Thunder Slash Cuts Down All Evil Spirits

1/5/2026

Percy Fan was stunned. He honestly hadn’t expected heavenly thunder to come crashing down like that. The sudden strike not only broke Ryan Ling’s siege, but also saved Jason Lin in an instant.

"Percy Fan, looks like you’ve done so much evil even the heavens want you dead!" Ryan Ling sneered, his face fearless now. With thunder roaring overhead, it was clear the sky had his back. Today, this ‘son’ was definitely getting a lesson.

"Bullshit! You just got lucky with that thunder, but don’t count on getting lucky again!" Percy Fan was no fool—he was a cunning old fox, arrogant to the core. There’s no way he’d buy into such ‘ghost stories.’

Without a hint of hesitation, Percy’s eyes flashed green again—the eerie, soul-snatching light shot straight at Ryan Ling. This time, it wasn’t just a beam; it twisted around him like a venomous bamboo viper, binding him tight.

The crowd was terrified—mouths hanging open. For the martial arts experts watching, this was basically supernatural, totally beyond belief. Who would’ve thought moves this freaky actually existed?

But some of the older martial artists, sweating nervously, knew exactly what this was—the most terrifying move in Percy Fan’s Soul-Snatching Art: Snake Coil.

Just look at Harbor City. Back in the day, Percy Fan ran wild here—slaughtering innocents and trampling all over martial ethics. Two highly respected seniors from the local martial arts world stood up to stop him. First they tried reasoning, but Percy wouldn’t listen; finally, they fought. Both seniors were virtuous and skilled, nearly at eighth or ninth inner-strength level. Tons of people watched from afar, all sure that Percy was about to get what he deserved.

But nobody expected Percy to bust out ghostly sorcery. In a flash, his eyes glowed green and he unleashed the terrifying Snake Coil—just a few seconds later, both seniors dropped stiff to the ground, dead before anyone could even try to save them.

Everyone was stunned. It was only later they realized the move was the infamous Soul-Snatching Art.

Now Percy was using Soul-Snatching Art’s deadliest move—Snake Coil—again. The elders who’d seen it before were more nervous than ever.

They genuinely didn’t want to see a martial arts prodigy like Ryan Ling die young. Harbor City’s martial scene had been withering for years, with barely any new blood. Right now, someone like Ryan was exactly the spark they needed.

"Ryan, hang in there!" a few responsible old martial artists muttered anxiously under their breath.

Meanwhile, the Fan Family was buzzing with excitement. They all knew the ‘divine might’ of their Third Old Master, Percy Fan. Everyone started clapping as if this was the Fan Family’s big day to show off.

But at that moment, Ryan Ling wasn’t scared at all. After a quick pause, he suddenly looked up at the sky and shouted, “Thunder God, what are you waiting for? Help me strike down this villain!”

The sudden shout made everyone—already on edge—shiver. No one saw that coming.

Percy Fan’s face twisted, and he barked, “You damn brat, about to die and still trying to scare yourself! Who do you think you are, the Monkey King? Thunder God’s gonna help you? You must be brain-damaged!”

As Percy finished, the Fan Family was about to chime in and show off some more—when suddenly, another bolt of lightning exploded from the sky. In a flash, the ‘green snake’ wrapped around Ryan was sliced apart, and the lightning, trailing green light, blasted straight at Percy Fan.

Percy’s qinggong might be legendary, but nobody’s faster than lightning. In less than a blink, there was a loud bang—and then a bloodcurdling scream.

The lightning blasted right into Percy Fan’s eye sockets, blowing both eyeballs out in a single hit.

In that instant, everyone was dumbstruck. It was like time froze—people just stared at Ryan Ling and the screaming Percy Fan, as if they were dreaming.

After seven or eight seconds of stunned silence, an elderly white-haired man suddenly burst into tears and shouted, “Long live Ryan Ling!”

His shout snapped everyone out of it. Instantly, the whole Harbor City Martial Arts Association went wild, chanting, “Long live Ryan Ling!”

They’d been bullied and humiliated by the Fan Family—especially Percy Fan—for years. Ever since those two seniors died at his hands, they’d been forced to swallow their pride and live every day under the Fan Family’s shadow.

But now, with Ryan’s sudden strike, it was like they’d finally been liberated. The whole association was as excited as the day the Liberation Army marched into Harbor City.

"Weren’t you and your old man planning to gouge out my eyes? Well, I’m returning the favor—gouging out both of yours as punishment. Take it as a warning." Ryan Ling glared, his voice full of swagger.

Not far away, the powerful thunder had shattered the ghost-wall made of pale wraiths. No matter how fierce the ghosts, they couldn’t stand up to lightning. Frank Qin was finally freed, and martial association medics rushed over to treat his eyes.

Today, anyone who fought against the Fan Family was considered one of their own—the Martial Arts Association was risking everything to save them.

Right now, Jackson Fan, Frank Fan, and the rest of the Fan Family didn’t dare say a word. Ryan Ling could actually call down the ‘Thunder God’—that was just unreal. But Percy Fan, lying on the ground, was still gritting his teeth, refusing to admit defeat.

“Ryan, quit wasting words on him. That crafty old bastard will never give up so easily. And just blinding him is way too soft—after all the evil he’s done, even chopping him to bits wouldn’t be enough.”

“Exactly! Brother Ryan, your skills are legendary, your methods practically divine. We all admire you to the extreme. Since you can wield the Thunder God’s power of judgment, you might as well chop that old scumbag to pieces for real!”

“That old bastard is pure evil—a cancer in Harbor City and a blight on martial arts. If he doesn’t die, there’s no justice. He’s lived long enough; time to meet Lord Yama!”

Percy Fan—the old fox—still refused to bow his head, even trying to retaliate. The martial artists couldn’t stand it anymore; they all roared in righteous fury.

In a flash, the Fan Family’s home-field advantage was gone—now the crowd had taken over. Not just the martial artists, but even the teachers and students of Harbor City High joined in. The lucky survivor Zhang Hu was so pumped he started singing ‘Big Blade Chops Down the Devil’s Head.’ It felt like if everyone spat at once, the Fan Family would drown in a sea of people.

But even now, Percy Fan—eyeballs blasted out—slowly got up, a cold smile on his lips. “Kid, you might’ve fooled others by ‘channeling the Thunder God,’ but you can’t fool me. Don’t think a little lightning magic makes you tough—I’ve seen plenty of tricks like that. Killing me? Dream on. And get this: I’m Lord Yama’s grandson—the Netherworld is my turf. If I say the word to my grandpa, everyone here is dead!”

With that, Percy suddenly stripped off his robe—revealing it covered in terrifying blood-written characters. No one knew what they said, but the sight was horrifying, like hundreds of evil spirits writhing inside. As Percy chanted, the robe glowed red, and everyone heard faint, chilling wails and ghostly howls.

No doubt—this was Percy Fan’s trump card. Everyone felt a crushing weight on their chests, but Ryan Ling could see clearly: hideous monsters were crawling out of the blood-red robe, oozing with Yin energy.

But Ryan Ling wasn’t the least bit scared. That earlier move was just a warm-up—now it was time for Thunder Slash to really show its power…
