"That's a brilliant line. The more you think about it, the harder it is to refute," Sean said, stroking his chin.

Lily Evans smiled slightly. "That line was said by a truly great person. I'm just borrowing it for now."

They had no idea that this classic line, "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun," was actually said by the founding father before Lily Evans time-traveled. That founding father was a military and political genius whose achievements amazed the world.

Lily Evans sat calmly, quietly observing the young man kneeling before her in the hall.

He was plain-looking, but there was a glimmer of endurance in his eyes. It seemed he'd been suppressing himself for years, to the point where patience had become second nature.

"Neil Zhao, a humble subject, greets Princess Jade Hayes." The new interim clan chief of the House of Zhao, Neil Zhao, said.

Lily Evans looked at Neil Zhao. If Alexander Hayes had chosen Neil Zhao as the interim clan chief, it meant Neil Zhao had already been won over and pledged loyalty to Alexander.
