Little Dumpling’s Debut

2/14/2026

Dorian Owen (codename: Doudou), can you please not embarrass yourself like this again?

Now it’s not just Dominic Zhai and Colin Si—even the Snow Wolf wants to cover its face...

"Serena... Your Majesty, it’s getting late. I’ll take my leave now." Dominic Zhai realized he was standing in front of Serena, trying to protect her in a way that was just as silly as Doudou. Honestly, he was almost as bad as Doudou.

Colin Si quickly followed suit, resigning together with Dominic Zhai. He really couldn’t stand Doudou’s idiotic antics—better to leave and not be embarrassed alongside him.

Dominic Zhai and Colin Si ran into Dorian Owen (codename: Doudou) at the door. Dorian Owen looked indignant and wailed, "You two actually got here before me—is there any justice in this world?"

... Dominic Zhai and Colin Si opened their mouths but couldn’t find anything to say. They simply ignored Doudou and decisively slipped away.

They swear, from now on they’ll never walk with Dorian Owen (codename: Doudou) again. No way will they let people link them with Dorian Owen—way too embarrassing.

The embarrassment magnet Dorian Owen (codename: Doudou) didn’t think he was wrong at all. After seeing off Dominic Zhai and Colin Si, he darted into the palace, his voice arriving before he did: "Serena, Serena, I missed you so much—uh..." Dorian Owen suddenly stopped, sizing up Serena, who had come out to greet him, and for once was serious: "Serena, you’ve gotten fat!"

Uh... Serena’s words got stuck in her throat, completely blocked by Doudou. She stared at him, gritting her teeth: "If you don’t talk, nobody will think you’re mute." Little Dumpling is still nursing, and Serena has been taking good care of herself for his sake—she’s a bit rounder than before, but really, just a little.

"What did I do? You really have gotten a lot fatter. Be careful—if you keep gaining weight, the Emperor might not want you anymore." Dorian Owen looked aggrieved. He hadn’t said anything wrong, so why couldn’t he even speak the truth?

Forget it, there’s no way to communicate with this guy. Serena shot Dorian Owen (codename: Doudou) a glare: "I’m not bothering with you." No matter how much time passed, Dorian Owen was still this ridiculous—he totally ruined any joy of reunion for her.

"Why are you ignoring me?" Dorian Owen still didn’t get it. His eyes swept the room and spotted the Snow Wolf curled up nearby. Dorian Owen’s eyes lit up, and before Serena could answer, he leapt straight at the Snow Wolf.

The Snow Wolf was caught off guard and tackled by Dorian Owen, flopping onto its back with all four paws in the air: "Awooo... awooo." Stupid human, let me go!

"Wow... Snow Wolf, I missed you so much, missed you to death! You’re still so chubby, so soft. Hugging you in the middle of winter is just the best—you’re all squishy everywhere!" Dorian Owen couldn’t understand the Snow Wolf’s feelings at all, treating it like a giant body pillow. The Snow Wolf was about to cry...

Stupid human, let go already—it hurts, hurts, hurts so much!

"Awooo..." The Snow Wolf let out a miserable howl. Serena couldn’t bear to watch and turned away.

Once Dorian Owen was done playing, he finally let the Snow Wolf go and turned to Zed and Feng Jin: "Zed and Feng Jin have both grown so much—I almost didn’t recognize you! Come here, come to your big brother, let me give you a hug."

Dorian Owen was bursting with energy, desperate to make up for all the time he’d missed with Serena and the others. But his enthusiasm was just too much for the Snow Wolf, Zed, and Feng Jin to handle.

Zed saw all the wolf fur scattered on the ground and decisively dragged Feng Jin away. No way were they letting Doudou hug them—they didn’t have any fur to shed...

"Awooo... awooo." The Snow Wolf escaped Dorian Owen’s clutches, sadly gathering up its fur from the floor. Whimper whimper... It’s winter, and now it had lost so much fur—it was definitely going to be cold tonight...

