Blade Scar

Somewhere within the Archaic Hall.

Wade Wu II, at the peak of the Cosmic Eternal Realm, had just finished his border investigation mission. Upon returning to the hall, he heard the shocking news: "Our Human Race has wiped out the Yu-Luo Race!?"

He had already confirmed at the border that the Light Clan's unusual movements were a false alarm, and was returning in a relaxed mood. But now, he was utterly stunned—Wade Wu II was nearly speechless.

Beside Wade Wu II.

Jinkirk Jin, a Human expert resembling a golden snub-nosed monkey, also drew a sharp breath.

Crunch, crunch—Jinkirk Jin's pale-gold eyes flashed with confusion as he bit through several pieces of metal. "Why annihilate an entire race? Based on the Yu-Luo Race's actions, extermination seems excessive. Is there some hidden reason?"

The Human Race stands supreme, but even they have many concerns.

To casually wipe out another life race is a grave taboo in the universe. If it provokes a coalition of second-rate races, and they all rise up in opposition, even the Human Race would face immense danger despite their strength.

"Indeed, I'm puzzled as well."

Wade Wu II furrowed his brow deeply, his voice heavy.

Their eyes met.

Both were filled with shock and doubt.

At least in their eyes, the death of a single Primeval-Gate Famous Master was not worth exterminating the Yu-Luo Race.

"Let me ask my Master." Without much hesitation, Wade Wu II contacted his Master to inquire about the situation.

"This time, my Master personally took action, activating the strongest star-system-level suppression mode. It seems intended as a deterrent. I think the Yu-Luo Race was just a pretext."

As he spoke,

Wade Wu II's voice grew weaker, his brow furrowed tightly.

Beside him, Jinkirk Jin grew impatient, rubbing his hands together and urgently asking, "What's going on?"

"This is related to the Nether Clan. They tried to possess Primeval-tier Humans and infiltrate the Archaic Hall, attempting to seize control of our Human Race's..." Wade Wu II lowered his voice, his expression growing increasingly grave.

Crunch.

Metal shattered in his mouth as Jinkirk Jin stared in disbelief, eyes wide. "Possession? Has the Nether Clan lost their minds? Do they really think they can fool the Archaic Hall's investigation?"

The Archaic Hall, one of the Human Race's three core centers.

For the Nether Clan to deceive the heavens and cross the sea is almost impossible.

Glancing at Jinkirk Jin, Wade Wu II shook his head, his white hair rippling through the void, surrounded by twisted, folded ripples. "The Nether Clan alone isn't confident... but with the Yu-Luo Race, they are. The Yu-Luo Race somehow developed a rare soul-sealing talent. That talent, combined with the Nether Clan's Nether Dominion, makes it possible. They can't perfectly imitate the Shenro Clan or Light Clan—there are obvious flaws—but disguising themselves as Human Geniuses is no problem."

What!?

Jinkirk Jin was stunned, his eyes growing even wider.

Wade Wu II sighed. "That's why the Yu-Luo Race had to be exterminated. This is the open plot handed to us by the Nether Clan—the only question is whether we accept it or not."

If we accept, it will provoke protests from many life races.

If we refuse, we'll face risks that can't be defended against in the future.

Both options have their pros and cons; it's hard to say which is better for the Human Race. Even Wade Wu II and Jinkirk Jin, as Cosmic Eternal Realm experts, exchanged glances. If it were up to them, they'd be scratching their heads, unsure how to decide.

"Sigh."

"The universe is so mysterious, so vast," Jinkirk Jin suddenly remarked, chewing on a strange piece of metal. "We have no way of predicting what substances or lifeforms might emerge in this cosmos. Even the Four Great Life Races can't know everything."

In the past,

Who could have imagined that the Yu-Luo Race's rare talent would combine with the Nether Dominion, producing such unimaginable effects?

However, precisely because of this talent, the Yu-Luo Race was destined to join the Nether Clan; eradicating them early was no loss... After pondering for a moment, Wade Wu II waved his hand and took his leave of Jinkirk Jin. Leisurely departing, he glanced through his Star-Gate Martial Communicator.

"Huh?"

"Andrew Han has advanced to Primeval?" Wade Wu II scratched his head in astonishment. "He single-handedly lifted the Nether-Fame Stele and caught Master Xu's attention. He might even have a chance to be accepted as a disciple by a Supreme."

