Two Hundred and Ninety Thousand Demon Cultivators

1/11/2026

At the same time, the demon cultivator army's massacre ground to a halt. They were completely cowed by Ian Song—dropping their targets and retreating in panic. After all, in just two or three breaths, five thousand Golden Core and Nascent Soul demon cultivators had been cut down by his sword.

Just two or three breaths—and five thousand demon cultivators are dead.

That kind of kill speed is insane—absolutely terrifying.

Figures flickered across the battlefield as seven Soul-Split demon cultivators landed, surrounding Ian Song. Each one stared at him with eyes full of either shadowy malice or sharp hostility.

"Kid, you've got some nerve—how dare you slaughter our people like this!" one of the Soul-Split demon cultivators barked coldly.

Ian Song stood with his sword in hand, his robes billowing even though there was no wind. He swept a chilly gaze around, then spoke calmly: "When you crazily slaughter the Human Race, you'd better be ready to get slaughtered yourselves. Besides, what I'm killing here are just a pack of beasts—you lot don't even qualify as 'people.'"

"Courting death!"

One of the Soul-Split demon cultivators flew into a rage, swinging his spiked club-shaped magic weapon and hurling it straight at Ian Song.

Ian Song just shook his head slightly, then flicked out a strand of finger-force.

"Pfft!"

The finger-force appeared right in front of that demon cultivator's brow, then shot straight through his skull—and his Nascent Soul inside.

"What the—?"

The other six Soul-Split demon cultivators stared wide-eyed at the scene.

The guy who just got killed was mid Soul-Split—he didn't even put up a fight! Not even late Soul-Split experts could pull that off.

For a moment, a chill ran through them. Their looks at Ian Song now held genuine fear.

On the city wall, the most prominent spot held a purple-gold coiling-dragon throne, where Gaius the Serpent King sat in calm majesty. Seeing one of his Soul-Split subordinates die, his eyes narrowed, a hint of sharpness gleaming within.

"Serpent King, should we step in?"

A late Soul-Split expert standing behind him volunteered, "Let me go, Your Majesty."

"No need. Let's watch for now," Gaius the Serpent King replied coolly.

"Kill him!"