So sad!

The Snow Wolf pitifully clutched its fur and rubbed against Serena’s leg: begging for revenge!

Serena sympathetically patted the Snow Wolf on the head. Watching Dorian Owen go wild with Zed and Feng Jin, she couldn’t help but laugh and sigh...

The Snow Wolf could tell revenge was hopeless. It drooped its head, fell silent, and mourned its lost fur in silence.

"Don’t be sad. I’ll give you extra food later, and tonight, if you go beat up Dorian Owen, I promise I won’t interfere." Serena squatted down next to the Snow Wolf and helped smooth out its fur. Only then did it perk up a little.

Still, even if Serena didn’t help the Snow Wolves get revenge, someone else would. Once Dorian Owen (codename: Doudou), Zed, and Feng Jin were done playing, Little Dumpling—almost a year old—woke up.

Little Dumpling could already walk a few steps, and he liked to walk by himself. Every time he came to see Serena, he insisted on walking in on his own—this time was no exception.

With New Year approaching, Spring dressed Little Dumpling up as festive as a red envelope. The tiny bundle was all in bright red, toddling inside on his chubby little legs, his big eyes still foggy from just waking up. That adorable look made people want to run over and take a bite.

That’s exactly what Dorian Owen (codename: Doudou) thought—and did. As soon as Little Dumpling came in, Dorian Owen rushed to his side, half-kneeling in front of him, delighted: "You really are a soft, pink little bun! Come here, let your big brother have a bite."

Who is this person?

Little Dumpling furrowed his tiny brows, cheeks puffed out, staring seriously at the bad guy blocking his way to his mother. When this guy opened his mouth to bite, Little Dumpling glared: "Bad man!"

Smack—Little Dumpling’s little fist punched Dorian Owen right in the face: "Father Emperor, hit the bad man!"

He was punched by a bun!

Dorian Owen (codename: Doudou) clutched his face, stunned for a long time...

Aaaah, he was actually punched by a bun.

"I-di-ot!" Little Dumpling said seriously, spitting out the two words at Dorian Owen (codename: Doudou). Then he ignored him, took a step back, walked around Dorian Owen, and kept heading toward Serena.

He wanted his mother.

Little Dumpling still couldn’t walk very steadily. Every step was wobbly, but he was very serious about it, moving slowly with his little face all tense...

Father Emperor said falling down while walking means you’re incompetent. He’s Little Dumpling, not incompetent—he can’t fall.

Step by step, Little Dumpling moved forward. When he got tired, he’d stop and rest, flashing Serena a sweet, hopeful smile from not too far away.

From the moment Little Dumpling appeared, Serena squatted down, waiting for him to walk over. Her smile grew brighter as he got closer, and when he finally toppled into her arms, Serena burst out laughing.

"Mama’s little treasure is amazing." Serena picked Little Dumpling up and planted a big kiss on his cheek, earning a sweet, squinty-eyed smile from him.

"Waaah... Serena, your son hit me." Dorian Owen (codename: Doudou) had followed behind, worried Little Dumpling might fall. Once the baby was safely in Serena’s arms, he got up and started tattling.

"Mama, bad man." Seeing Dorian Owen, Little Dumpling’s smile vanished. He put on his Little Prince act and glared at Dorian Owen with full authority.

Dorian Owen (codename: Doudou) was instantly floored by the cuteness: "Serena, your son is too adorable, hahaha... How can he be so much fun? Can I borrow him to play with for a bit?" Before Serena could answer, Dorian Owen added, "A little kid acting all grown-up—seriously, isn’t he just the cutest?"

"No!"

"Never!"

Just then, Little Dumpling’s dad walked in and overheard Dorian Owen (codename: Doudou). His face darkened: "Dorian Owen, my son is not a toy for you. You’ve hung around long enough—time to get lost!"

Dorian Owen (codename: Doudou): Can I just say—I literally just got here?
