Seriously, you guys call yourselves Flower Thieves and yet you want to organize a hero's convention like George Kwok?
And you Flower Thieves, do you really need to hold big meetings, organize teams, and even make five-year plans?
How am I supposed to even roast this? Seriously! Even Maggie Monroe and the lowly servants are stunned! No wonder that old guy just asked, 'Why'd you bring a woman?' Turns out it's this kind of place—bringing a woman really is weird. Old Doc, I owe you an apology.
Hey, did you hear me? Hurry up and give your name! The two guys barked impatiently, "Are you really the 'Gynecology Master'? Or are you just a thief trying to sneak in?"
No, no, no, fellas—even if you sound all righteous, every single one of you in this courtyard is a crook. You're all Flower Thieves!
But—whoosh! Jill Young snapped out of her shock instantly. Not only that, her eyes started blazing, and Wu Zhengfeng suddenly felt something was off—yep, she's in full crazy mode now!
She wasn't that motivated before, but now she's super into it! It's like joining a group chat where everyone's sharing memes and files—how could a true nerd not join?
Let me in, please!
But before I can join, there are two moderators checking credentials—so annoying...
You probably don't know my name, but when it comes to 'Gynecology Master'—" Jill Young ran her fingers through her hair and grinned, a sparkle at the corner of her mouth. "I'm the real deal."
Hmph, anyone can talk big, but a nobody like you can't possibly have any skills. How could you join today's rally? The Hum-Ha Brothers still wouldn't let her pass.
You haven't heard of me, so you just assume I have no skills? And who are you guys anyway? If we're talking nobodies, what gives you the right to judge others? Jill Young shoved them aside: "Move it!"
Faced with Jill Young's deceptively gentle push, The Hum-Ha Brothers braced themselves, puffed out their chests, and planted their feet solidly—like human barricades. But under her unstoppable strength and inner power, they simply rolled straight through the door!
The moderators were finally dealt with, but Maggie Monroe wanted to send a message: 'Hey, maybe we shouldn't go in? Three women wandering around a den of Flower Thieves—it's just asking for trouble.'
Hey...
Just as Maggie Monroe started to speak, Jill Young charged right in, and someone immediately greeted her: 'Brilliant! Well said, sir! Who cares about reputation? Skill is what matters. And just by daring to bring two lovely ladies here, you've already proven you're no ordinary person!'
With a smack, one of the Hum-Ha Brothers landed face-first at the newcomer's feet. The newcomer was a young man, about Jill Young's height, and totally flashy. Handsome, but with a definite rogue vibe. His fancy clothes made him look dashing, but his jade ring and paper fan screamed 'wannabe rich guy.'
He stepped over Hum-Ha, walked right up to Jill Young, and greeted her with an exaggerated bow: 'My friend, I was just thinking this hero convention was missing something, but now you've arrived—what a delight!' His peach-blossom eyes darted to the two women, then he introduced himself: 'My name's An, just An Heng. My courtesy name is Erle.'
Oh—! Jill Young immediately pointed at him, nodding with a sly look: "So you're An Erle... I've heard a lot about you!"
You've heard of me, my friend? The handsome guy perked up: "Haha, I'm honored! Folks in the martial world call me 'Seven Times Gentleman.' I like to think I'm pretty suave, but compared to you, I'm humbled! Haha!"
