Upgraded Jill Young and the Smiling Queen

12/7/2025

With her Prajna Technique leveled up, Jill Young fully mastered the Five Senses Synchronization. Her eyes glowed with a mysterious light as she darted through the relentless barrage without taking a single hit. Not only that, when the Kaiju-Transformed Druid (hereafter referred to as Kaiju Druid) lunged with its jaws wide open, Jill spun on her heel, dodged with ease, and—while doing so—pulled a grenade from her left hand, yanked out the pin, and tossed it deftly into the Kaiju Druid’s mouth.

Boom! Flames erupted. The Kaiju Druid threw its head back and howled in pain, but the roar stopped abruptly—it suddenly felt a weight on its face. Looking down, it saw Jill Young standing right on its nose, her expression somewhere between a smirk and a grin. Just a moment ago, Jill had leaped straight up from the ground, her gear weighing over a hundred kilos, and landed squarely on the Kaiju Druid’s face. Standing there as if she were sightseeing atop a scenic overlook, Jill gazed around with relaxed elegance, showing zero signs of tension.

"This sword’s a bit clunky," Jill Young said, weighing the massive blade in her hand with a hint of complaint.

"ROAR—!" The Kaiju Druid bellowed, swinging its right claw straight at Jill. The air whistled as the giant claw shot forward, easily capable of shredding a truck. But Jill didn’t flinch. She squared up, sank her weight, and thrust her sword right at it!

In a flash, Jill not only dodged the claw with perfect timing, she jabbed the sword tip right into the Kaiju Druid’s thumb nail, giving it a taste of the infamous prison torture. Crack! The entire thick nail was pried off, flying through the air with a spray of blood. Turns out, the Kaiju Druid’s blood was just as red as any human’s.

"You’ve got a long way to go. Monsters your size should be way stronger than you." Jill flashed to the Kaiju Druid’s face, pointing her sword straight at its pupil. She smiled playfully, but her killing intent was razor-sharp—like she could stab through its eyeball into its brain at any second. The Kaiju Druid’s pupils shrank in terror, and it jerked its head away with a desperate roar.

"Ha!" Jill could’ve blinded it right then, but instead she just laughed and landed lightly. If anyone had sharp enough eyes, they’d be sweating—because Jill’s face was pure mischief. While spinning in midair, she tossed two more grenades. This time, they didn’t land in the Kaiju Druid’s gaping mouth—they went straight into its flared nostrils...

Crash! With the sound of metal striking metal, Jill landed steadily. Boom! The grenades exploded inside the Kaiju Druid’s nostrils, and even the Magician couldn’t help but rub his own nose. Flames shot skyward, blood splattered—this hit hurt the Kaiju Druid badly.

"This is way too easy..." Jill relaxed her arms, not bothering to strike back or even look at the Kaiju Druid. The monster went berserk, lunging madly as the ground shook and rocks flew, dust swirling everywhere. If this mess happened in a city, it’d be a disaster. But Jill kept smiling, her feet gliding and spinning, weaving through the chaos with speed and ease. No matter how wild the attacks, not a single one even grazed her.

The Magician’s eyes changed—wary but obsessed. He glanced over at Teacher Yang, who stood quietly off to the side, clearly plotting something.

"Insight Technique really is a treasure. Old Master Golden Wheel missed out big time by not practicing it! Well, now that my progress in Insight Technique is confirmed, next up—Titan Spirit Method." Jill Young suddenly halted, standing firm. Even though she was looking up at the Kaiju Druid, her aura shifted from elegant and graceful to wild and fierce in an instant. A burst of savage energy shot skyward, making the Kaiju Druid whimper before it roared and slammed down a claw.

Whoosh—the forceful wind scattered dust and whipped Jill’s platinum hair. With a sharp-edged grin, she gripped her sword with both hands and swung it to meet the giant claw!

Thud! The blade sliced into flesh, Jill’s greatsword landing perfectly between the Kaiju Druid’s fingers. Time seemed to slow as the sword sheared through muscle and tendon, but the impact was so strong it would’ve pulped an ordinary person. Crack! The rock beneath Jill’s feet split, but she didn’t budge—instead, she stepped forward boldly, dodged the claw’s edge, and let out a cold shout, hacking down with all her strength!

