Lost Divine Realm 9

Lily Bai felt inexplicably stifled inside and nodded.

"Why can the God-Demon Child reopen the Demon Sealing Well? It doesn't say up there," Evan Lan said. "But when I saw that Moonlight's blood could erase the seal, I suddenly understood."

"Did you already know I was the Ling Emperor back then?"

"I only suspected it," Evan Lan said.

"Then why... didn't you just kill me?" Lily Bai asked.

Evan Lan looked at her but said nothing.

Lily Bai felt oddly guilty under his gaze and avoided his eyes, saying, "Mabel An is dead. Kieran Xiao is almost gone too."

Evan Lan frowned, took her hand, and led her to the edge of the array. "Let's go."

"Wait until Kieran Xiao dies first," Lily Bai said. "Otherwise that fish will just keep going forever."

"Go bring him back," Evan Lan said. "It's rare to have someone who can predict the future in this world."

"You don't seriously want to keep him around, do you?"

Evan Lan nodded.

"He's been chasing you all over the world trying to kill you, and you still want to keep him?"

"I kept you, didn't I? Why can't I keep him too?"

Lily Bai: "...Fine! Whatever, do what you want."

She tossed the array stone into the pit.

This time, everyone was teleported together.

As soon as they appeared, the Undying Fish cried out, "You actually brought so many people to help! So heartless!"

Then it hid itself.

Evan Lan ignored it and went to Kieran Xiao's side.

He's not dead yet, but he's close.

He was barely alive, staring at Evan Lan without blinking.

Evan Lan reached out and placed his hand on Kieran's forehead.

The spiritual energy constantly pouring into Kieran's body was drawn out by Evan Lan.

Kieran probably felt a whole lot better after that.

Evan Lan settled him into the wheelchair and said to the Eternal Wishfish, "Didn't you want to come out? Go on! Make his legs grow back."

The Eternal Wishfish poked its head out of the painting. "Really?"

"Would I lie about something like that?"

"But if you do that... you'll have to use up your life energy," the Eternal Wishfish said weakly. "There's plenty of spiritual energy here, so it probably won't kill you, but you'll still be seriously weakened."

"You sure do talk a lot," Evan Lan said. "Are you really not planning to leave that painting?"

The Eternal Wishfish finally swam out of the painting and said, "You said it yourself! You guys can't come after me for revenge!"

After saying that, it started absorbing Evan Lan's life energy again.

Lily Bai glared at it.

It ignored her and just kept sucking away.

As it absorbed, it transferred Evan Lan's life energy into Kieran Xiao.

All around, the Spirit Trees actively poured their spiritual energy into Evan Lan's body.

Evan Lan's face grew paler and paler, but he was still okay.

Meanwhile, Kieran Xiao's legs... slowly started to grow back.

Kieran Xiao's mouth hung open as he stared at his legs in disbelief.

Gradually, he started to feel them again—they thickened and lengthened...

Once his legs were fully healed, the fish in the painting suddenly flashed red and jumped out.

"Hahaha! I'm out! I finally got out! Hahahaha—huh? What are you doing?"

It was caught by Lily Bai.

"Uh? What are you doing? Hey! Help!" The Eternal Wishfish struggled desperately.

"You stupid fish, I'm going to kill you today!" Black mist surged from Lily Bai's hands.

"Forget it," Evan Lan said, grabbing her hand. "I'm fine."

Lily Bai tossed it to Evan Lan's cousin, Evan Yu. "Take it home and fry it up!"

Evan Yu looked at it and asked, "Can you eat this?"

Lily Bai: "Give it a try."

"You two are monsters!" the Eternal Wishfish cried.
