smooth motion, crisp and clean. With her veil long gone, her devastating beauty was revealed to everyone.
"Wow! Gorgeous! I like her!" one disciple below couldn't help shouting.
"Amazing, she actually made the screen flash yellow. And that attack stance—she looked like a fairy dancing in midair!
She's wearing purple today, so I've decided to give her a beautiful nickname: Purple Cloud Fairy!" a flashy young man shouted loudly.
But the flashy guy's suggestion quickly caught on with the crowd, and Lily Tang's nickname 'Purple Cloud Fairy' spread through Heavenly Dragon Academy in no time.
Evan Chu broke out in a cold sweat when he heard the nickname 'Purple Cloud Fairy.' If a 'mother tyrannosaurus' could be called a fairy, the world was truly going mad.
After her second attack, Lily Tang's forehead was beaded with fragrant sweat, clearly having spent a lot of stellar force. With the screen showing yellow, she'd achieved her goal and skipped her third strike.
Stepping down from the stage, she walked up to Evan Chu and smiled: "Didn't let you down, did I?"
"Not at all. I never thought you'd be this strong!" Evan Chu said seriously—Lily Tang showing Earth Martial Realm strength was genuinely surprising.
"No matter how strong I am, I can't compare to you, you monster! I'm starting to wonder if you cheated—how could anyone have attack power above fourth-level Earth Martial?" Lily Tang joked, half-suspicious.
Next up was Roxanne Lin. Lily Tang looked at the woman whose beauty matched her own and said, "Roxanne Lin, I hope you can surprise us too!"
"I won't let you down!" Roxanne Lin replied, though seeing Lily Tang getting closer to Evan Chu stirred a quiet anger in her heart.
Jenny Sima looked at the two women beside Evan Chu and suddenly felt the pressure mounting. Roxanne Lin was his fiancée, that much was set in stone.
But this Lily Tang seemed to have an interest in Evan Chu too. Then again, with Evan's talent, it was no wonder girls were drawn to him.
Roxanne Lin now stood before the Testing Screen, slowly circulating her stellar force. Wisps of wind appeared in the air, as countless elemental particles gathered in her hands, gradually forming a red flame.
The flame grew larger and larger, turning into a massive fireball. Evan Chu saw this and immediately asked Lily Tang beside him, "How did that fireball form?"
Lily Tang glanced at him, wondering if he was playing dumb. "You don't know? That's fire element—it's formed from fire elemental energy. You really don't know?"
Hearing about elements again, Evan Chu realized how little he knew about this stuff. "How do you form it? I honestly have no idea."
Gus Bullard laughed, "Hahaha! Evan Chu, even I know this and you don't? Once you comprehend an elemental attribute, you just merge it with stellar force!"
Evan Chu felt a sweatdrop crawling up his forehead—he really was ignorant. Just as he was about to ask more, Roxanne Lin moved on stage.
The fireball hovered in front of her, and her hands traced a series of perfectly fluid movements, like a graceful dance—every motion was flawless.
Everyone below watched Roxanne Lin's every move in stunned silence, as if mesmerized by the elegance of her technique.
After a few breaths, Roxanne Lin's hands flashed with faint blue light. She suddenly shouted, "Vermilion Bird Flame-Chasing Wave!" A virtual firebird, accompanied by a phoenix-like cry, shot toward the Testing Screen.
The screen was struck by the firebird and instantly erupted in dazzling yellow light, though there was a faint hint of green mixed in—a strange sight.
Roxanne Lin looked exhausted, her pale face covered in fragrant sweat, breathing heavily—clearly, this martial skill had drained her.
The crowd was shocked yet again—another yellow light appeared, meaning this young woman had Earth Martial Realm strength. The square buzzed with excited discussion.
Everyone stared at Roxanne Lin in amazement. "Another beauty! So gorgeous!"
"She and that Purple Cloud Fairy are equally matched. Seeing her fireball attack, I've decided to call her Fire Spirit Fairy!" the same flashy young man shouted.
And so, Roxanne Lin's nickname 'Fire Spirit Fairy' spread through the crowd.
Actually, lots of people could use martial skills, but most required weapons. Unarmed skills were generally much weaker.
Roxanne Lin's Vermilion Bird Flame-Chasing Wave was definitely linked to her Vermilion Bird Mark, and this move was clearly even stronger than her Ocean of Blossoms.
Roxanne Lin slowly stepped down from the platform, while Evan Chu was still replaying her martial skill in his mind—how could a Vermilion Bird phantom actually appear? It was incredible.
"Once you cultivate Ninefold Stellar Transformation, you'll be able to manifest phantoms too—and yours will be far more powerful," Luna's voice echoed.
"Ninefold Stellar Transformation? Who knows how long that'll take... Though I feel like I might be close to breaking through to sixth-level Mystic Warrior," Evan Chu thought to himself.
"Don't rush. After you have that encounter with Jenny Sima, then break through—you'll get results you never imagined."
Just thinking of Jenny Sima made Evan Chu feel complicated. He'd been completely exposed in front of her, and she'd nearly become a woman that night.
"Evan, did I disappoint you?" Roxanne Lin walked up to him and smiled.
"Not at all, you really surprised me. That move must be related to your mark—when did you learn it?"
"When you performed that plain-looking sword strike, the technique suddenly appeared in my mind. I never expected my first try would actually work!"
Roxanne Lin made it sound easy, but Evan Chu knew that mastering this move was just as hard as his Heart-Sword insight—it only deepened his respect for her talent.
Lily Tang spoke up: "Roxanne Lin, I didn't expect you to be such a hidden expert! Let's spar sometime!"
"Forget it, I'm not brave enough! If I have to fight you, I'd rather surrender on the spot!" Roxanne Lin really didn't want to face Lily Tang, the 'mother tyrannosaurus.'
