Lady Enchantress, Demon Sovereign

2/27/2026

"You only have one last chance left." Damon Darklord looked at Evan Yang with a smile, while Titus Skyflood also fixed his gaze on Evan, as if watching prey blindly stumble about.

Evan Yang looked at Damon Darklord and asked with a smile, "May I ask this Demon Sovereign's name? And how did you find me?"

"You want to know? Then just submit to us," Damon Darklord replied with a grin. "Submit to you? That's impossible. I won't join you, nor will I betray you after joining. I'd rather never have joined at all," Evan answered.

"Having backbone is good, but people like that tend to die quickly. Haven't you thought it through?" Damon Darklord said.

Evan Yang smiled, "I've already made up my mind. Since this Demon Sovereign isn't willing to share, I won't force it."

"Fine, I'll make you lose fair and square. My name is Damon Darklord, and I'm the master of Dark Soulfiend. You should remember Dark Soulfiend—he's told me plenty about you. As for how I found you, it's thanks to this." Damon Darklord took out a hair—Evan's own.

Evan Yang looked at the hair, surprised that just a single strand could be used to find him. He did know Dark Soulfiend—he'd ruined plenty of his plans before. Thinking of this, Evan chuckled, "So Dark Soulfiend is your disciple." "Now you know. So? If you join us, I'll overlook the past," Damon Darklord said with a smile.

"I already said, I won't join you." Evan Yang replied.

"Then you'll have to die," Damon Darklord said with a smile.

"Die? I still have one last chance—that doesn't mean I'm dead yet," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"Just one chance—I'm curious to see what you'll do with it," Damon Darklord said with a smile.

All the Demon Sovereigns turned to Evan Yang, curious how long this stubborn youth could last. After Evan glanced at them, he flashed away, flew a long distance, and then stopped to mutter, "Should I hide inside the Strange Spiral Shell? It's an independent space—maybe he can't track me there."

Just then, a woman appeared before him. Evan Yang froze for a moment, then exclaimed in surprise, "It's you!"

"Kid, you really have guts, playing around with so many Demon Sovereigns," the woman said.

"If I'm not mistaken, you're a Demon Sovereign too, right?" Evan Yang replied.

The woman paused, then smiled. "How did you know?"

"Back when Demoncloud and Morak were hunting me and I was in danger, you stepped in and saved me," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"Weren't you unconscious?" the woman asked curiously, surprised Evan had figured out her identity.

"I may have been unconscious, but I had my ways to find out," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"Kid, you really do have your tricks. But this is your last chance—do you still want to keep going?" the woman said with a smile.

"Mm." Evan Yang replied.

"You can't escape Damon Darklord's tracking unless you do as I say," the woman said after thinking for a moment.

"Oh? Is there a way to avoid the Dark Demon King's tracking?" Evan Yang asked, his eyes suspicious.

"There is a way—just enter my artifact." The woman took out a transparent pyramid. Evan Yang looked at it and asked, "What is this?"

"This is my spatial treasure—it can block Damon Darklord's tracking," the woman said.

Evan Yang had originally planned to go to his own space, but now that the woman had appeared—and had saved his life before—he wanted to get to know this Demon Sovereign. He smiled, "Thanks, then."

"Let's go." The woman smiled when Evan agreed, then swept him up and brought him into the Enchanted Pyramid. Inside, Evan saw many demonic beasts, all fierce, but they became docile in her presence.

"May I ask how I should address you?" Evan Yang didn't think the previous name was hers.

The woman smiled. "Everyone calls me Lady Enchantress. You can just call me Enchantress."

"Enchantress? I think I'll call you Senior instead," Evan Yang said with a smile.

Lady Enchantress shook her head. "No need to be so formal."

"There's something I don't understand," Evan Yang asked curiously.

"Go ahead," Lady Enchantress said, looking at Evan Yang.

"Why did you save me, Senior? I've ruined a lot of Demon Mountain's plans," Evan Yang said.

"Demon Mountain? I'm not part of Demon Mountain. What they do is their business; what I do is mine. Is there anything wrong with that?" Lady Enchantress smiled.

"That's what you say, Senior. Thank you, then." Evan Yang paused, then smiled.

Lady Enchantress smiled. "Actually, I saved you because I find you special. Otherwise, I wouldn't have rescued you so many times."

"Special?" Evan Yang asked suspiciously.

"That's right—very special. Especially all the things you've done lately. I never imagined an Immortal Lord could accomplish so much. You've really shocked me," Lady Enchantress replied.

Evan Yang felt a bit embarrassed by Lady Enchantress's words. The two began to chat, and Evan took the opportunity to learn more about her. Meanwhile, Damon Darklord's face was gloomy.

