After dinner, Xiao Wang tried to help clean up in the kitchen, but her mother pushed her out: "It's Xiao Xia's first time visiting our home, go keep her company."

Xiao Wang looked utterly confused: "She’s not a stranger!"

"Exactly because she’s not a stranger, you can’t just leave her alone." Xiao Wang’s mom was determined to educate her daughter from scratch. "Go on, don’t get in the way here."

Xiao Wang was pushed out of the kitchen. As she looked up, she saw Xiao A smiling at her.

Not knowing what to say to Xiao A, Xiao Wang could only suggest, "Want to go for a walk? The park near our place is really beautiful."

"Sure." Xiao A nodded with a smile.

The two walked out side by side.

As soon as they left, the three family members inside stretched their necks, peeking outside.

"Hey, old man, do you think our daughter still has a chance?" Xiao Wang’s mom couldn’t help but say, "Xiao Xia is really great! Young, capable, and earns so much money. I heard he’s got houses in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen!"

Xiao Wang’s dad said, "His conditions are too good. I’m worried our daughter isn’t a match for him."
