"Another expert?" Ryan Ling was slightly taken aback. Gabriel Xue could easily handle Sun Maocai, even Tang Yulin, and even if the two armies started brawling on the spot, he wouldn't need to intervene. But now that a Void Realm master was making a move, Ryan couldn't just sit back and watch!
Immediately, he condensed a surge of true qi and charged forward, blocking that Void Realm force in an instant.
"Kid, your strength really is impressive!" came a leisurely voice from outside.
Right after, two more Void Realm auras surged toward Gabriel Xue—not just one, but actually two at once.
"Just what kind of background does Tang Yulin have, to actually summon three Void Realm masters!" Seeing this, Ryan was shocked, his mind racing with disbelief.
Still, even with two more joining in, Ryan unleashed his immortal power and stubbornly blocked them all.
But blocking three Void Realm forces in a row—each one several times stronger than Mitsuo Mitsui—made Ryan start to feel the strain.
His current strength was at an absolute peak, but he'd only broken through to half-step Foundation-Building. In fact, that counted for less than a fifth of true Foundation-Building power.
Meanwhile, Tang Yulin grinned, his voice sinister: "The real show is just getting started!"
As soon as he finished speaking, three more Void Realm forces exploded toward them.
Ryan's scalp went numb. Blocking three attacks was already tough—now three more were incoming, and stopping them all was obviously impossible!
Sure enough, just as Ryan blocked the fourth attack, the other two veered off—one sent Gabriel Xue flying, and the other smashed the anti-Japanese medal to scrap.
"How is this possible?" Ryan took a deep breath. The Six-Void-Realm Alliance had actually shown up in the stadium, and the place instantly turned to chaos. People tried to flee, but every exit was blocked by Walter Gu and the Azure Dragon Society. Above, weird clouds released sealing power, locking down the whole arena.
"Ryan!" Sophie Su and the others instantly turned pale with worry.
"All women, fall back!" Ryan shouted. He shot into the air, unleashing his Yanluo Golden Body, Ghost-Head Greatsaber, and half-step Foundation-Building aura all at once.
Facing six Void-Realm masters, he wasn't going to hide anything—this was an all-out, life-or-death fight!
Jason Lin and the others jumped out, their bodies blazing with powerful Purple-Realm grandmaster auras. The long-awaited showdown finally erupted.
"Ryan really is something else. Mitsuo Mitsui's dead, but this guy should be taken back for research—he's worth a fortune!" one Void-Realm master commented.
"You're right, this kid's no ordinary target. He doesn't show any Void-Realm aura, but his power is on par with any Void-Realm master. If I hadn't seen it myself, I'd never believe it!" another added.
"Let's just take him down—there's enough of us to handle one of him!" they said, ready to gang up on Ryan.
...
The Void-Realm masters started arguing, each tossing out their own opinions.
"Who the hell are you people, anyway?" Ryan felt a pressure like never before—and the worst part was, he hadn't gotten any intel about these guys beforehand.
"Beat me first, then I'll tell you!" As he spoke, Tang Sect's top Rudder Master made his move—Harold Hua. The name was famous: he was Tiger Hua's older brother, Tang Sect's Number One Rudder Master, king of the hidden-weapon world, and the first in China to reach the Void Realm through hidden-weapon arts.
In a flash, a crushing, sky-high pressure slammed down on Ryan. The earlier Void-Realm strikes were just warmups—this was the true peak of Void-Realm power.
"You think Void Realm makes you hot shit?" Ryan frowned, didn't even hesitate, and smashed a brutal punch straight at him.
Bang! Harold Hua's face went green, blood spraying from his mouth. Worst of all, his hidden weapons had absolutely zero effect on Ryan.
"He's really this strong?" Dragon-Head Aaron Zhao was stunned. Harold couldn't even last a single round; it was like Ryan's power had multiplied several times in the blink of an eye.
"This guy's way scarier than we imagined!" said another Void-Realm master from Jinling City, just as shocked.
