Unshaken Like a Mountain

Leon Lu was about to step forward to help, already moving to intervene.

"Let me do it!"

But before he could act, Martin Wu barked out a command and stared hard at the man in front of him: "I want to see if you really have what it takes to knock me down!"

Martin Wu was full of fighting spirit, his whole body radiating explosive power.

To the onlookers, Martin Wu at this moment seemed like a completely different person compared to when he faced Lena Xu just now.

Martin Wu's aura was completely different when facing a man versus facing a woman.

He let out a furious roar and charged forward. As his powerful body exploded with strength, his punch tore through the air, whipping up gusts of wind.

That punch was aimed straight at the man's face.

It looked like he was about to land the punch.

The onlookers were shocked by Martin Wu's combat power in this moment.

In the blink of an eye, the man walking forward slowly curled his lips into a cold, disdainful smile.

"Is that all you've got?"

He sneered, standing his ground, then casually threw out a punch.

Bang!

On one side was Martin Wu's powerful, fully-charged punch; on the other, the man's seemingly casual blow.

The moment their fists collided.

A dull thud sounded.

Immediately after, a figure was sent flying backward.

Martin Wu's body shot back like a broken kite, crashing with a thunderous boom into the tables and chairs behind him, instantly crushing the solid wood and spraying splinters everywhere.

"Martin!"

Gloria Rong and Grace Liu both turned pale.

Frank Bi and Calvin Zheng rushed over to help him up.

Martin Wu kept coughing violently, spitting blood with every cough.

He stared at the man standing not far away, his right hand hanging limp—he could barely lift his wrist, let alone muster strength for another attack.

"Already down for the count?"

Tyson Tai raised an eyebrow and laughed loudly: "Where's that arrogant Martin from a minute ago? What, in less than sixty seconds, he's flat on his back?"

He looked at Martin Wu with a cold gaze.

Charles Cheng and the others wore expressions of open disdain.

Lena Xu stood up and stared at the battered Martin Wu, her eyes flashing with anger: "Where's all that strength you used on me just now?"

"What, it's gone already?"

As she shouted, her voice carried not just the embarrassment of being easily beaten by Martin Wu, but also a lingering anger at seeing him lying helpless in someone else's arms.

This anger seemed inexplicable to Martin Wu and the others.

"His hand is broken."

The man who came with Lena Xu and hadn't fought yet spoke softly from the side.

The others didn't understand what Lena Xu was thinking.

But he did.

For someone from the Tiger Special Forces, admitting defeat after being knocked down by a single punch would only make Lena Xu feel ashamed.

Even if that person was standing on the opposite side now.

Even if that person just embarrassed her.

Even if Lena Xu wanted him to suffer, wanted her side to beat him down hard, she absolutely didn't want him to give up so easily.