"Damon, how's it going?" Titus Skyflood was growing impatient—after over half an hour, no one had found Evan Yang's whereabouts; it was as if he'd vanished.

Damon Darklord kept his eyes closed, searching, then finally said in frustration, "Damn it, I don't know what's going on—he's disappeared."

"What? That's impossible! Your technique shouldn't fail!" Titus Skyflood exclaimed.

"It won't. It's never failed before," Damon Darklord replied.

The other Demon Sovereigns frowned repeatedly, sensing things were getting serious. Some even wanted to mock Damon's technique, but remembering his strength, they held back, their faces ugly with frustration.

Damon Darklord looked at the other Demon Sovereigns and asked, "What?"

Seeing the awkward atmosphere, Titus Skyflood said, "Don't worry, everyone. Evan Yang can't escape."

"Titus Skyflood, do you have any ideas?" Damon Darklord asked.

"Activate the Spatial Sealing Array," Titus Skyflood said.

"What? That's the Spatial Sealing Array used during major battles to keep people from the Immortal Realm out!" Damon Darklord exclaimed. The other Demon Sovereigns were shocked as well.

"Evan Yang's escape is more terrifying than anyone else's. I'd rather wipe him out than let him return and grow stronger. If we have to fight the Immortal Realm later, he'll be a huge problem. The Spatial Sealing Array just needs a few Demon Sovereigns to maintain it; the rest can keep searching the Demon Realm for Evan. As long as he doesn't leave, he can't escape," Titus Skyflood said.

Damon Darklord realized Titus Skyflood was frightened by Evan Yang's potential, and regretted giving him a chance.

Inside the Enchanted Pyramid, as Evan Yang spoke with Lady Enchantress, she received a message. After reading it, she smiled, "Kid, it seems your potential has thrown those Demon Sovereigns into disarray."

"What's going on?" Evan Yang asked curiously.

"They've actually used the Spatial Sealing Array," Lady Enchantress said with a smile.

"Spatial Sealing Array?" Evan Yang asked, frowning suspiciously.

"Yes, it seals the Demon Realm's space so no one can enter or leave," Lady Enchantress explained.

Evan Yang hadn't expected the Demon Sovereigns to be so capable. He'd planned to infuse his pen with enough power to try jumping space and escaping, but now things weren't going as he hoped.

"What a hassle," Evan Yang sighed.

"Don't worry. Since that's the case, I'll take you somewhere—just for fun. Let them keep struggling," Lady Enchantress said with a smile.

"Where to?" Evan Yang asked curiously.

"It's a good place. Once you're there, you might not be tracked by that Demon Sovereign," Lady Enchantress said with a smile.

Evan Yang was happy to hear he wouldn't be tracked—he'd be free in the Demon Realm again. He smiled, "Thank you so much."

Lady Enchantress left the Enchanted Pyramid, leaving Evan Yang inside, then departed.

News of the Spatial Sealing Array quickly reached the Immortal Realm Alliance. The Alliance Leader was shocked: "Evan Yang actually went to the Demon Realm and caused all this trouble!"

Worried about Evan's safety, the Alliance Leader wanted to send people to help, but since the Spatial Sealing Array blocked entry, he had to give up. Instead, he ordered Clara Snow to find and protect Evan Yang no matter what.

'Evan, you didn't even tell me you went to the Demon Realm. And that Titus Skyflood actually switched bodies—now the Immortal Realm is even more dangerous,' the Alliance Leader muttered to himself.

After receiving the Alliance Leader's order, Clara Snow sent people everywhere to search for Evan Yang. But Evan seemed to have disappeared. Even the people of Demon Mountain and the Demon Sovereigns couldn't find him.

At this moment, Evan Yang had already left the Enchanted Pyramid. Outside, he saw rows of black flowers and branches—they looked strange. Walking among them, he asked curiously, "Senior, walking here means the Demon Sovereigns won't find us?"

"There's a barrier here—even Damon Darklord, with all his power, can't detect you," Lady Enchantress said.

"Really? That's amazing," Evan Yang said in surprise.

"Of course. If needed, I can even help you avoid Damon's tracking," Lady Enchantress said with a smile.

"Thank you so much, Senior," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"It's nothing. Just wait here for a bit—I'm going in to see my friend. He's a bit eccentric, and if I bring you in without warning, he might get angry," Lady Enchantress said.

"Sorry for the trouble, Senior," Evan Yang replied.

"It's nothing. Just stay here—don't wander, or you might get lost," Lady Enchantress reminded Evan Yang.

Evan Yang nodded. After Lady Enchantress left, he began to examine the trees around him and wondered about the barrier outside.