"Old Dragon, I'll help you out!" Seeing this, the Huo Family's Void-Realm master joined in. His name was Hector Huo, the clan's top dog and known as Second Master. Lady Four Huo only rose up thanks to this guy.
"Help you, my ass!" Ryan wasn't about to show mercy—these Void-Realm powerhouses were ticking time bombs. If he didn't take them out now, his brothers and loved ones would be in serious danger.
In a flash, there was a brutal sound of fist meeting flesh—Hector Huo was sent flying. Compared to Harold Hua, this pampered Second Master was way weaker.
The other Void-Realm masters were all stunned!
"Boss, we've got the full scoop. The leader this time is Dragon-Head Aaron Zhao from the Azure Dragon Society. The five Void-Realm masters with him are all hired muscle—Tang Sect, Huo Family, Japan, and top experts from Jinling City. They plan to wipe us out at today's award ceremony!" Jason Lin, Harvey Jin, and the others had already beaten the truth out of Tang Yulin.
"Azure Dragon Society's Dragon-Head? I wasn't even looking for you, but you came looking for me!" Ryan's eyes locked fiercely onto Aaron Zhao.
"Why is his aura so terrifying?" Aaron Zhao's heart skipped a beat, and he even stepped back half a pace. He was supposed to be about to break into the Profound-Tier Void Realm, but even so, he was completely losing out to Ryan in pure presence.
Ryan gave a cold laugh. In that instant, he finally understood the real difference between Immortal Cultivation and martial training.
"If you want to wrap me up like a dumpling, you gotta take down the king first!" Ryan didn't hesitate—he went straight for Aaron Zhao.
"What are you waiting for? Everyone, attack!" Instantly, Aaron Zhao felt the danger and shouted. Harold Hua, Hector Huo, and two Jinling City Void-Realm masters all struck at once, five Void-Realm masters pressing down on Ryan alone.

In that instant, Ryan felt an unprecedented pressure—he couldn't move at all.
Even with half-step Foundation-Building, he'd only barely knocked on the door of Immortal Cultivation. These five Void-Realm masters were all seasoned pros, and together their power was off the charts—the whole stadium felt like it was about to burst.
"Good, good, this kid's done for! Keep him pinned—don't give him a single chance to breathe!" Aaron Zhao wiped sweat from his brow. He'd never imagined it would take their full strength to suppress Ryan, and he could sense Ryan might still have more in the tank. Without hesitation, he glanced at Hazel Chiba, who hadn't attacked yet, and shouted.
"Old hag, what are you waiting for? Get moving!"
"Yoshi!" Hazel Chiba nodded, instantly unleashing her poison arts—venom flooding into the Void Realm. This old lady was seriously dangerous.
But just as she struck, the stabbing pain in Ryan's chest flared up again—and this time it wasn't just normal pain, it was heart-ripping agony. His Foundation-Building power shriveled, and the pressure from the five Void-Realm masters dropped by more than half.
"Ryan—Ryan, what's going on? Why'd your body suddenly freak out?"
"Looks like he's been poisoned—how'd that happen?"
"It's that Japanese old hag's doing! I'm gonna take her out!"
Warren Yuan darted forward, but before he could reach her, Void-Realm force kicked him flying.
At that moment, Ryan let out a roar, his muscles spasming all over. Under the five Void-Realm masters' combined assault, he was smashed across the arena, instantly covered in wounds and bleeding everywhere.
"Finally finished him off! That was way harder than I thought—who knew it'd take all six of us to beat him down? What kind of freakish cultivation does this guy have?"
"No kidding, this guy's seriously something else. Just now, I could barely feel us five holding him down!"
"Doesn't matter what he's trained in—he's under my foot now, and I can make him wish he was dead!" Aaron Zhao gritted his teeth and stomped on Ryan's face. At that moment, Ryan was barely clinging to life, unable to fight back at all...
