"Self-immolate?"
This heart-piercing question quietly stabbed into Argo's body and soul, making him instinctively retreat tens of thousands of meters.
He tried to distance himself from Andrew Han, to escape this question.
But after Andrew spoke, the Light Clan Heaven-King Asheron Arshen and the numerous nearby Light Clan kin all fixed their strange, indescribable gazes on Argo, forcing him to suppress his panic and quietly retract his jagged light wheel.
"Damn it!"
Argo felt a twinge of regret: "I shouldn't have come here. I shouldn't have met this Andrew Han."
Now, the Light Clan has two new-generation Eternal Kings, just like the Human Andrew Han—both are Fifth-Stage Void Rift. Asheron Arshen has already suffered a crushing defeat, and the Light Clan cannot afford the catastrophic cost of a second new-generation Eternal King losing again.
So then.
To exchange the life of a Cosmic Eternal Realm being for a reliable insurance policy—almost all Light Clan beings would agree without hesitation. After all, they only need to approve, not pay any price themselves.
"But, but..."
"I am a Cosmic Eternal!" Argo stared at Andrew Han from afar, his icy gaze as if he wanted to devour him whole: "I, Argo, have endured endless tribulations and finally opened the gate to immortality. I am willing to charge into Human Territory, unafraid of dying in battle, but I cannot accept dying by self-immolation."
A dignified Cosmic Eternal, forced to self-immolate and commit suicide?
Life is so brilliant, a career so splendid—there are many meanings to existence, and from any angle, suicide is an utterly worthless act.
Let alone Argo, who has traveled the starry sky and knows how vast the world is—naturally, he refuses to die in vain: "Human Heaven-King Andrew Han, you are truly despicable. In your Star-Sky Human language, 'killing is just a bow to the ground,' but every word you speak strikes at the heart. Most shameless of all, you are forcing me to die!"
"That's right."
Facing Argo's low growl, Andrew Han responded with a quiet laugh.
The shattered Light Sky, the ruined earth—only fragments of light-source nodes drifted in the aftermath, bearing witness to the consequences of the Heaven-Kings' fierce battle.
"I do want you to die!"
"I want you dead!"
Andrew Han's gaze was like a blade—cold, fierce, and domineering. His voice rang out, sharp and powerful: "Argo, as a high-ranking member of the Arshen Tribe, the Light Clan spent untold resources to cultivate you into a Cosmic Eternal. Now, when the tribe needs you to make a sacrifice, you refuse, you evade."
The sound traveled far and wide, reverberating through the Light Sky, as if it echoed across the entire Arshen Tribe.
The Human Heaven-King's whisper was as deep as an abyss and as vast as the sea, causing the entire Arshen Tribe to fall silent.
Enough!
Argo roared in midair. He wanted to kill Andrew Han, killing intent swirling around him, with a chilling coldness permeating subspace.
Unfortunately, it was useless.
Even if he gave it his all, he still couldn't do anything to this Human Heaven-King Andrew Han.
Because that pure white starship was docked not far behind Andrew Han, and on it stood an ancient Human existence whose faintly emanating aura terrified Argo—he feared that only a Supreme Light Clan being could suppress this Human warship without injury.
But if Andrew Han kept talking, even if Argo survived, he would be ostracized or even expelled by the Arshen Tribe.
Enough!
Argo growled again, staring at Andrew Han: 'Stop talking—what do you actually want? If I, Argo, kill myself and self-immolate, can you guarantee you'll hold back? I don't believe it.'
He angrily questioned, filled with extreme unwillingness.
After a lifetime of bitter cultivation and difficult evolution, always striving upward, to be forced to death by a single word from a Human junior—to be killed by words alone. Just imagining it made him feel unbearably stifled; he would die without peace, unable to let go even after death.
So Argo only wanted an answer, to make things clear.
Oh.
Andrew Han brushed off the corner of his green robe, then sat down again with deliberate composure, glancing at Argo whose light-body had changed color.
From the corner of his eye, he saw Asheron Arshen, the Light Clan Heaven-King, seemed moved, and also noticed that most of the nearby Light Clan beings showed signs of being moved. He recalled how, in the past, when Argo descended upon the Solar System, he killed mercilessly, and Andrew Han had no power to resist.
But today is different from the past.
He is now the Human Heaven-King, representing the Star-Sky Humans in challenging the Light Clan.
Especially after defeating Asheron Arshen, Andrew Han could, with a casual remark, force this Cosmic Eternal—this culprit behind the Solar System's destruction—to his death.
But...
Andrew Han let out a deep breath.
What? What did you say?" Argo hurriedly pressed: "If I self-immolate, our Heaven-King Kedoran won't lose. How can you prove it? How can I believe you?
The Light Sky trembled, a hurricane swept past, and a silence blanketed the world.
Not far away, on the pure white starship, the many Humans standing at the bow looked at each other but ultimately did not speak to intervene. Because Andrew Han had already won their respect with his strength, they decided to give him some autonomy. Defeating Asheron Arshen was enough.
Andrew Han sat cross-legged, his gaze cold and indifferent as he looked at Argo: 'Believe it or not, it's up to you. I can't prove it.'
Argo growled: 'If you break your promise, wouldn't I have died for nothing!'
Then forget it..." Andrew Han gazed deeply at Argo, then closed his eyes to rest: "Then please live well, live with a smile, Argo.
???
Argo was instantly stunned.
He slowly opened his jagged light wheel, which was actually his mouth agape, his whole body feeling as if plunged into an icy abyss.
He suddenly understood Andrew Han's true intention.
No!!!
Argo roared in grief and anger.
Heh." Andrew Han sat calmly in midair, adjusting his state and meanwhile sorting out the mysteries of the gray-white currents: "I'll just sit here and keep waiting for your Light Clan Heaven-King Kedoran to arrive.
Lord Argo.
You may leave now.
He understood, of course, that what was more terrifying than a knife was the human heart; the same applied to the Light Clan, and indeed to all life races.
Back in his homeland of China during his youth, there was already the phenomenon of online violence. Transposed to the cosmic starry sky, such online violence would have incomparable destructive power—enough to destroy Argo's entire body and mind.
Not just one's life, but one's mind, beliefs, and everything one has always adhered to.
Just like facing a devout believer—death is frightening, but even more terrifying is the collapse of one's faith.
