Preparing to Leave

"Evan Lin, how are you feeling now? Do you want to head back and recover your wounds?" Lynn Ling asked.

"I'm fine, really. My spirit was injured, and that's not something you recover from overnight. From now on, unless I absolutely have to, I'll avoid using Divine Cleave—it's just too much to handle. Lynn Ling, you won't blame me for sneaking into the forbidden ground, will you?" Evan Lin asked.

Lynn Ling shot Evan Lin a look and said, "Even if I did blame you, what could I do? Honestly, it's good that the forbidden ground is destroyed—at least no one else will go in and die anymore. Besides, you're my man. What could I possibly do to you?"

"Hahaha! To have won the hearts of three Immortal Fairies—I'm truly the luckiest man alive. Don't worry, I won't let you down. Let's head back; it's really not convenient to stay here any longer!" Evan Lin said.

Shadow and Goldwing immediately returned to Evan Lin's body. The four of them didn't fly back; instead, they strolled slowly through the mountain valley. Along the way, Evan Lin gave a quick rundown of what happened in the dark and light spaces.

When Lynn Ling heard Evan Lin say he nearly died in there, she couldn't help but feel nervous. She was especially amazed that the dark and light monsters could combine their bodies—that's something you almost never see. At least, she'd never encountered it in the Immortal Realm before.

Back at Dream Spirit Sanctuary, Evan Lin went straight to Lynn Ling's room to cultivate. Yvonne Xuan and Serena Frost returned to their own rooms—after all, neither of them had taken the final step with Evan Lin yet, so staying there would've been a bit awkward.

If Evan Lin got carried away and just devoured them right then, it’d be perfectly normal—and if they wanted to blame him afterward, well, there’d be nothing they could do.

Lynn Ling went to the main hall to continue discussing important matters about the domain. But everyone who saw her face looked at her strangely. She understood what they meant and laughed, "I know you're all curious why I suddenly have a man. That's right—Evan Lin is my future husband."

You might think he's just a pretty Immortal, but you'd be dead wrong. Let me put it this way—even alone, he could wipe out any faction in the Immortal Realm, or even all of them.

In the Immortal Realm, there’s probably no one left who can challenge him. I’m sure you’ve all heard about the destruction of Skyshade Hall and how Hector Vaughn was killed—well, Evan Lin was the one who did it. Anyone who becomes his woman should be proud, and I’m no exception.

Just like all of you, I have emotions and desires too. It’s just that I’ve been so busy with domain affairs that I never had time to think about these things. But now I don’t want to hide it anymore. With his strength, I think you all understand why.

I’m afraid that once he ascends to the God Realm, I’ll have no idea when or if I’ll ever see him again. And you all know how dangerous ascension is—out of ten Immortal Emperors, maybe one or two make it through. So I refuse to have regrets. At least this way, I can say I loved and had a man of my own.

"Congratulations to the Domain Lord for finding such an outstanding man. With a powerhouse like him, I don't think anyone will dare covet Dream Spirit Sanctuary anymore—he’s the strongest backing we could ask for," an elder said respectfully to Lynn Ling.

"Exactly. With Evan Lin here, no other force would dare mess with us. We won’t have to act according to anyone else’s whims anymore. And both Domain Lord Nolan and Sect Master Qin treat Evan Lin with great respect. If those two sects wouldn’t dare offend him, why would anyone else make a move against Dream Spirit Sanctuary?" Lynn Ling said.

For a moment, everyone in the main hall wore looks of envy and offered their blessings to Lynn Ling. By the time she finished discussing domain matters, it was already evening.

When she returned to her room and saw Evan Lin still absorbing Immortal Crystal essence, she didn’t disturb him but went to bathe in the room’s hot spring instead.

Evan Lin knew the moment she came in. The sound of water as she bathed was perfectly clear to him. At that point, his Chaos Immortal Force had recovered to about thirty percent, so he stopped cultivating.

He put the unfinished Immortal Crystal into his storage ring, then quietly approached the hot spring. Lynn Ling was soaking in the water, her face occasionally blooming into a gentle smile, as if she was thinking of something happy.

"What are you thinking about, smiling like that?" Evan Lin chuckled, already removing the restraints from his body as he spoke.

Lynn Ling was startled—she hadn’t expected Evan Lin to come over right then. But when she saw the state he was in, her cheeks flushed red, especially at the sight of a certain proud, towering part of him that made her heart race uncontrollably.

"Y-you... how did you get in here?" Lynn Ling stammered, feeling nervous. Last time, she’d been too caught up to really take a good look at Evan Lin’s... attributes, but now that she saw them, her heart was pounding out of her chest.

Oh my god, it’s really that huge. I still don’t know how it even fits inside me. This little Evan Lin is just terrifying! Lynn Ling couldn’t help but marvel inwardly.

"I heard you bathing, so of course I came in. I’ve been tired out in there for ages, and I just want to get close and tangle with you for a while. Last time I didn’t get enough—this time I’m going to love you properly." With that, Evan Lin stepped straight into the hot spring.

He gently pulled her into his arms. Two smooth bodies twisted together in the rose-petal-filled water, and Evan Lin kissed her soft lips, his hands roaming up and down, sending electric shocks through Lynn Ling’s heart.

"Evan Lin, let’s move to the bedroom—I’m not used to doing this in the water!" Lynn Ling couldn’t help but say.

Evan Lin nodded, then lifted Lynn Ling and carried her out of the bath. On the way to the bedroom, he used Fireshift to dry the water from their bodies. After gently placing her on the bed, he pressed himself on top of her.

Soon, high-pitched cries escaped Lynn Ling’s lips as the two of them gave in to their wildest, most primal desires...

Afterwards, Lynn Ling lay weakly on Evan Lin’s arm and softly asked, "Evan Lin, if I weren’t one of the Four Immortal Fairies, just an ordinary woman, would you still want me?"

"Nope. I’m not interested in ordinary women. Just look at the women around me—every one of them is a peerless beauty. So you really should be proud of your looks. It’s not that I look down on ordinary women, but I’m surrounded by beauties, so I just can’t settle for anyone average. Guess I’ve gotten used to it, for better or worse," Evan Lin said.

"I was just asking. You spent almost half a month in the forbidden ground this time—I worried myself sick over you. Now that you’re back safe, I can finally relax," Lynn Ling said.

"Half a month? I didn’t even realize time passed that fast. Once I’ve recovered my Chaos Immortal Force, I’ll be heading out. Didn’t you say you wanted the Immortal Emperor’s treasure? I’ll have Nolan Nangong come with me to check it out," Evan Lin said.
