These Two Are My Father's Friends

The Alchemist God, Luke Kee, wrote in his inheritance jade slip that once you open the door to his tower, you must never take another master.

The only reason I brought Colin Gu here was because I had no other choice...

But Jun Lionhead has always been my master. All my alchemy skills were taught by him, and as tradition goes, the first master always comes first. I don't think Elder Luke Kee's spirit would mind, right?

"Why are you still standing there? Hurry up and bow to your master!" Minister Zhuo tugged at her, urging her to kneel.

Uh... Disciple Grace, greets Master!" Grace knelt down and bowed respectfully.

"Hmm, come inside with me." Jun Lionhead led them into the thatched cottage.

Grace, Colin Gu, and Minister Zhuo followed Jun Lionhead into the cottage one after another.

Only Evan Xiao lagged half a step behind, taking a moment to observe the surroundings.

This place was protected by an extremely sophisticated and powerful formation.

If anyone tried to force their way in, they'd die without a trace!

After inviting everyone to sit, Jun Lionhead said, "My surname is Lionhead, and my given name is Jun."

Minister Zhuo bowed, "Mr. Lionhead, I apologize for the intrusion today!"

Jun Lionhead looked at Minister Zhuo and asked, "Grace, are they all your family?"

Grace quickly introduced, "Master, this is my father. He's the Prime Minister of Blue Moon Kingdom."

"So you're the Prime Minister. My apologies!" Jun Lionhead said, standing up.

"You're too kind, sir!" Minister Zhuo replied with a bow.

These two are close friends of my father's," Grace said, gesturing to Colin Gu and Evan Xiao.

Jun Lionhead nodded to them in greeting.

Colin Gu nodded back politely.

But Evan Xiao suddenly spoke up, "Lionhead... that's a big family name."

Throughout the entire Ten Wilds Continent, it's considered a prestigious family name.

Jun Lionhead looked at Evan Xiao, gave a slight smile, then said to Grace, "Since your family is here to witness, let's have the apprenticeship ceremony now!"

Yes." Grace knelt before him, performed the three bows and nine kowtows, completing the formal ceremony.

Minister Zhuo was so happy he couldn't stop grinning.

This man carried an air of calm elegance with every gesture—clearly a true recluse and master.

Originally, Minister Zhuo thought Grace coming here without even preparing a gift would make it hard for her to become a disciple.

Who would've thought it would be so easy?

"Master, my father and the others have urgent matters to attend to. Please allow me a moment to speak with him alone."

Jun Lionhead nodded, signaling them to do as they pleased.

So Grace and Minister Zhuo stepped outside together.

Dad, I'd like to stay here with Master and study medicine for a while. I won't go with you all this time. When you return, can you come pick me up?

Now that Colin Gu is here, she doesn't want to go to Windspire Kingdom anymore.

It's better to stay with Master and train hard, maybe she'll advance to Rank Six soon.

Uh..." Minister Zhuo glanced at the cottage and lowered his voice, "We've never met this man before and don't know anything about him. Are you sure it's safe?

"Don't worry, Dad. Since I managed to find this place, I already did my homework." Grace said. "There's absolutely no problem with him."

"Then, who introduced you to him?"

"It was... the emperor from the Upper Kingdom who recommended him," Grace said. "Otherwise, do you think he'd accept me so easily? I'm sure Henry Tuoba spoke to him in advance."

"So that's how it is!" Minister Zhuo suddenly understood. "I thought so!"

Grace smiled.

"Then stay here!" Minister Zhuo said cheerfully. "When I come back, I'll pick you up."

I can't really talk to Evan Xiao alone, so could you let him know not to worry? Just tell him I'm safe and well here.

Minister Zhuo nodded.

After that, the group bid farewell and left.

Grace escorted them to the edge of the bamboo forest formation, waved, and said, "Be careful and return victorious!"
