Origin of the Devil Realm–Immortal Realm Gates
"What? What's going on?" Titus Skyflood exclaimed in shock.
"No idea, we don't know what's happening either," said one of the Demon Lords.
Titus Skyflood furrowed his brow, but he couldn't interrupt the process now. If he stopped, they'd have to start over from scratch. After thinking for a moment, he told the five Demon Lords, "You five, go investigate and find out the cause."
"Yes, sir," replied the Demon Lord, then left with the other four Demon Lords.
One of the four Demon Lords said, "Aren't you basically tipping off Titus Skyflood?"
"You all saw it just now—if we don't say something, Titus Skyflood will definitely notice. Besides, you know he's relying on us right now. As long as we don't actually do anything, isn't that enough?" the Demon Lord answered.
The four Demon Lords thought it made sense, but it still wasn't what Evan Yang wanted.
When the five Demon Lords met Evan Yang again, they told him about Titus Skyflood's situation.
"So you told Titus Skyflood everything?" Evan Yang asked.
"Yeah, so he sent us to figure out the cause. Since there's nothing going on, we can't leave. If we do, we'd have to start the whole process over, and breaking the formation before would be a huge hassle," said one Demon Lord.
"Got it. Are there any restrictions on the method they're using now?" Evan Yang wanted to investigate their formation, so he asked out of curiosity.
"Not sure, but we can try asking," said the Demon Lord.
"Thanks for your help," Evan Yang said with a smile.
The five Demon Lords nodded and left. Evan Yang watched them go and muttered, "Titus Skyflood really is something—he actually figured out a way to create so many gates."
The five Demon Lords picked a time and returned to Titus Skyflood and the others.
"What is it? Did you find anything?" Titus Skyflood asked curiously when he saw them return so quickly.
"We searched everywhere but couldn't find the cause. I'm afraid we'll need Titus Skyflood himself to come out and check," said one Demon Lord.
"If I could come out, I would have already! Why all the pointless chatter? Once this formation is activated, it can't be stopped. If we interrupt it early, everyone here will get hurt," Titus Skyflood said.
"Alright, we'll keep searching," said the Demon Lord, and the five left again.
When the five appeared again, Evan Yang had already learned from them that the formation they were using had flaws. That gave Evan an idea: he would send his avatar to Titus Skyflood's location.
Evan Yang's avatar soon infiltrated their location. The arrival of a stranger naturally drew the attention of the experts inside the formation. When they saw it was Evan Yang, some nearly jumped out in excitement.
"You?" Titus Skyflood asked suspiciously.
"That's right, Titus Skyflood. We meet again," Evan Yang said with a smile.
"You've got guts, actually daring to come here?" Titus Skyflood said, raising his brow.
"It's not that I'm brave—it's just that I came now because you're all busy with this formation. Otherwise, I wouldn't have the guts," Evan Yang replied with a smile.
"So you actually know we're breaking the formation. You sure know a lot," Titus Skyflood said.
"Not only do I know that, I also know you prepared those gates between the Immortal Realm and Devil Realm ahead of time," Evan Yang said.
"So what? Are you here on behalf of the Immortal Realm to sabotage things? That Alliance Leader from the Immortal Realm sure has some tricks, managing to send you here," Titus Skyflood said.
"That's right. I came here specifically to find out how those gates were formed. To be clear, I'm going to destroy those gates and seal off the passage between the Devil Realm and Immortal Realm," Evan Yang said decisively.
"Ha, you're pretty confident, but you don't know how those gates were created. How are you going to destroy them?" Titus Skyflood sneered.