The minimum standard for a Supreme to accept a disciple:

Is precisely Primeval-tier.

——

In truth, within the entire hall, the Spark-Heritage Zone is considered the weakest division—composed almost entirely of Human Geniuses, with Cosmic Eternal Realm experts exceedingly rare and no access to top-secret information.

As the heated discussion subsided, the Spark-Heritage Zone returned to normal.

Only a handful learned the truth: the Human Supremes had acted together, wiping out the Yu-Luo Race.

……

In the Primeval Gate of the Spark-Heritage Zone, there exists a Starry Wonder known as the Life-Death Star.

A massive star stretches across the void, its surface dim and adorned with billions of patterns, suspended in a state of neither dispersing nor collapsing—holding the mysteries of resurrection and cosmic death within its stillness.

"Hmm."

Andrew Han stood with his hands behind his back, gazing at the star.

Sunlight shone, the void was tranquil, and a contemplative look flashed in his eyes. "Blake Bloodchart left without a word, clearly in low spirits. No matter how I tried to persuade him, it was useless. He said he'd return to closed cultivation and wouldn't emerge until he reached Void Rift."

As he pondered,

Not far away, at the entrance to the manor, steward Uyu Wu hurried over to Andrew Han's side. "Your Highness."

"What is it?"

Andrew Han stopped pondering and looked at Uyu Wu.

"Primeval has returned, and the Primeval-Gate Famous Master Pavilion has resumed normal operations." As Uyu Wu spoke, he presented a rectangular box. "This is the Primeval-exclusive badge issued by the Pavilion. Its effects and significance are unknown, but the Pavilion insisted I deliver it to Your Highness."

The rectangular box was crafted from milky-white crystal diamond, and inside was a faintly visible nine-pointed star-shaped badge.

On the badge, the word 'Primeval' was engraved.

"Oh."

Andrew Han took it, opened the box, and examined the badge. "I understand."

"Then I won't disturb Your Highness any further." Uyu Wu bowed and took his leave.

"Alright."

Andrew Han watched Uyu Wu leave, thinking to himself: The Primeval badge is related to Primeval duties.

His Star-Gate Martial Communicator had already sent a notification, instructing him to wait for his exclusive Primeval badge to be issued before reporting to the Famous Master Pavilion.

"I was wondering when I'd receive it; I didn't expect it to be so soon." Andrew Han shook his head and sent a video message to Phoenix Spring, asking about the badge. It turned out Phoenix Spring hadn't received theirs yet.

There was no specified time anyway.

He decided to wait until Phoenix Spring received their Primeval badge, then they'd report to the Famous Master Pavilion together.

"Well then."

"Let's check out the Celestial Venerable Ruins first."

He'd been living here for so long and still hadn't visited. Andrew Han glanced up at the dark red star, then soared into the air, heading toward the Celestial Venerable Ruins.

Whoosh!

A flash of blue light streaked past as he left the manor.

The dark red star remained motionless, its surroundings vast—about the size of a solar system. After roughly half an hour, Andrew Han slowed down, stabilized, and landed directly before the Celestial Venerable Ruins.

A palace came into view.

The palace had no edges or corners, no borders; it appeared to be a spherical structure.

"Huh."

After a quick look, Andrew Han felt something odd.

The palace stood frozen before him, perfectly still, like a surreal painting. The dreamlike, unadorned palace emitted no light, as if it absorbed sunlight like a black hole—yet it was perfectly visible.

A Celestial Venerable had once been here.

No.

More precisely, this was where the Celestial Venerable spent their daily cultivation during the Primeval era.

Andrew Han muttered to himself, observing the palace. He stepped forward toward the giant door... The sealed, circular palace had only one massive door, half-open, half-closed, faintly shimmering as if leading to another world.

"Let's go in and take a look."

With his mind made up, Andrew Han pushed open the giant door.

Creak.

The giant door opened gently, revealing a circular passage a hundred meters in diameter. The inner walls were engraved with ever-changing marks, and as Andrew Han entered, the passage instantly lit up.

Clang!

The ring of a blade echoed sweetly!

A dazzling blade light rushed toward him—Andrew Han's expression changed dramatically!