Rip! A chunk of meat the size of a dining table spun into the air, spraying blood everywhere. Boom! The Kaiju Druid lost its balance from swinging too hard and crashed to the ground, sending ice shards flying. Smack! The meat chunk landed, and on closer look, it was half of the Kaiju Druid’s forepaw—complete with two “fingers” and matching bones. Jill had sliced off three-fifths of the paw cleanly.

"Impossible!" The Magician couldn’t help but shout, "After transformation, its skin is so tough even bullets barely scratch it! How is this happening?"

"Hmph..." Jill ignored him, inspecting her sword’s edge. "I was thinking about giving this sword a fancy name, but it chipped just from slicing bone. Guess the quality’s still not up to snuff."

The Magician was sweating bullets—this wasn’t a quality issue! After the Druid’s Kaiju transformation, its bones were tougher than steel. How could this girl slice through them so cleanly in one go? Just how strong was she?!

He had no idea what Jill Young had gained from monster hunting—she’d leveled up way more than just her Insight Technique. With a steady supply of Meat Pills, Jill’s Titan Spirit Method was advancing at a freakish rate. What was supposed to take a year to break through, she’d blasted through in record time, and had just recently reached the seventh level.

Thanks to top-notch ingredients, Jill’s seventh level of Titan Spirit Method was more than twice as strong as the sixth. At level six, she had 3,400 pounds of force; now at level seven, she had 8,000 pounds—four tons! Four tons means she could pick up a sedan and swing it like a hammer. Jill named this level "Flip the Table Without Getting Mad." The Kaiju Druid’s bones were as tough as the Alien Queen’s armor, but Jill could slice them in two with a single swing.

The Kaiju Druid scrambled to its feet, still glaring at Jill, but now there was hesitation in its eyes. It started sneaking glances at Teacher Yang. As the Magician’s battle puppet, its doubts mirrored the Magician’s own. The Magician was genuinely considering probing Teacher Yang’s abilities.

"Don’t even think about it—you’re my prey." Jill Young strolled toward the Kaiju Druid, her steps seemingly slow but actually lightning-fast. In just a few blinks, she was right in front of it, slashing open a huge gash on its chest with a single swing. The Kaiju Druid, enraged, fought back furiously but didn’t manage to land a solid hit.

In just over two months, Jill’s opponents had doubled in strength—from the Alien Queen to the Kaiju Druid. But Jill herself had more than doubled her own power. With the full upgrade of Insight Technique and Titan Spirit Method, plus weapons that patched up her weak spots, Jill’s overall combat ability kept skyrocketing.

Watching Jill Young—just a human—beat down the Kaiju Druid, the Magician’s eyes sparkled. He seemed to have something up his sleeve, instead of running away, he pointed at the silent Teacher Yang. The wizard who’d been spamming useless spells at Jill switched targets, charging at Teacher Yang. "Black Magic: Agonizing Pain!" His giant chopsticks lit up, and with a flick of his wrist, he began to cast.

But Teacher Yang suddenly turned to look at him. Hollow eyes met bewildered ones—two people, both in a weird mental state, locked gazes. But the result was one-sided: Teacher Yang stepped forward, vanishing like a mirage, and appeared right in front of the wizard, just a meter away, as if he’d skipped the whole acceleration and deceleration thing.

He raised his hand, extended a finger, and pressed it against the wizard’s chest. It wasn’t fast or forceful—just like an ordinary person. But as soon as he was touched, the wizard froze. Eyes wide, mouth agape, his dazed look cleared up instantly, as if he’d snapped out of the Magician’s hypnosis. But in the next moment, he lost his balance and silently toppled backward.

Thud. The Chosen One with his own wild backstory hit the ground, leaving not even a last word—he was dead for good.

On the surface, you couldn’t even see a scratch.

Meanwhile, the Kaiju Druid writhed in agony, its throat slashed open and blood gushing like a high-pressure hose. The crimson spray shot skyward, then rained down as sparkling blood crystals. Jill Young strode out gracefully through the falling blood crystals. With a hum, she flicked her sword, shattering the crystals stuck to the blade. Jill’s smile never faded: "Well, look at you—didn’t run away. Are you just waiting here to get slaughtered, or do you know you can’t escape?"
