Blue Wolf Syndicate

"Huh? L-Lilian Grace, what are you doing here?" Shawn Young seized the opportunity to wrap his arm around Lilian Grace's slender waist and asked.

"Oh, I-I just went to the bathroom," Lilian Grace replied, flustered.

"Really? But how did you—end up getting your pants wet in the bathroom?" Shawn Young, ever sharp-eyed, immediately spotted a blurry wet patch right at the critical spot on Lilian Grace's pants.

"Uh, it's just water—the faucet broke and I got splashed by accident. Let me go, I need to leave first—" Lilian Grace's face burned under Shawn Young's heated gaze; she quickly covered her embarrassed spot and hurried out of the restroom.

Shawn Young watched her curvy figure and the shy look on her face as she rushed away, especially that mysterious wet spot. Suddenly, he felt a strong urge to pee, so he dashed into the restroom himself to relieve it.

When Shawn Young came out of the restroom, he saw that Lilian Grace had changed into a skirt. The blush on her pretty face still hadn't faded, and when she saw Shawn, her expression became even more bashful, her cheeks glowing even redder and more charming.

Shawn Young stared at Lilian Grace's delicate, almost dewy face and secretly swallowed. He really wanted to drag her to some hidden corner and have a deep conversation about life and dreams.

At that moment, "Leon Grace" appeared nearby. She glanced down and saw that Shawn Young was still naked, his 'elephant' proudly pointed at Lilian Grace. Both her and Lilian Grace's hearts pounded wildly. Surprised, she quickly said, "Uh—Shawn, maybe put on some pants first. Your elephant waving around is pretty scary. I'm fine, but Miss Lilian isn't used to this kind of sight."

"Oh! I was careless, haha, just careless—" Shawn Young's face turned red. He realized brandishing his 'weapon' like that wasn't polite, so he scrambled to grab his pants from the bed and put them on. But when zipping up, he accidentally caught a tuft of hair, making his 'elephant' suffer terribly.

Leon Grace handed Shawn Young a small black ceramic bottle and said, "Here, drink this."

"Uh, what's this?" Shawn Young asked as he took the tiny bottle.

Leon Grace said, "This is our House of a Thousand Faces' exclusive 'Voice-Changing Water.' For a week, you can mimic Gavin Grant's voice. The other teams are in position and the mission is about to start. There are some key points to remember—I'll tell you now, so pay close attention."

After explaining, Leon Grace carefully went over the important details with Shawn Young. Finally, she added, "This plan is based on all the intel we've gathered, but things can change during the operation. The most important thing is to stay flexible and handle unexpected situations! Got it?"

Shawn Young nodded, especially pleased with the first part of the plan—he'd get to stay close to Lilian Grace, and of course, Rainie Cheng disguised as Leon Grace would be by his side too. Not a bad gig at all.

Shawn Young secretly decided that, come hell or high water, he'd take advantage of having two beauties around—after all, it was all for the mission.

As night fell, the famous Golden Splendor Nightclub in Nanming City lit up. The entrance sparkled, packed with guests looking for fun. Several gorgeous hostesses in tight, high-slit cheongsams greeted them with smiles, while burly men in black vests patrolled the parking lot and stairs.

Upstairs in the luxurious third-floor office of the Golden Splendor Nightclub, two grim-faced middle-aged men sat. One, short and stocky with spiky hair and a fierce look, wore a plaid shirt and smoked silently on the couch. Suddenly, he tossed his cigarette onto the floor and stomped it out impatiently.

On the main leather sofa sat a burly man in a camouflage vest, his shiny bald head gleaming. His wolfish eyes were fierce, and his left arm bore a snarling blue wolf tattoo. This was Hugo Hu—the infamous boss of the Blue Wolf Syndicate.

Hugo Hu kept dialing Gavin Grant's phone, but no one answered. Frustrated, he snapped his phone shut and looked up to see the plaid-shirted man grinding his cigarette into the carpet, sending up a puff of black smoke. Annoyed, Hugo said, "Leo, what's your rush? Do you even know how expensive this Persian wool carpet is? If you keep tossing butts on it, it'll be ruined!"

The man in the plaid shirt was Hugo Hu's sworn brother, Leo Chen. He shot up and said, "Come on, Hugo, it's just a carpet. I'll get you a few more tomorrow!"

Hugo Hu waved his hand and said, "Hey—let's not talk about that, brother. The problem's still not solved. It's been a whole day and night, and Gavin Grant's nowhere to be found. He won't answer his phone, and even my guys have vanished—who knows what he did with them! I sent people out to look for them, but no luck. Seriously—"

"Damn, that Mantis Hunter is something else! Hugo, do you think he's playing us and planning to double-cross?" Leo Chen asked.

"Uh—well, I doubt it. From what I know, the Thirteen Enforcers aren't short on cash. They're just looking to expand their turf. Like this big job with the Tian Nan Group—it's nothing for an organization as tough as the Thirteen Enforcers. The real problem is, we got the attention of Interpol. Luckily, I found their undercover guy and took care of him, but taking out an Interpol agent is way above our pay grade. Gavin Grant's an old hand at kidnapping and covering up murders, which is why I hired him. He's got serious skills, but he's a pain to deal with. I just can't control him," Hugo Hu sighed.

Leo Chen paced back and forth, frustrated. "Damn it, Hugo, what is this Gavin guy up to? He promised to bring the Grace siblings over tonight, but we haven't seen a hair of him! No contact, and worst of all, did he even take care of that Interpol undercover? We don't know a thing! Hugo, what should we do?"

Hugo Hu thought for a moment, glanced at the clock on the wall, and sighed, "Well—I don't know what else to do. The deadline we set with him is here, and since he hasn't shown up, I'll have to explain the situation to the Thirteen Enforcers and let them handle it themselves. If we can wash our hands of this, it's best to get out while we can."

Leo Chen was stunned. He quickly asked, "Uh—Hugo, are you saying... we're dropping the Tian Nan Group job?"

Hugo Hu glanced at him and said, "Leo, things just got complicated. We're way out of our depth now, especially with Interpol involved. Getting their attention is bad news, so you better listen to me and get out while you still can. We can't afford to play this game anymore!"

Leo Chen gritted his teeth and said bitterly, "But Hugo! This job is worth fifty million! Are we just going to give it up?"

Hugo Hu nodded, his voice cold. "Yeah, fifty million is a lot, but if we slip up even once, we're finished! That's it—I've made up my mind."

With that, Hugo Hu picked up his phone and dialed a number.
